I recently went to this CorePower location and I was really excited to try out their studio. I wanted to like this place; however, I have had two instances that made me feel that it is not for me. First, I went to the class on Saturday to try it out. When I arrived, there were firetrucks and I was waiting outside with a group of other people. We waited outside for 20 mins, waiting for someone to come notify us about what was happening. The firemen eventually came out and let us know that everything was okay. I waited another 5 mins and still no one had come out, so I decided it was time to leave. Then, I see the girl who works there in her car starting to back up and leave. It was not until we walked up to the car we were informed that our class was canceled. I thought this was a little weird because she could have come and told us instead of leaving. Okay, not a problem. I understand things happen. The second time around, I decided to give it another shot yesterday. I understood this class would have low heat, considering they are having issues with their heating system. Again, not a big deal. We started the class and the instructor was really nice. However, she kept moving around, messing with the blinds, going over to her phone, changing the music, changing the temperature, or changing the volume of the music. It was kind of frustrating having to turn constantly to look for her in order to see what the next exercise was going to be. The workout was mediocre at best. Overall, I will not be back.

I was super excited about this location because it is super close to me I’ve been looking for a new studio. I had my first class this week and I LOVED it and enjoyed the instructor. I like to go to yoga at least 3 times a week if I can. On my first week trial I wanted to get as many classes as I could, to really know if this studio would be for me. I pulled up 15 minutes early as requested, there were no parking spots. I waited the 15 minutes and by the time class started there were still no parking spots. I tried to call the studio for any suggestions and their “call center” was closed. Couldn’t find anything online about parking other than “55 spots available” there is no way that tiny parking lot has 55 spots. Though non the less, I wasn’t able to go to yoga tonight and I was super excited. I do not think this location is going to be for me because if this reason, which is disappointing because it is the most convenient. I understand it is not the staff’s fault there was no parking, but at least have a phone number I can call to say I will be past their requested arrival time and figure out another option :(

My girlfriend and I recently started attending classes at Khali and are excited to become regular attendees over the next few months. The staff has been welcoming and I love the atmosphere they've created. The Vinyasa classes have been a great workout, but also motivational and cause for reflection. I've enjoyed the technology free policy and feel that everyone is fully present during sessions.

Khali is amazing! I have not done yoga in over five years, so tiptoeing back into it. My experience so far has been amazing. At this time, I think I’ve done 6 classes, so my review is legit. Lol I have told a couple of my friends, coworkers, and neighbors about this place. I’ve even brought my boyfriend with me to a deep stretch class. He enjoyed himself as well. Amazing aesthetic and atmosphere. The staff are consistently welcoming and kind. Non- judgmental atmosphere as well. 5 stars from me.

I don’t even know where to begin with my review. This is my 100% my happy place. The environment is so welcoming, diverse and uplifting. The yoga classes and instructors are consistent but not routine enough to get bored. I feel safe and cared for anytime I walk into Khali. I love that the yoga space is a technology free zone, it allows me to fully live in the moment. The instructors encourage you to show up as the best version of yourself and push you to give full effort. There are different ceremonies, events and meditations offered in addition to vinyasa and deep stretch. Bring your own mat & towel as there is a charge if you need to rent either item. I am thankful and grateful this place exists. Lots of love and thank you for being a safe space. ❤️ (ps I have taken over 100 classes here)

Khali Yoga has been an amazing experience so far! I have done 6 classes of Hot Vinyasa and the classes have been great. They do a great job making it feel like a community, judgement free, and it is one of the more affordable places in CLT!

I have never been so immediately captivated by a yoga studio: the ambience, the community, the practice. You are walking into a place where you know you are welcomed in your true form and are only expected to show up as you can. I wasn't sure of what to expect from a music-free studio, given how many practices do utilize music. However, I found it made me one with my practice AND with the people around me -- feeding off their energy and breath. On top of all of this, I think my favorite part of class is the gentle assistance that deepens your strength or brings you into the right position. In love with this place!

