My 4 yr old went in for a trial class. The girls at the front desk were not very inviting, if I didn’t go up and inform them it was our first class they wouldn’t have even acknowledged us. The facility is huge and the equipment is in great condition. What we weren’t impressed with was the coaching for her age level. The coaches were young and didn’t seem to provide much instruction. There were 2 coaches for her age group, one of them held one of the athletes for about 40 minutes of the hour class. The coach couldn’t help any of the other kids or provide instructions since she was carrying one of them nearly the whole time. Very bad example for the other kids in the class. My daughter had fun and really wants to do gymnastics. For the price we don’t think it is worth it for the level of coaching and instruction.

My daughter goes to Danik, it's a great gymnastics place and the staff and teachers are all really great. Only thing that is a bummer is parking, the place is so popular, it's extremely difficult to find a spot to park anywhere.

If you are looking for a place for your kids to get energy out or step foot into what gymnastics is like then this is the place. However if you are looking for somewhere that will teach the cores of gymnastics I do not recommend this place. The staff are all very sweet and kind. The waiting area for parents was a little crowded and dirty. Not a big ordeal. The staff were all very sweet young teenagers who showed great kindness to the kiddos however I quickly learned a lot of them were not experienced. This came direct from another staff members mouth. We did the trial for older girls but she was doing things other classes were doing. She was also alone in her class no other students in her class. That was heartbreaking. I’m a former gymnast myself and a big thing we are taught is body mechanics and none of this was taught to her when she was trying out and you worry about injuries at that point. If it was tumbling it wouldn’t have been big but headstands and handstands you are talking spinal injuries. Anyways I gave this place a 3/5 for its kindness, availability, accessibility, and equipment. However it lacked teachers with skills, courses outlined differently from eachother, and safety. If you do decide to go here with your kids I have no doubt they are in good care so again I’m not putting anyone down I’m just stating this isn’t the place to build and learn skills.

Our whole experience was less than ideal. Today I brought my 3 year old daughter in for her first class. The front desk gal didn’t greet us, I had to walk up to her and ask where to go and what to do, even then she didn’t show us around she just pointed and said “over there in the corner”. When class started the teacher didn’t acknowledge my daughter at all which caused my daughter to not want to join the class. My daughter has been doing gymnastics and she was 18 months old and she loves it so this was very out of character for her. The teacher never said one word to her or encouraged her to come over and join the class. She just kept standing there. I then gave up trying to get my daughter to join the class and left. I let the front desk know that she didn’t want to join the class and that the teacher did not even acknowledge her presence to which they said “oh, okay….” we were offered a morning class with a different teacher, but we can only do afternoon classes. We will be finding another gym and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

My 3 boys wanted to try tumbling at this place. My 9 and 8 year old were in tumbling class and my 4 yr old in super tots. We did a trial classes. The older ones actually had a great time. Coach Jackson was amazing. I watched him actually teach my kids and correct their form. My boys were ecstatic and even had him come talk to me after class to make sure they could stay in his class. Super impressed with Coach Jackson and his eagerness to help the kids that were struggling. Not impressed with the super tots class. The coach was nice, but didn’t seem to enjoy what she was doing. The kids would each take turns on one thing then take a water break. It was a water break after everything. I feel this was a very wasteful way to spend the hour. There was little to no correction in regards to form and/or teaching. It was this is a trampoline, jump…this is a beam…walk on it. These are children that are little sponges. They want to learn and deserve to be taught. Nothing against teenage coaches, but of the ones I watched, I was not impressed. With the exception of coach Jackson and another female with long brown hair teaching girls on the bars. They were actually teaching and correcting their students. The rest were busy talking and not paying attention. I’m guessing they are cheap labor as opposed to an experienced adult coach. The gym is nice and big. The equipment seems to be in good shape. However, I would recommend this place take a real dive into how the coaches are portraying the facility. Families are paying for a service and it needs to be professionally delivered. Maybe try to avoid cramming several different age groups all in the same area.
