I've been coming here for almost six months now, and while everything is great, the Wi-Fi is painfully slow. I've tried both iPhone and Android devices, but the issue persists. There's also very poor mobile signal (only 1 bar), so mobile data doesn't work either. Having decent Wi-Fi is a basic expectation when signing up for a gym. I hope management can address this issue because, aside from this, the gym is perfect. However, the Wi-Fi problem is definitely a deal-breaker.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this outstanding club. Personally, all the staff is attentive, professional, engaged and friendly. My lessons and clinics with Ed have been enjoyable and his attention to good fundamentals has helped several aspects of my game. From my perspective, I feel fortunate to have him as an instructor and the combination of a good cardiovascular workout and an educational experience he provides to improve my game is always a highlight of my day!

Having been a member of the Cherry Hill Racquet Club for the last five or six months, I can easily say I love it there. The staff is friendly and I enjoy all the tennis programming they have to offer. Between private lessons and drills, I play there about three times a week. Ed was my private coach thus far until he noticed one day that I participated in a private drill with another coach. I now play in the club league but since Ed was offended that I participated in a drill not run by him, he moved me to the lowest club level in the drills. This isn’t fair to me as I don’t play at that level, he simply placed me there due to his ego. Regardless, I can’t even say my game has significantly improved as a result of Ed- having Ed as an instructor is equivalent to a ball machine. To sum up, the racquet club is a great place however I do not recommend attending Ed’s drills or using him as a private coach as he’s on a power trip and isn’t even that good.

This is your middle tier fitness center. They have great staff, and they offer a lot of activities. Basketball, yoga, Pilates, group classes, tennis, racquet ball, even a very nice Parissi training center for youth in the back. The downsides are the gym itself is pretty old, carpet on parts of gym floor. The equipment is old, the roof leaks, the locker rooms are old with little ventilation. If you can look pass those things you are good, another plus is you don't have to wait for equipment since the gym is rarely over packed at any time.

The Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club has many well-maintained tennis courts and offers adult tennis drills / clinics at several different times per skill level (except for beginners – there is just one on Wednesday evenings). Since it is hard to make it to the beginning adult tennis drills on Wednesday evenings for those who work late, it would be nice if it was offered on at least one other time (maybe during the weekends) – I wanted to get a sense of where my skill level is at currently since it’s been a while since I’ve played tennis regularly. Speaking of which, the receptionist on the phone (who answered after so many times of trying to call) said that I could talk to Rick and schedule a time for an assessment to see if I would be better off starting in the beginning level or the intermediate, so he kindly transferred me to Rick’s line. Since Rick didn’t answer, I left a voicemail; however, he has yet to call me back – I have been waiting for a long month. Based on my experience, other reviews about the customer service here make sense – it is not the best here. I don’t remember her name, but the one who gave me the tour and provided information about the tennis membership here seems to be the only one who provides good customer service. I’d love to get back into playing tennis again, but it seems like I may have to switch clubs.
