Best Gyms with Free Wi Fi near Lynn, Massachusetts

I would like to receive a refund because I called them plenty of times and on different days, trying to cancel my account no one picked up the phone. The automatic voice system kept saying “I’m first in line” but over 20 minutes have passed for each call and no avail. I also received a huge bill from them, the “yearly bill” when I told them I already paid for it. Don’t go here very unprofessional. Although, this one guy, Dominican and tall is very nice. Forgot his name though.

The offer to clear all this mess up was made in front of the lynn policemen that were called on me! I’ll update if that happens!‼️I joined March 21st 2024 for a dollar! I quit before April 21st 2024! Told the youngman who signed me up that I quit asked if we were good and he said yes! Didn’t think about them until i opened a letter from a debt collector on Friday which says I owe 184.99 to Crunch Fitness! March, April, May, June, July, August…Okay that’s 5 months so why was my card charged 19 times? I’m not a member and I don’t owe them so why did crunch fitness sell my information to a debt collector? I’m not in the system because I’m not a member! The number that I took a picture of Friday to cancel since they insist that I’m still a member well no one answered that phone I called 8 times yesterday! I went back to the gym today to get a working number and some clarification on why they lied and charged me and they called the police on me! They were most kind! I’m frustrated that crunch gym would pull such a cheap move by stealing money and I should have called the police on them to report the theft of money I don’t owe them! The real reviews are not lying beware‼️

My go to gym since day one. Everyone is amazing here. People are helpful and nice to each other. Clean environment with amazing and friendly staff. Diego is an amazing person. Always happy to see him and talk to him. Overall the best gym.

Very disappointed with Crunch. My brother and I have been going to Crunch Fitness in Lynn for about 3 months now. We love the facility and staff and have been enjoying our time there. This evening we were having car issues so decided to ride our scooters to the gym. Upon arrival I asked one of the employees if I can leave my scooter inside of the building, out of the way of any foot traffic and was first told yes, no problem. My brother arrived with his scooter and placed it in the same place, again out of the way of any foot traffic. The employee that initially said we could leave them, took a phone call then told us that we actually couldn’t leave the scooters there and had to put them outside. Crunch Fitness Lynn does not have any outdoor bike racks or places to lock scooters or bikes. When I asked what we should do we were told “it what it is”. Needless to say we were very upset as they essentially told us to either leave the scooters outside unattended or simply leave the gym and not workout. I’d like to express my extreme frustration and let everyone know that Crunch Lynn is not commuter friendly.

One month, they charged me $60 (my basic membership was $15.00). I canceled my membership in April 2024, and today, November 4, 2024, I received a paper saying that I have an overdue of $147.95. Why? I canceled my membership! Why are they still charging me? I have heard about this situation with other people as well. So, don't waste your time with Crunch. Also, the manager and front door workers cannot help you. They don't know anything. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFORMATION! DON'T GIVE THEM YOU CARD INFORMATION! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFORMATION! I love the classes, Zumba, cardio dance, enhanced fitness and water fitness especially. The instructors are fantastic. Chris, Marcy, Liz and Lisa Margie really make working out so much fun, it’s like a party!

Our daughter attended her first day care experience at the YMCA. It’s affordable and a great start to get the ball rolling. I am amazed at the quality of staff and their attentiveness. Iris the director, is quick with responses in regards to childcare concerns/ updates. I also appreciate the attention to detail to make drop off easier for the littles and parents!

Please get rid of the pressure or pump equipments. It is very useless and good for the joints. buy new equipments for this place because everything is getting old. Big space with almost no equipments. One more thing, try to reorganize the equipments. I mean the set up. The ones hole area is a mess.

Recently the gym is amazing has all the good exercises but I've had several instructors intruding my workouts saying the weight was too heavy and I wasn't ego lifting either. Pretty long time ago and the new remodel with he new equipment I love it pool's cool the basketball court is great overall over than some staff great place my friend also takes lessons here with his trainer I also like the punching bags

Terrible gym/court experience. My kids came home upset today complaining about how some “adults” are taking over the basketball court everyday afternoon to play basketball and they don’t let anyone but their own friends play and get on the court. This is not fair for the kids and for the parents that pay a monthly membership for their kids to come and have fun and play basketball after school. This is very disappointing, my kids have been going to the ymca for the past 3 years and something like this hasn’t happened before, the YMCA staff and management needs to do something about this to make it fair for the people and kids!

The receptionist is always very attentive and welcoming. Always saying hi, welcome when walking in and always saying goodbye have a great day on the way out.. which makes things feel very comfortable. I wish there were more pelvic/glute machines as some of the other planet fitness has but overall I always have a good experience.

It’s great. Employees are good. It’s just one thing I asked, a wall watch is very important when people workout. Just glance at the wall and see your time, instead of digging down your pocket or bag. The watch now is broken or out of battery. So I wish it could be fixed. Thank you and have a great day.

I wasn’t planning on leaving a review, but after today’s experience, I feel compelled. The manager working today has an issue, and for some reason, it seems to be with me. At sign up, we’re given the choice of whether or not to take a photo for the ID. I’ve never had one, and I’ve been a member for years. It’s always been made clear that it’s optional, and no one has ever given me a hard time about it—until this manager. Today, he called me immature in a passive-aggressive tone because I opted not to take a photo and instead offered my ID to verify my identity. Despite having my membership pass and being a regular, he made it an issue. No other staff or gym I’ve been to enforces this, but this man seems to have made it his mission to single me out. He doesn’t let you get a word in, and frankly, I’d rather avoid interacting with him altogether. I now make sure to have my ID ready, not because it’s required, but to avoid giving him any excuse to mess with my membership. His behavior feels more about control than policy. To top it off, he’s outright rude. I can only imagine the trouble he causes for others who look like me. It’s unacceptable.

Horrible experience with their RUDE MANAGER at the Lynn location. I have never experienced such rude person to a consumer. When I asked him to give me his manager or owner number he refused and he said to me that why would I want his information and I said because you are rude and he responded “do you want his personal number too” and was laughing. I cannot belive how rude he was.

The staffs are super nice and helpful. The place is super clean including the bathroom.
