I’ve been going to TruFit for a year and a half, starting at the Madison location then moving to Antioch when I had to relocate. At first the gym was great, it’s just like a planet fitness in terms of style of equipment. It has all the equipment you need just like a normal commercial gym. I never personally needed to work with a trainer from this gym, but they do have great attitudes and I see them working with other people all the time. I love the free weight section and the deadlift area. The Evolt body scan machine is great and has helped me the last year in recomping my body. This review is so low because of how unsafe I feel this gym is in terms of cleanliness. There is mold everywhere! I am having to switch gyms because I don’t even feel like I should even be breathing in the air inside of this TruFit since there is so much mold. It is even caching the walls and causing parts of the ceiling to collapse. The staff and manager is aware, and all that has been done so far from our perspective is that they have added dehumidifiers to many of the rooms. This is not a big enough change to actually take care of the issue, as mold is still continuing to grow on the walls. There are issues with the air conditioning which definitely contribute to the mold growth. If it is hot outside then it is hot inside, if it is cold outside then it is VERY cold inside. I have ran into the issue in the women’s bathroom where every single stall is out of toilet paper at the same time. Many times I will go to wipe down my equipment I was using only to run into the issue of the cleaner bottle being empty or absent. What sucks is that since this is a commercial gym most of these reviews will barely get acknowledged. I hope that this gym is able to handle the cleanliness issue soon, because then it would be great!

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Steven, and I must say, his customer service was outstanding. He was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and patient. Steven went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and that I had a great experience. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to helping customers and making them feel valued. Thank you, Steven, for your excellent support!

A utter lack of care describes TruFit -Antioch. This post stems from the following; upkeep, cleanliness, and concern for both its patrons and employees. This location has been opened for two years now and has a steady daily flow of gym users and machine downtime is inevitable, however weeks on weeks or in some instances months on months is totally unacceptable. Empty machine cleaner or out of service bathroom stalls, urinals, etc. is the norm not the exception. If what I've described thus far doesn't speak to this location's' level of commitment you can anticipate the temperature inside to coincide with what's going on outside. If it's hot during the warmer months, you can expect the AC to be out on the inside. If it's raining, you can expect to see the dozen or so rain buckets positioned throughout the gym. Here we are in January and the temperature outside is in the teens and for the past week guess what is not working... the heat. To see the front desk employees having to use two space heaters, the front doors covered in ice , or gym users seeing their breath as the exercise, what say you TruFit-Antioch? The fact that the thermostat read 47° meant i could not stay quiet anymore. All companies are experiencing employee shortages so the turnaround is no longer expected in a day or so but allowing a week AT times is understandable but this feels like a location that has no desire to invest in itself... I patronage this location due to its close proximity of my home, however I could save my monthly dues and simply workout outside because that's exactly what you should expect from here ( BTW I could not give less than one star or else I could not have submitted this post).

**Edit to add and take a star away. 12/17/2024 The ladies gym has mold!!! Come on man. Plus no toilet paper in the girls restroom. We can't just shake it off like dudes do!! Manager was a butt. I told her about it and all she said was thank you for letting me know I'll take pictures. I mean I understand you can't do anything else about it, but can she be professional about it. Kids place also has it. As much as I love the trainers, I still have to complain. The keep up of the gym is horrible. I did dance fitness and almost fell due to slippery floor all around. All the people in tried to clean it up with paper towels. And either way sometimes there are not enough paper towels or toilet paper. Some equipment need replacement. We have also been doing some workouts in a very hot room almost feeling like a sauna. Water fountain didn't work for a while, good thing about that though was that they gave us a water bottle for free. If I could give five stars to all the trainers that would be awesome. They have given me the confidence I needed and push me when I feel like I can't. In reality they are the only reason why I keep going to this gym. But I am on a verge of looking around for other gyms with awesome coaches as well, so I can have a 5 and 5 stars on both facility and coaches. And if you are the owner reading this, please make sure to update some stuff at least. The customers are paying you, without them/us, you would not have this business. So listen to your customers, appreciate them in some kind of way!

The gym is great, very spacious and good quality equipment. However, this Antioch location, house keeping is NOT that great. There is always trash in the parking lot and in front of entrance. Inside the gym the equipment is always all over the place, nobody cares to re-rack weights. Otherwise, i would still recommend.

As a Nashville native and avid gym goer, I’ve trained at a ton of gyms and you’re not going to find a better one than Fitness 1440 on Metroplex in S Nashville. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and motivating trainers, 2 floors of weights, machines, pool, dry and wet sauna, variety of classes and open 24/7. I haven’t mentioned the price bc you can’t beat it for all you get. Promise ya that. I highly recommend Fitness 1440 for every level of fitness out there. A+++

The pictures on the website look so nice haha and when I walked in , it looked nothing like it. But I understand you have to start somewhere . I enjoyed my time but the people at this gym have no gym etiquette . It’s so bad . I needed a machine and requested to use it after they were done . All they did is stand on the machine and talk for a whole hour. I was half way through my exercise and their friends took it after . This gym is not meant for more than 50 people . I didn’t even finish my 3 day trial. I’ve also heard horrible things about their memberships. This gym is not worth more than 15 bucks a month . Just go to Crunch.

