24 Hour Fitness

Machines go out-of-order and remain non-functional for weeks at a time or longer - assuming they're ever fixed at all. A number of the machines that were part of my regular routine were simply removed and the rest were reshuffled to try to hide the hole. When I was in earlier this week, 4-5 machines were offline and several more had benches that were worn through like the seats of a '57 Chevy. Totally shredded. This week, I've twice seen someone try to unjam the Rear Delta machine and have the bars swing in and smack them in the head. (Yeah, they shouldn't have tried to unjam it that way, but it should have been repaired 9 months ago.) Weekday crowds are out of control... you WILL spend a significant part of your routine waiting for a machine. Users are normally good about rotating, but I've gotten some aggressive responses from groups of people who were standing around, chatting, filming, or doing 5-minute breaks between sets. I'd rather not deal with the threatening response, so I've had to stop asking at all. At least the staff is friendly. They all deserve 5 stars - even the janitor is a hoot. Regarding the "Response from the owner:" No, you are not working on it. It's been like this - and getting worse - for well over a year. At about the same time you wrote this, I was at the gym and yet another one of the stair climbers was out of order - bringing you down to ONE.

Gym sucks, if any machine isn’t working it will be out of commission for at least a month. Yellow caution tape on countless machines here, especially these two machines. They’ve been out of commission since Thanksgiving. Literally.

I was highly disappointed with all the BLACK MOLD in this place, 😕 it was hard to enjoy the work out equipment after my shower when I noticed a large amount of black mold all over the changing room, lockers and bathroom. I continued to walk around and noticed other mold in the weight lifting section 💪. I confronted staff at 24 hour fitness and they said they were aware of the BLACK MOLD and acted like it was OK. While almost there intire staff was on there phones nearly the whole time I was there, I recommend they clean the mold and they continued to take no action or interest for mold removal. I do not recommend going here until all the BLACK MOLD IS REMOVED

I have been training with Patty at Pacifica 24 hr Fitness for just a few sessions and I have been so impressed by her techniques and knowledge of many aspects of personal training. She is so passionate about what she does . It's obvious she thrives on the challenge to come up with a safe and fun personalized program that guarantees results. Our workouts are crazy fun and I look forward to meeting up with this Mighty Monster!

"24 Hour Fitness" > Closes at 8PM Seriously though it's a functional gym but equipment takes forever to fix once it breaks and the monthly membership fee is almost 50% more than it was 2 years ago. Also they are pretty quiet about charging you an extra ~$50 for annual membership ON TOP of the monthly membership fees.
