Best Gym near York, Pennsylvania

On the positive side, It is a decent value, reasonably clean for the high volume. On the negative side you have to provide your bank account data for the annual fee! No reputable company should require your bank info! Also, beware: Based on policy: They let men in women’s locker rooms.

Be very careful about signing up for a membership here. They apparently outsource their billing operations to ABC Fitness Solutions, and that company will charge you exorbitant “late” fees on top of membership fees. I’ve been disputing charges now for two months. I canceled my membership at my home gym, and provided proof of cancellation to ABC Fitness Solutions. But they continue to bill my account, and deferring me to cancel at this gym, even though I already canceled. Planet Fitness support has not responded. Neither has management from any gym. At this point, it feels like outright fraud.

What is there not to like about my experience. The employees, the other guests, everything at this location is just great. Carter and Zen always make me feel welcome (as well as the rest of the staff, regardless of what time I come in). The place is always taken care of and anything I ever need assistance with, it is always met with care and swiftness. I will be staying here till forever and always.

My wife just joined a few months ago along with an adult with disabilities that we are caretakers for. The equipment is great, the staff are great. She’s been enjoying it. HOWEVER the credit card we have on file is fine and in good standing, but we were charged a late fee $15 on the adult with disabilities account! No one could solve it. The credit card is fine. The monthly charge was processed, but there is a backend processing delay on planet fitness - and we were charged. There is no phone number to call. No one at the desk can help. Now we have to cancel our membership. What is wrong with you????

Not my favorite gym. It's pretty dirty with hair and dust all over the floor every time I go. The staff do not keep the paper towels and spray filled, and they do not enforce the rules in the circuit area even when asked. Update - They did a small remodel and have definitely abandoned their original strategy in favor of the gym bros. They took out the equipment that was easy to use and setup for regular people to get into a routine and added more weight equipment for the gym bros.

This gym has the best coaches! They are all very welcoming, and they are very good at helping you to correct your form, to help prevent injuries. It's not like the typical gym, where you may feel awkward, or out of place. Everyone makes you feel like a part of the team, and they help you to better yourself :)

I’ve been going to CrossFit Batcave for a month now. This gym is great for anyone at any fitness level with a wide variety of equipment and workouts. Everyone is friendly and encouraging to help you through your workouts. Coach Corey is highly knowledgeable in all fitness aspects and wants to help you hit your fitness goals. I highly recommend this gym to anyone thinking about trying out CrossFit; it won’t disappoint and you will work up a great sweat!

I found out about CrossFit Batcave through a 6 week challenge. I did the challenge and found out that I really enjoyed the people I was with.they have a strong sense of family and a strong sense of all working together as one. The coaches Laura, Corey, and Dot will push you beyond your limitations, in order to help you reach your goal. I've already recommended some personal friends/family. They have different classes available to try to fit in with your work schedule depending on the shift that you work. They are really good on working with you and helping you achieve what it is that you wish to achieve in your personal fitness goals. so long story short when I'm saying is come on down I hope to see you at the gym come get your CrossFit on! with the CrossFit Batcave family we always welcome new members.

AMAZING GYM!!! What makes it even better are the people. No matter your fitness level, you'll always feel welcome. Corey is a master coach - highly technical, engaging, and encouraging. If you want to learn Olympic lifting with textbook form take lessons from him: you WON'T be disappointed.

If you are looking for more that just a gym, like how about the most amazing support team on the planet or a place where the members are more like your family, then you have got to come check out CrossFit Batcave! I have been part of this incredible family since April and not only has my body transformed, but so has my mental attitude. I have NEVER enjoyed working out! It was a hated chore, but that has all changed. I can't wait to get to the gym now and feel guilty if I miss a day. I am loving my fitness journey! Big thanks to all the coaches and the incredible people who inspire and encourage me daily!!!

WOWW NOW this is an awesome amazing gym. So far everyone is very nice and respectful I'm so glad we found this diamond 💎 in the ruff. Laid back but also tough.

