Overall: 4.5 stars — I found my experience at YTX to be beneficial considering their location and hours of operation. While the high-traffic hallways full of yoga students can sometimes crowd the small space and might not be for everyone, those seeking a unique and invigorating approach for a quick red light therapy session or cold plunge may find it worthwhile. Just be sure to book ahead using their app so the sauna is hot and ready when you arrive.

I was excited to join YTX when they were on Colorado street - but they relocated to a smaller space and it just isn’t working. It just seems that every class I attend is tightly packed in and people are having to get booted or do a lot of shuffling to fit. I’m not sure what the fix is but this new environment is claustrophobic & harder to park at, making it difficult to justify the cost. Trying to stay positive but if it continues I may have to shop around elsewhere. I also feel some instructors are much better at their job than others (actually taking the time to instruct during the workouts rather than giving out a list of exercises and waiting for us to finish)

YTX is the greatest yoga studio in Austin by far! I moved to Leander recently, but I still make the commute because it’s just that worth it! The location is right in the heart of downtown Austin. The studio is always so clean, relaxing, and aesthetic. The instructors are very professional, skilled, and gifted in their practices. The community has such great energy. I love the variety of classes that they offer, fitting for each level and mood for your practice. Be prepared to sweat out all of the toxins! The juice bar inside is so convenient for after class to rehydrate and nourish. The overall experience is why I keep coming back! Thank you for creating such a lovely space for fellow Austin yogis to practice what they love!

The new studio is really rough, and it’s sad that you are losing some of the best teachers. I still am trying to go here and give it benefit of doubt but it’s continuously frustrating and the new studios really sucks and classes are super crowded and the room isn’t hot. The hallways are extremely crowded and it just seems like nothing ever works. The way you reopened and operated as a business was a big let down. Probably going to have to switch studios soon but not really sure where is better.

Fantastic studio - I enjoyed the unique Yogic Weight Training class (it was an evening THAW class), which was a great workout! Very friendly staff, too! I look forward to taking more classes here when I visit Austin again!

First class at the Cesar Chavez location. I did the 5:30 with Leslie from Alabama. She was amazing. She knew almost everyone's name. Highly recommend. I'm waaay out of practice and pretty sure I was the oldest on the floor. I felt included and welcomed and had a great time. Will definitely go back.

Wow! I could not be more enthused about this place. I had a class with Thor (Victoria) and she did such an excellent job at visually showing us what to do while verbally keeping the flow of the class fluid. The option to either get a membership, or simply take donation-based classes is so convenient, and even with a membership you don’t technically have to commit as you can cancel at any time. It is very reasonably priced, and I already signed up for unlimited classes. I felt so rejuvenated even just after one. Come take a class here, you will not be disappointed. Mats are available for buying or renting, there is a cold water fountain available and two gender neutral restrooms. It is conveniently located off of 35. My only complaint would be the parking situation as there are not many spots available behind the building, the rest is street parking only. Luckily I always arrive early enough to not have an issue. Go check it out!

Lexie is the kindest soul I’ve met in a long time and a wonderful instructor. To be quite honest I had no loyalty to a specific studio but she’s what keeps me coming back. Super helpful, kind, and her energy is infectious, it radiates throughout the studio and you can tell she truly cares. Some days I walk in like a zombie but I leave feeling like a brand new person. Upon leaving colors are brighter, my anxiety about whatever it may be for the day is gone, and I exit the studio into a “new day” even though it’s already that new day. 10/10 recommended if you’re looking for more than just “a class”.

I love Aly! I wished she taught regularly at Orchard! She provides and promotes such a welcoming atmosphere where experience levels may vary, although everyone can get in on the fun. It’s a high energy rollercoaster once started and she gives you different options based on skill level. She always has a smile and gives out so much love and graceful energy. The best hot yoga / workout class I’ve ever been too!

I have been coming to Black Swan for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. Not only do I love it, I need it. I deal with a lot of stress and anxiety and adding Black Swan to my (almost) daily life has helped me tremendously. Not only do I love the flows/onnit classes and to get a good workout, the instructors may be the best part of Black Swan. I hope they know the difference they make in my life and other peoples lives. They bring so much peace and joy to my life. They are truly inspiring and the reason I continue to show up. Cheers to the hiring department, you have some really amazing, motivating, raw, REAL, down to earth people working here and I couldn't be more thankful! Black Swan is truly a special place and I am so happy it is becoming part of my lifestyle!! Thank you Black Swan!!!

I took Cecelia’s class for the first time this morning at 7:30 and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect flow for a Saturday wake up class. some standing poses, some twists, and a great core section in the middle. I can’t wait to take her classes from here on out, I’ll be joining the studio now because of her!

I left my necklace and the staff graciously held it for me to pick it up. When I came to pick it up, the employee couldn't access the locked drawer where my necklace was supposed to be stored. They also were unwillingly to ask for assistance, while class was in session. As an out of town attendee, with a flight to catch, I asked them to make an exception. As being delayed 30 minutes would cause me to miss my flight.

Overall great experience with the classes and teachers. **What I really didn’t like: the fees they charge to pause to cancel membership really turned me off and might not rejoin because of. I believe everyone’s workout experience is different. If I need to take a break, or if it’s just not working for me, I don’t think I need to be killed in fees to pause or cancel. It felt very corporate planet fitness gym vibes instead of considerate yoga studio energy. I am moving locally and needed to take a 6 month break and was fully expecting to re join. Other places like Barry’s and solid core do not do this.

