The gym equipment is average at best. They could defiantly use some better machines. The staff is friendly and the gym is typically pretty clean. They bathrooms are gross! There is no ventilation in them and it just smells like you sitting in an out house all the time. The main issue with this gym is the ownership. They don't give a shit about the business or the clients. When things break it takes forever to get them fixed. Why not have spare parts on hand? You know pulleys and cables are constantly going to wear out and break. You should have 10 spare parts of all the wear and tear items in stock at all times. Its unacceptable to take a month to fix a machine. That should be done the same day in most instances. The sauna broke two months ago and they haven't done anything to fix it. They don't even have any time line on when it will be fixed. This is your business!!!!! Try caring about something besides your bottom line. Client have been complaining for two months and nobody cares. But they manage to charge my credit card on time every month.

I really love this place! I just wish they had an inbody scanner.... Seriously though I have been looking for a gym since I moved here from San Jose and I love it. It's clean and the staff is amazing. Equipment is in great condition. Appreciate this place.

Gym amenities are decent - same as other Golds locations I frequent regularly. However the management here is subpar. My vehicle, parked right in front of the cameras, was hit by another member while parked and unoccupied, and the manager Liz was witness and even helped to look for me and gave me a verbal statement for over 15 minutes on the phone of what occurred. After the party who hit my car denied doing damage - despite ample evidence it was him - the manager, Liz, refused to give a written statement to me, my insurance company, or the Gilroy Police Department regarding what she witnessed. Said she “didn’t want to be involved”… yet on the day of the incident she was more than willing to be involved enough to walk him around to look for me and speak with me on the phone for 15+ minutes. When it came to documenting the incident - “Golds is not responsible”. I wasn’t trying to hold her or Golds responsible for anything, just needed her to put in writing her 15 minute phone call to me, she was the main witness… Hope no one gets injured, property damage, or theft here - management (Liz) will just say “I’m just so busy” and dodge emails and calls for months if you need their help. I even asked her in person to email me a quick paragraph of what she witnessed and she “was just too busy”. (Upper management said it was up to her to cooperate or not with what occurred. and she REFUSED). SMH. Embarrassing for a “business”.

This gym is terrible. The manager Liz was super unprofessional, she stated that instead of properly up keeping the gym that I could just cancel my membership if I’m unhappy. I voiced my opinion on the many issues the gym had and was met with hostility and criticism. Never have I met a manager who did little to nothing for her business.

Friendly staff, always greet you as you come in. Signed up for PT with Diana, she is amazing. Very helpful, and encouraging. She explains how to use the machines and do the exercises. She never let me give up, she believed in me even when I didn't. Will definitely sign up for more personal training sessions with her. She is truly the best, I know I will reach my goals with her help.