Humble but wonderful gym, great owner and very friendly members. Everyone jumps in to lend a hand, without having to ask or look for help. I have been to many gyms from NYC, NJ to Pennsylvania and this is by far my favorite.

Love the energy there.

Grit 22 is the place to be. Being a York College athlete, Isaiah has helped me improve on my athletic capabilities. Not only is the gym itself a welcoming atmosphere, I always get in a great workout every time I go. From just the brief time I have been a client, I have already seen improvements in myself both physically and mentally. I highly recommend to give this gym a try whether it’s preparing for season or just wanting to better personally!

Grit 22 is without a doubt a GREAT place to train. It's very personable, working on not only improving your overall fitness but identifying and working to fix the areas you are weak in. This is extremely beneficial to me personally as a collegiate athlete. It is a very welcoming workout environment. Isaiah is always explaining why we are doing something and elaborating what muscles the specific exercise is working. Both myself and the people around me have noticed a difference in my level of fitness. I highly recommend doing a workout here whether you are an athlete or not, you won't regret it!

Strength training at Grit has literally saved my back. When I started 3 months ago I was afraid to squat with weight, after multiple back injuries and plateauing results from physical therapy. Now I'm confidently squatting and deadlifting more than I have in years with no fear of injury, due to fantastic programming and coaching. Highly recommend!

Solid place to train, hands down! I just got my consultation and I can already tell I'm going to ditch my other gym memberships. If you want to get out of your comfort zone go see Isaiah! he will educate, encourage and push you to where you want to be. That being said, I think my favorite part is that he can always clearly articulate the "how" and "why" to doing things as he recommends. Very knowledgeable guy, very clean facility. Time to get off your couch👍

Very fun competitive atmosphere. I look forward to going every time throughout the week. 2 on 1 coaching which makes it very personal but you aren’t waiting around in between reps. I have made incredible progress and have learned so much in a short amount of time. Everyone in the gym has become like family. We all support each other and our goals. Highly recommend to anyone whether in a sport, anyone who has weight loss goals or just loves fitness in general!

Where to start??? When I see my granddaughter love something so much it makes me realize that cheering has been nurtured in her by an amazing celebrity family. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable about the sport. They encourage the girls to work hard but they also have fun!!! No one can put a price on how the girls grow and master skills to make them competitive. When attending competitions we are loud and so supportive of the girls no matter what level at which they are performing. If you want your cheerleader to grow in the skills needed to succeed and to create bonds of friendship that are so important then this the gym for you. I have two daughters in this program. My first daughter started out on the half year team 3 seasons ago after cheering on a rec team, and fell in love with all star cheer right there. Now going into her 4th season with Celebrity, idk where we would be without this gym. My youngest daughter has been apart of the tiny program for the past two years, and always looks forward to the days she is at the gym. The coaches are so patient, kind, and understanding of all kids and their learning styles. Both of my girls attend privates, clinics, open gyms, and classes at the gym. ALL of the coaches and tumbling instructors put their hearts and souls into all of the athletes that walk through the doors. My oldest daughter was extremely shy and closed off when she started at Celebrity Cheer 3 years ago, and now this gym is my families second home. They have built so much more than just cheer skills. They have so many long lasting friendships- that feel more like family to us all now. We are so appreciative of Celebrity Cheer, and so thankful to have found a gym/cheer-home like theirs! 💛

My daughter is entering her 4th year at Celebrity. Celebrity is such a family environment and she has met her best friends here. Our family is honored to be a part of the Celebrity Cheer Family!! My daughter is entering her 3rd season with Celebrity and we could not be happier! This is her home away from home and where she finds her complete happiness. My daughter spent 2.5 years at another elite cheer gym before we came to Celebrity and I wish we had made the move sooner!! My daughter went from leaving competitions with her old gym in tears frustrated and broken not understanding why she poured her heart and soul into her team yet they were getting 5th, 6th, 7th place to being on a team that consistently wins, and if they don't, the coaches at Celebrity build them up, change things and make it possible the next time! Her confidence has blossomed, she's made friends and found her home! Two thumbs up from this seasoned all star cheer mom!!