Hands down the best yoga studio in the world. My wife and I love these classes, especially the 45 min yoga sculpt class. I find these classes to be a great workout for my body and mind. The thoughtful mindfulness that each of the very talented instructors inject into each class is really beautiful. This location has recently been renovated and parking can be a bit hard to find in the garage. I would recommend the street parking on 4th street, or close to Merit coffee. If all else fails, there’s always the Whole Foods up the street.

So after 6 months at this gym, I felt it was finally time to do a review. I have two more weeks and then I will be moving on to another gym and atmosphere. Now, I am quite particular about gyms, I know this about myself and the classes here were decent so take this as you will. I felt like I got a workout when I took them. The convenience to my house - exceptional. It’s the only reason I’ve lasted this long at TruFusion. Waking up 5 minutes before a class and being able to make it… priceless. Now… the not so good. This gym is very dangerous for your ears and your nervous system. The teachers do not give you a warning before switching the lights during class (they switch light colors like 10 times a class… why? I don’t know…) and I’ve had to leave in the middle of classes because the music was too loud. To the point that I heard ringing for the rest of the day in my ear drums. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not chancing having permanent hearing loss for a workout. I’ve been to many other gyms before and each teacher usually has their own musical style, which is great. You can choose the vibe you want, but that was not the case at this gym. It seemed like every teacher was playing top 40 remix songs that umm… I’m gonna this as nicely as I can… they were not my vibe. It was almost every single class that I took too. No diversity in music, genre. Anything. It almost seemed like the teachers had to pick songs from a specific TruFusion approved music playlist. I’m sure this gym is great for some people but it wasn’t for me. I felt like I was in a nightclub at 7am and it stressed me out for the rest of the day. So please… TruFusion, if you read this… be more careful about how loud you play music in classes and give more warning when lights change. This is super deregulating to the nervous system and can have permanent effects on people who are sensitive.

I LOVE this studio! The variety of classes is so great! I no longer need several memberships to different studios to get a nice mix of workouts. The atmosphere is great, the music is always fun, the instructors are great. Thank you for opening a studio in S Austin 🙌🏼

Trufusion has been the most fulfilling fitness experience of my lifetime, both physically and spiritually. The variety of the classes combined with the hominess of the studio is what got me in the door, and oh what a community that got me to stay. The instructors are the absolute top tier out there in Austin. They are embodied, kind, and fun. For yoga, I recommend Sarah and Tennessee. For barre, I recommend Amanda, Theresa (your rump will never look better with her booty workouts!), Macey, and Danielle. For pilates, Amanda and Raquel are GOAT. I don't take a lot of the kettle bell classes, but when I do, Stephanie's Kettle Booty is so fun and accessible! I know they had low attendance at the TRX classes, but I really wish they'd bring back one in the morning because they were so fun. I scrimp and save my pennies every month to afford this place, and it's absolutely worth it. I would love it if they could reduce the unlimited membership for those who are low income. At Trufusion, you're family, and I can't imagine being anywhere else.

Came in for a fire & ice session. They offer both infrared and traditional saunas so make sure to be specific when booking if you have a preference. The center has a really cool vibe with colorful lighting and artwork. They also offer yoga classes, breathwork, and sound healing. Looking forward to trying a class on my next visit. Also, I highly recommend adding a float to your session which is offered at True Rest the business attached to theirs. Can’t wait to come back!

Done a few things at this spot! I’ve tried the Yoga for the Nervous System w/ Dr. Hope and a sound bath with Jennifer. Both were amazing but I especially love Dr. Hopes class. I recommend to anyone who wants a very slow paced yoga that also allows you the opportunity to learn more about your nervous system. I’ve had a massage here with Quinn. I loved it. The facilities are nice and the staff is accommodating. Definitely check it out if you’re thinking about it

I've been a committed member of Black Swan for nearly 2 years and feel it's time to express my appreciation through a review. For those new to yoga, entering a studio can be daunting, but Black Swan is the perfect place for beginners. They go out of their way to ensure everyone feels seen, comfortable, and enjoys their experience. I highly recommend giving it a try. To the owners and teachers at Black Swan, thank you for everything. I've been coming five times a week for the past two years and it never loses its appeal. I genuinely cherish this community. My only suggestion would be to implement mat markers, as mats tend to spread out and it can be difficult to find a comfortable space. I adore BSY and look forward to continuing my journey with you. P.S. Abby Fine is an exceptional teacher. Her passion and love for yoga shine through beautifully.

I really like BSYoga! I love that it's affordable (donation based) and so beginner friendly!! Their instructors are really kind and friendly! This is exactly what I've been looking for to exercise and quit my sedentary lifestyle! I go as often as I can, without much worry since there's no contract commitment. Def worth a try! ***I also like that you can go to any location, any day! The only thing I wish was different is how they collect the donations if you drop in. It can be a bit embarrassing to say out loud, in front of everyone, how much you can donate, especially when you can't donate as much as others. I would go probably 3x as often if I didn't have to say my donation out loud, but I can't afford to as I feel embarrassed in the current model.

This review is for the Westgate South Austin location, it is located next to a prosthetics clinic for amputees which have 3 designated parking spots of which patrons of this yoga studio location carelessly and selfishly continue to park in these parking spots. I have emailed black swan yoga about this issue but they don’t find it necessary to monitor that their students do not park in these parking spots or have patrons who are simply too self centered and privileged to leave these parking spots available for amputees.

Flow Yoga is everything you want in a yoga studio/community. I am so grateful I found them! The classes are transformative and healing, every single one! And the instructors are encouraging and soothing, challenging and nurturing. I feel like I'm floating when I walk out of each class.
