I have been a member for almost a year. It is not a bad gym. The bathrooms could definitely be cleaner. My issue is the kids' center. My wife and I tried it. It is an empty room with like 4 toys that are broken. The woman in there never introduced herself, so I thought she was just a mom waiting. They have a ratio of 11 kids to 1 adult. Now keep in mind the kids vary in age from infants to school age. We felt so bad for even trying to put our kids in their We didn't finish our workout. I will say that the man that runs the front desk at 5 a.m. every day is a fantastic employee. He runs the desk, helps in the kids' room, and helps gym members. He definitely deserves a raise and a promotion.

UPDATE: I have come to the conclusion that if you want to work out consistently and have young children, then build your own home gym and just go to the real gym when you have someone to watch your child. Powerhouse was eventually a disappointment too - still not as bad as Esporta but yes. Sorry parents, gyms need to put more effort into childcare. This place deserves 0 stars and should close down. Just wanted to write this review to protect any other parents and their children from experiencing the same thing my 2 year old son and I did here, I still feel guilty for bringing my son here because of how awful the experience was. I signed up specifically because they offered kids club and my Crunch Fitness closed. My son did well at the Crunch Fitness daycare. They never had to call me to go get him and he was always happy because they seemed to actually care for the kids there. We were going there for over a year until it closed. At this gym, they left my son screaming on the floor and decided to call me 10 minutes after I dropped my son off to tell me he wasn’t doing well and I needed to come get him. I only went there a few times to see if it was just because my son wasn’t used to it but they called me every time to pick up my son about 10-30 minutes after dropping him off. The workers at the daycare were rude and acted like they didn’t want to be there. They should hire people that love kids and actually want to watch them or not have a kids club at all. This situation happened in January and caused me to cancel my membership. They made cancelling difficult, I was hung up on and had to wait for the manager because two of the front desk people didn’t know how to cancel my membership. The manager said they would cancel it but that I would have to pay a $25 fee in PERSON, even after my son and I’s difficulty with their staff. I pleaded to pay over the phone because I never wanted to step foot in there again and with more difficulty, they allowed me to pay over the phone. Although they said I was clear, the next couple of months I got charged for being a member there, I didn’t know because it was on my husband’s card and he brought it up to me later. I called the gym and they acted as if I didn’t cancel it until I searched through my emails to find the proof of cancellation three months prior. I had to send these emails to another manager and they finally cancelled and gave me a refund, with hesitation. Luckily after being traumatized at this Esporta, I found Powerhouse with a WAY WAY better kids club. I’ve been going here for about 7 months now, 5-6 days a week and have never had an issue with their kids club. My son gets excited to go and loves the ladies there. They play with the kids, do crafts, have games, and actually care about kids, all while keeping the parents informed and allowing peace of mind when working out. I have never been called in by them except to change a diaper and now that my son’s potty trained, to take him to the restroom if he needed. I have never been called in for him crying on the floor or not being taken care of like I was at this Esporta. All this to say parents, BEWARE. Find a gym that will actually give your children attention and compassion so you can have some peace of mind while getting that much needed work out in!

It's a shame this gym is the surviving gym after so many gym closures recently. This gym is dirty, too expensive, and tends to be over crowded. There are no fans throughout the gym to help with air circulation so the air often feels heavy even in a cold month like December. The fans on the machines themselves are crusted with dirt and dust and struggle to push air through. Machines aren't deep cleaned as frequently as they should be. Old dust and dirt is caked on all equipment. The cleanest appearing parts of each machine are the parts that regularly make contact with other people 🤢. The culture of the gym is alright, except that most people will not wipe down machines before or after use. The most prevalent culture at Esporta: 🦠🧫 It doesn't help that there aren't signs to remind people to do so or wipes within close proximity of all machines. Wipes are so seldom used that the first 2-3 you pull out will be dry. Some equipment could be replaced like the dumbbells with missing rubber chunks from the ends of them. I used to go to LAFitness in Hemet and it's the same story. Seems like the company that owns these chains have the same management style. Disappointing! The only reason I continue to go here is because it's cheaper for me: my crunch rates transferred to this gym so I'm a $20/mo.

After a year I decided if I have to rate it then 1 star it is. Should be 4, but the management team there is terrible...from state to region to local. Corporate is great but the gym staff particularly in training.sales is simply greedy and not interested in the client. Would exposé it but it's pointless...just know you can't trust Jose. Not one bit. He should be moved if they want people to restore.fsith into that gym. He poisoned the water.

Management pushes people to buy training program, and sold us a package with a fixed price within a period, then charge further monthly without telling us. After I cancel it, trainer Andrew don’t even return the trainer book which documented the content of sessions. I tried to call him to get my book back, and found out that he blocked my phone number. The way how they treat customers is terrible.
