I observed part of a class and liked how the staff worked with the kids. I recommended it to my brother for my nephew. He has been for about a month now. I got to meet Sensei Veader and am reassured in my choice. He has a firm yet gentle way with the kids. They learn respect along with martial arts. -Chris R.

My brothers Michael Matt and I used to go to Sensei Mike's dojo on Belair rd when we were kids (I'm using my husband's account) sensei Mike was a great teacher and a very nice man I think if anybody's kids are to learn martial arts it would be through him when my daughter is old enough I may enroll her. He would always call me MEEgan and it made me so mad. But anyway, this place is your place 😁

Thia is the Dojo that you and your kids should attend. They are a tradional Japanese Dojo that teaches the old ways of Judo, Japanese Jujitsu, and MMA fighting. They make sure the students are completely streached and warmed up before the lessons begin. So if you are looking to learn Judo and Jujitsu for self-defense or for competeing in Judo tournaments or you want to become the next mma fighter in the UFC, give these guys a try. They have like over 60 years experience between them in martial arts discipleship.

Really wanted to love it but not at all... Begins with a rude middle aged woman receptionist My child has done soccer, basketball and swim here Only thing we liked was soccer and that's bc of one Coach only Seems like they hire whoever Basketball was such a disapointment- my son loves basketball and this completely discouraged him. Coaches were late every single session, would walk out on court then stand and watch parents bouncing ball with kids for 5 more minutes, until they decide to start session 15 minutes late. Not sure they knew how to work with little kids bc they lined they up in ONE line (6/7 yr olds) and by the time they went throigh a 'drill' some kids would be pushed, shoved, crying bc they were bored waiting for their turn. I've been a coach, a player, a teacher. You don't line up 15 First Graders (when there are 3 'coaches' standing there) only one Coach ever really engaged with the kids There was no fundamentals taught, no one on one instruction Would just have them run up and down the court for 20 mins at the end, I know 3 people who stopped showing up after 2 classes, sad for the kids. Swim instructor was an overweight guy that wore a woman's bathing suit... To my 5 year olds session in a pool - express yourself but not to a 5 year olds swim session for a guy with a bulge to be wearing a woman's bathing suit and my son wondering why... Uncomfortable and unnecessary Only positive is that we loved Coach Felix for soccer but unfortunately my son outgrew his age group Love the concept of Coppermine but lacks serious coaches, structure and organization and kind workers

My 3 year old son loves gymnastics class here. He pretty much talks about it all day everyday. His instructor Mr Anthony is the best, super animated and fun to keep the kids excited.

The owner alex hides behind everyone and never addresses any problems. He allows his staff to treat customers anyway they want without any regard. If your kids are on a club team I suggest you switch them because your child is not judged on skills. Your daughter is put on a team on whether the coaches like you and your family. Deeann the head of the lacrosse club does not even speak to others. In fact my daughter has been a part of Coppermine since she was 4 years old and at 13 she still did not know my daughters name. I would never support this program, it is a complete joke and instead of communicating with the parents they will send you an email. They are famous for hiding behind their emails. Coppermine preaches to parents that it’s about having fun and learning the sport but it not. It’s all about winning. You will find many parents out there that are discussed by their business model and I will post an email that was sent to our family from the owner so that you can determine whether or not Coppermine is the right program for you.

I have been working out at Coppermine CrossFit for about 1.5 years and have loved every minute of it. This is the first place to both keep me motivated and given me such great gains. The coaches are very knowledgeable and put a lot of emphasis on doing the movements correctly before increasing the weight. They also take the time to get to know you and help you alone your "journey". The best part about the Coppermine CrossFit is the people and the experience. The box (CF terminology for a gym) is a good mix of men and women both young and old. Everyone is always friendly and takes the time to encourage you during the workouts. If you are new to CrossFit or an old pro this is certainly a place to check out.

