I have been to multiple Crunch’s in the Bay Area and I’ve called the Daly City location my home gym for about a year now, and it’s sad to say that recently the price to quality ratio has grown wider. With a recent 10% price increases for this location if you come for body building machines it is no longer worth the price of admissions. I have seen throughout the year Crunch management neglect the upkeep and quality of multiple machines for triceps, back, and bicep. For example the whole gym has one peck deck machine and durning peek hours some machines are impossible to use. While five new very expensive treadmills were installed. If you come to the gym just to run on a treadmill. This is the place for you, but if you’re looking for good quality, bodybuilding, machines or seat availability next to the free weights, you’re better off somewhere else.

Place smells clean and looks clean. Plenty of equipment and they fix it right away when broken. Staff are friendly and helpful. Trainers know what they're doing and they motivate you to achieve your goals, granting you put work on it. Big shout out to Anthony, Kirby and Andre for being part of my fitness journey.

I have a great time at their Zumba and Cardio Dance Blast classes. The instructors are friendly, down-to-earth, and they make the moves easy and fun to follow. It's a great place to focus on yourself and get moving. And since it's in the mall, it makes it feel similar to a Target run- you can squeeze it in to your week. And crunch!

It’s getting hard to get in a good work out lately. The gym is packed to where your standing long periods waiting for a machine. Then I try to work out on the room and it’s close for cleaning, ok fine I go to the steam and and it’s ALSO closed. It’s 2pm it’s crazy that they do all the cleaning now. Why can’t you guys do one thing at a time. Be considerate for people who can only come at this time. To say front desk people aren’t friendly. The lady at the front is always having attitude to anything you ask her. For the price they charge I’d expect better customer service and more reliability on workout rooms/steam room.

General manager was the worst person I have ever worked with. He was pushy to get my card info over text to get me to sign up. But when I needed help with my account I got stupid excuses like the printer doesn't work, or he sends me to workout saying he'll have the docs ready after. When I am done he "left for the day". Even after signing the documents needed for the rate adjustment we agreed on, I still got charged with the higher rate. That is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced in my life. How could one say things will get done, have you sign an official document and not push through with it. "Corporate didn't process the request". It was too many headaches at this point that I am certain I will NEVER sign up for another Crunch gym again. Thank you Mervyn for making me hate Crunch as a corporation so much. And if it isn't obvious, I brought my business somewhere else. Yessica was more helpful tho.