I absolutely love this gem of a place. I really appreciate the unique vibes of non-corporate yoga studios. Okra provides such an expansive and beautiful variety of classes and the massage/bodywork offerings can't be beat. The practitioners here are top notch. I highly recommend Logan if you are looking for bodywork massage. I usually do not go for male practitioners in anything dealing with my female body, but I took a blind chance and am now a repeat client. Logan knows a LOT about the body-mind connection. What I look for in a masseuse is someone that knows and incorporates the entirety of the human experience because it is an energy exchange. He offers great support to truly move energy beyond the physical level and when dealing with the physical body he has a lot of awareness and strength to release tension. I am grateful to be a part of this community!

This was my first yoga classs here. I think the studio is fantastic! It is cozy, and has a relaxed vibe. I felt a sense of peace being there, and Grace’s class was amazing! I give 4 stars because after class I wanted to speak to someone about buying a class pass and learn more about what they offer. There was no one working at the desk today to offer help. I thought that was really odd not to have desk staff available. Anyway, that was super disappointing as I have been wanting to attend for a while, and just couldn’t get motivated or inspired. Finally, today I decided…I’m going to do this for me! I’m going to yoga! I felt great after class and excited to join, then walked away a bit deflated.

This studio is amazing, I’ve evacuated from Hurricane Helene and they are offering us free classes. I will never forget the compassion of this community, the management, teachers and students. I have been teaching yoga and meditation internationally for a over decade- Wendy is one of the most inspiring, thoughtful and creative humans, she is magic. Thank you Wendy and Okra 🫶

I really enjoyed Bob and Diana's Line Dancing at Thrive Yoga & Fitness, Cresswind Wesley Chapel. I'm new to line dancing so I appreciated Bob and Diana's teaching style as well as both of them answering my questions when I made mistakes. Thanks also for sending me the song names and videos so I can practice at home! That's very helpful. I look forward to your next class!

I love this class! I feel stretched and loosened up all over. Kimberly said we would use every muscle and we did. Her directions were clear and she gave us modifications to try if we felt we needed them. The exercises were easy to do, I could feel the stretch and had no muscle soreness afterwards. I highly recommend this class to everyone who wants to increase their flexibility.

I had my first yoga class with Roxy and it was a wonderful experience. As a beginner, I felt completely comfortable and welcomed. Roxy was incredibly patient and instructions were very clear, making it easy to follow along and understand the poses. The atmosphere was relaxing and encouraging, which helped me feel more confident and truly enjoy the practice. I would definitely recommend her classes to anyone looking to start yoga or improve their practice. I can't wait to come back for my next class!

Chris is a wonderful person and instructor. The moment my fiance and I walk in, we feel at peace and comfortable. The atmosphere is incredible. He also has the perfect voice. Reminding us to be intentional about our breath. Providing modifications and extra binds for advancements. His music choice is also very intentional. We have only done the Restore class so far but excited to try more. We love Chris! We will be getting a membership very soon.

The yoga instructors in this studio loves teaching yoga. They will go to the full extent to help you with your journey and correct your poses/postures. I’ve been with the Ballantyne Studio for over a month now and I have to say that I’ve always had a pleasant time every visit. I love all of the yoga instructors there. They are all equally great depending on what you are looking for. If you are looking for just a relaxing flow I’ll go to Traci, Roxanne and Monika’s classes. If you are looking for something really intense I love Erin, Susan, Katie and Chris. I haven’t tried it with the other instructors in the studio because I can only do after 6pm classes but I know they are amazing as well.

Atha yoga classes, especially the Hot 26 are amazing. It’s so much more than just a yoga class. It’s so good not only for your body, but your mind and spirit. I have not experienced this same feeling and approach at any other yoga class. It’s always mainly about the fitness. But here I came out with a different state emotionally every time. My favorite teacher is Olga, she’s just an amazing guide that immerses you smoothly and gently and you definitely feel how genuinely she cares about each class she teaches. Every time I can make a class with Olga it is a win in my day. What a great joy and gift!

I came for Hot Yoga at 7:15 am with Ana. I am a yoga teacher myself and I’ve only done two other hot yoga classes in my lifetime. I’m 61 years old and I’ve been practicing for maybe 10 years. This class was well instructed from a sense of feeling supported in my anatomy my spirit, my breath, the sequencing was stellar, it allowed me to find my way to strength, stability and ease. The studio itself was welcoming. It had a beautiful tea circle set up so you could just sit after class and integrate the studio is large plenty of room highly recommended.
