I love the group classes at the YMCA! The instructors are all friendly, supportive, and great at what they do. It’s a fantastic place to stay active and be part of a welcoming community. Highly recommend!

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Place!!! This is the worst organization I’ve ever dealt with in Atlanta. I signed my family up for membership in October for private swim lessons and activities, but everything has been a disaster since then. The website doesn’t work, making it impossible to register for programs. Front desk staff are always “new” and unhelpful, and no one seems to know how to solve even basic issues. They changed to a new system in November, and I couldn’t log in despite multiple visits to the front desk. When I tried to cancel my membership, no one responded to my email, and staff at the front desk claimed they didn’t have the authority to process cancellations. Today, I came for my final private swim lesson, but the coach didn’t show up, and no one had their contact information. This level of mismanagement is unbelievable. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs. Four months of membership taught me a hard lesson: I will never come back here.

I love participating in programs and activities at the YMCA. It is so inclusive with something for everyone. It is family friendly and the staff are so helpful, kind, and professional. The facility is up to date with equipment and always clean and well maintained. I have been able to restore my knee and upper body strength using the programs and classes and I am truly appreciative of the support from the entire YMCA; especially the instructors.

I like the facility here. Clean gym, good assortment of equipment, and a nice view of the Greenway. Customer service at this location has been lacking as of late. The woman who was working the front desk early Tuesday morning was extremely condescending to myself and my boyfriend, who was my guest. We were unaware of the one time visit guest policy they have. And while we're fine with that, we understand rules are rules, the way she spoke to him was unprofessional and definitely gave off the vibe of being on a power trip. In contrast, the woman who usually works the desk early Mondays and Wednesdays is extremely friendly and helpful.

I have to say that Gwen at the front desk was so nice and extremely welcoming. Just that interaction at 5am made my day. I just used the pool for a few laps - I am from out of town and of course there was the Masters swimming in there like a bunch of torpedo's. BUT they called me over, gave me a lane ( I offered to join their train but they are 1:20 per 100 - Me, 1:25 so I would have slowed them down ). BUT again super hospitable and friendly... what a great experience and I cannot wait to get down there again. If they come up to Michigan they can swim with us anytime. 6 Stars all day long!!!