Unprofessional Experience While Cancelling My Membership I recently attempted to cancel my membership at 1440 and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The front desk employees were unprofessional, and seemed indifferent to my request. Rather than assisting me with the process, I was met with impatience and a lack of empathy. I understand that cancellations can sometimes be a hassle, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. Instead of providing clear instructions or offering any assistance, I felt dismissed and brushed off. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect, but unfortunately, that was not the case during this interaction. It’s disappointing to see that such behavior was coming from a staff that represents the gym. I hope they can improve their customer service to ensure others don’t have to go through a similarly frustrating experience.

My “home” gym. Amazing staff! They are friendly and helpful and always welcoming. There is a ton of equipment already, and they are in the process of ordering and setting up more. Everything is clean and well maintained. There is a great culture in this gym, where everyone can feel comfortable, whether they are a serious bodybuilder, interested in group classes, or are just starting out. It’s a wonderfully diverse crowd and everyone is welcoming, friendly and supportive. The owners and managers are constantly focusing on improving the experience in the gym, and their dedication shows! I’ve been to just about every gym in Middle TN, and most all of them are great, but this is definitely where I prefer to spend my training time.

this place offers a lot of nice things, like sauna, pool and classess, pretty much a lot of cool equipment, but the gym seems to be really outdated the theater room upstairs is really dark, some of the equipments like the treadmill and elepetical aren't working properly, I checked out the fit3d scanner but the tablet wasn't working. -Update I went back and the theater room was fixed I am satisfied that the management was quick to listening to complaints and addressing it.

I dropped in here for a week while in Nashville on vacation, and I was super impressed! There’s lots of equipment, pretty much everything you could ever dream of machine wise - including some really nice Hammer Strength Machines. The barbells were pretty good, but definitely starting to get worn out. A few of them were bent, and could stand to be replaced, but the plates were awesome! Lots and lots of bumper plates to work with, so that’s great. The side room that’s set aside for free space has a really nice artificial turf, and it was awesome for sled pushes, walking lunges, etc. I will say though that side room fills up quite fast at busy times, making it a little harder to find space to work. There is a small section for dumbbells, which feels very small when you have someone else trying to train there with you. I wouldn’t call the back area, changing rooms or bathrooms the most clean, but not bad for a public gym. My preference would be to offload some of the less than necessary machines to make more space for more squat racks, to give the gym a more spacious feel with more versatility, but that’s just my preference. Overall, I was very happy to be able to train here. The prices seemed fair, the staff were helpful, and I got some awesome training in on vacation.

Visited here with my fiancé on a 6-day Nashville trip. Staff at the gym were kind and welcoming (shout out to the manger, Marcus.) The gym offers both day and week passes for guests, as well as 24-hours access for members. We had everything we needed! Plate weights, Olympic weights, Turf Area, Hammer Strength Machines, etc. At the entry you can also purchase Pre and Post Workout Drinks cold from the fridge. Lockers are available next to the restrooms to secure any items brought with you. Everything was kept clean (vacuumed and mopped) and there are cleaning stations located throughout the gym to make it easy to wipe off any equipment after use. Highly recommend checking this gym out whether you’re visiting, or a local!

Plenty of work out equipment, just kinda wish they would clean the air vents, black dust all around them and doesnt look like the filter, or filter cover has ever been cleaned or changed. Dont really wanna be breathing that in while im working out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Crunch Fitness at the Priest Lake location, and I have to give a special shoutout to Steven. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcomed and comfortable. His professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm for fitness are truly impressive. Steven took the time to understand my fitness goals and provided me with tailored advice that has made a noticeable difference in my workouts. His encouragement and positive attitude are contagious, making each visit something to look forward to. This gym is the best of all worlds. It's clean, it has free weights, A LOT OF THEM, and a hydro massage and a great community. The only thing that's weird is that if you are a guest you have to give them your ID every time which seems a bit much but otherwise me and my wife love it!

Did the day pass. Beautiful gym, lots of equipment, and multiples of most all machines, dumbbells, squat racks - enough for you to almost never have to wait your turn, I’d say. Very clean and tidy. Staff smiled and greeted me kindly, which is better than other Crunch locations I’ve been to! I didn’t feel crowded like at my other gyms I’ve been at in Nash. Plenty of space. Lots of amenities - lockers, showers, hydro massage, tanning. Lots of different areas too. Signed up today! WOOHOO!! Elijah was very kind and welcoming - he rocks!

This is a good gym. The equipment is maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and they are helpful. The only problem is that some of the members like to smoke weed in the restrooms and they come in smelling like it from outside, all the time and it’s offensive. Smoke the devil’s lettuce and stay home please
