The best part about this gym is the manager Tyler. I'm often surprised by his general concern and dedication to the clients in the gym. He is literally always helping everyone achieve their goals. He goes above and beyond and makes being at the gym fun. I like the "no frills" aspect of the gym--just get in and do your workout (no long walk to the locker room and 20 min set up before you're actually working out).

Do NOT sign up for a membership with this gym! You will never be able to cancel, they will charge your account even after you try to cancel them, cancel following their “requirements,” call them repeatedly, call your bank and dispute their charges It will never end! After making my first attempt to cancel, they charged me double, renewed my account after I opted out of auto renewal, and then charged me 239 more dollars! I had to cancel my debit card and report them to my bank. Neither of these things worked to get them to stop either! Horrible experience. I was assured by the female manager at the time who signed me up That it was a very simple process to cancel. It was the worst experience I have ever had. Never used their facility in the two years that I was paying them and they felt a need to charge me 350 additional dollars for leaving. Thieves.

Joined it and tried to get a few minutes to have them show me the equipment. Tried to sign me up for 750.00 worth of training sessions. I walked out on that one. I went back a couple days later and asked if someone could give me a few minutes just to help me pick out the right equipment to rehab my new knee and I was told he had an appointment. 30 minutes later no appointment had come, and he was over slapping backs with his buddies in the free weight section versus helping me with the equipment that I’d asked. I immediately canceled my contract and joined Planet Fitness. All of the stuff they were trying to sell me at Workout Anytime comes with my package at planet fitness.

This facility is a serious health hazard: buried in dust, black mold, rust, stains, sweat, mites, hair and litter. Air purifier is always off so there is a strong smell of fungus and sweat everywhere. Restroom floors are notoriously flooded with the urine and often there is no soap and paper towel. Very often there are no towels to wipe down the equipment which is disgusting to touch because of the rust and other issues mentioned above. I have been going to Workout Anytime Alpharetta location for years. It used to be neat and maintained under the previous management. Unless fixed within a month from the date of this review I am inclined to file a Health Department complaint to address safety concerns I and other people have.
