Liz saved my life. I no longer struggle with an eating disorder because of the help I received at this clinic. I would highly recommend any individual struggling with a personal eating disorder and body image issues to contact integrated counseling and wellness to meet with one of their eating disorder clinicians.

I was very hopeful when I started meeting with Rachel Adams, as I had seen so many positive reviews, but I had a terrible experience. There were multiple issues during my meetings with her. Each time she forgot my living situation and where I was at in my life. She continuously asked about roommates and school, even though I told her each time I wasn’t going to school and didn’t live with roommates. I understand this is a college town, but after a few times of being corrected, she could have written down some details of my life. Another huge red flag to me is that she kept advertising her religious beliefs to me. In almost every appointment she mentioned that she didn’t care what I believed in, but would talk about Jesus, forgiveness, and many other religious topics. I was also charged for a telehealth appointment after she had technical difficulties. I had already gotten time off work and changed my social plans to make the appointment. She didn’t show up in the appointment online so I called and made a new appointment and asked for a refill on my prescription. She called me 30-45 minutes after the appointment would have been over as I was heading out the door. We had a 5-8 minute rushed conversation, mostly consisting of her awkwardly apologizing, and letting me know that my prescription was renewed and making sure it was still working for me. I was charged the same rate after insurance as any other appointment, even after calling their office multiple times to get the charges removed. My final complaint is that I was charged $100 for a missed appointment in the middle of a family emergency. I understand that that is their policy, but after Rachel missed an appointment with me that I was still charged for, I was very disappointed. Although it was helpful to get a diagnosis and medication, I feel like I was taken advantage of in many ways by Rachel and the office. I would not recommend working with her or any psychiatrist here.

Integrated Counseling & Wellness has done so much for me. The atmosphere is very inviting and professional. The staff is friendly and helpful. They greet me when I come in and wish me a good day when I leave. I once had a work emergency 10 minutes before my appointment and needed to cancel. The staff worked so easily with me and was so forgiving of my circumstance. In addition, the staff is very punctual. My provider always starts our appointments on time. She is sensitive to my needs and patient with my progress. She has helped me in ways I didn't know I needed. She is encouraging and motivating. I look forward to each appointment and know that I will be treated with the utmost care, respect, and professionalism. I highly recommend this facility to others.

I was grateful ICW could fit me into their counseling schedule so soon after I decided to go back to therapy. However, my experience was a slow burn of unprofessionalism. I saw a female counselor for several appointments and felt she was atleast invested in my life. But, one day I came in with a bought of anxiety about not being able to find a job, and I told her a handful of places I had applied to. She responded to this with, “I can’t see you getting hired. Companies in this area have been burnt by young people like you.” Like what?! Then she basically said she has always been financially secure and couldn’t relate to my anxiety… too bad that wasn’t the point. Very disappointed how things ended with her. She lost sight of my needs, so our relationship crumbled. I have requested a handful of times to get on a list for a new counselor and nothing has been done. ICW just charged my last appointment without even letting me know when the charge was made to my account (like what if it was the end of the month and I just needed to wait for my next pay check?) They have been radio silent ever since.

They gave my appointment to someone else when we had just talked over the phone about my coming in soon. When I tried to politely broach the subject the office manager got pretty passive aggressive and made a lot of excuses that in my opinion were inadequate explanations or her decisions. If you're going to cancel my appointment because I accidentally had the wrong time in my calendar and charge me $100 that's on me. But when I say "Oh I'm sorry, no I can make it a short appointment it's fine. I'll be there in five minutes! :)" don't say "okay" and then let the next patient in and pretend it's the previous patient going 55 minutes over while I'm in the waiting room.... during my own blocked out time. The only reason I knew was because I directly asked Chris if it was. All that was pretty annoying but I wasn't too bothered cause I was the one late in the first place. It's when things got passive aggressive that I thought it crossed a professional line. They could have just said they didn't think I'd actually make it in enough time to see the psychiatrist and I would have said yeah no worries and I wouldn't be writing this right now. I think I'm a pretty chill person but passive aggressiveness really gets me, especially awkwardly in public, so here I am writing out my experience.