Recently,I was invited to join my family for a day at their pool!As a Grandma,It was a great chance to enjoy my G.kids frolic in the water!Actually, they are competent swimmers, too! When lunch time arrived,I chose a hot dog & fries(both were delicious)!I got a chance to float around & have a relaxing visit w/the adults! The life guards were vigilant & the whole area was clean! What an awesome Saturday at the neighborhood pool!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Meadowbrook Swim Club, which was recently acquired by Coppermine. Coppermine is renowned for their excellent customer care, but it seems this standard hasn't been extended to the Meadowbrook staff, especially the receptionists. I've had multiple unpleasant encounters with the receptionists when calling to ask simple questions, most recently this morning. Their responses have been consistently rude and unhelpful, particularly regarding the online portal, which has been a source of constant frustration for me. In 2024, there's no excuse for having such an outdated and user-unfriendly portal. This morning, I called to enroll my son in a summer swim class and was met with yet another curt response. Despite these ongoing issues, we continue to attend Meadowbrook Swim Club due to its convenient location. However, I strongly believe Coppermine needs to address this immediately. They should train the Meadowbrook staff on proper customer service to prevent their reputation from being tarnished.

Love the youth swim lessons, instructors and how the programs are led. I always recommend them for swim lessons! Such a great place in Baltimore. I only wish there was as much care to the facilities as the programs. The bathrooms, floors, glass door windows could use a major clean up (dust, dirty floors, dirty glass). I am not sure if they have a cleaning company but they definitely need to improve in this as I always notice it when we are here weekly.

Instructors are absolutely wonderful and great but powerless against an administration (some front desk staff) that is inefficient, rude, passive aggressive, and very biased, discriminatory. My kid is always on time and always the first to show up but always gets called the last - they intentionally have missed calling out my kid on several occasions even though the kids name is at the top of their list for each lesson. I will be filing a report with the BBB and the state department for also violating other health and safety standards. Facilities are filthy and disgusting.

It's got a lot of character, with all the history. So it's not the most modern fancy club, but a very comfortable place that has a great pool and hot tub. It's an Olympic 50 meter pool where Mike Phelps grew up swimming, and other Olympic swimmers trained here.

Excellent gym, fantastic atmosphere, and dedicated coaches! I've had the privilege of collaborating with the Agoge Project for a few years, witnessing the impact of their program and the growth of their students. They have a commendable mission in the Baltimore community, and their staff - including Coach MJ, Coach Ore, Coach Dennis, and Coach Chiles - truly care about their students' success in every facet of life. If you're looking for boxing or jiu-jitsu in Baltimore, this is the place to be.

I FINALLY made the Saturday dance/fitness class w Coach Ore and WOW! It's an array of dances centered around afrobeats/new school/ & old school. There were even upbeat line dances! I feel like I worked EVERY muscle in my body & it was only an hour AND enjoyable 😌. I had such an amazing time that I told Coach Ore I had all intentions of not only leaving a review, but coming back whenever my schedule permits. 👌🏽 Definitely recommended 👌🏽

Coach Childs is an outstanding coach. He takes his time with the boys and ensures that they understand what they are doing. The program that he has is very well rounded. He doesn't only focus on boxing, he focuses on education of his students. I recommend this gym......Continue to flourish Coach Childs

We've been coming to Cadet for several years. My daughter loves the instructors she met a long her journey from master Raju, master Frantz, Nico, Milan, Dreemur, Evains and several more. Also the support staff have been helpful throughout our journey with them. We have used them for after school programs and evening/weekend classes.

Cadet martial arts is a traditional Taekwondo learning experience with the non traditional experience needed for children and adults in today's environment. Discipline, respect, and commitment are what I noticed as a student myself and a parent of 3 students who have trained here. It became an addition to my home. They became family. It truly is a place to children learn to focus their attention on an objective. Kids build long lasting friendships and bonds with their peers. And another thing, all students learn a competitiveness that is actually beneficial for developing children. Not unnecessary aggression. But a focused desire to achieve ones potential.

I trained with PSP for nearly 2 years preparing for a pro wrestling training camp as well as general fitness and I could not recommend them enough! They have the best trainers I have ever worked along side and all the equipment for whatever sport or fitness goals you have. The improvement I have showed was drastic with increases in strength, speed, and all around athleticism! If you are looking to grow in the gym then check out PSP it will be worth it!

The weight room is way to small for a university weight room. There are only 8 squat racks and 4 independent benches. The place is always packed and you can never get a solid workout in.

This gym is sufficient for my needs. Nice smell and atmosphere. People are sociable and are willing to help you. Though there are peak hours where you will struggle to get the bench or squat rack. Go at off hours if possible.
