This planet fitness doesn’t have hot water on the middle of winter. If you are planning on working out and taking a shower before you get your car, do not sign up for this location. Manager doesn’t have an idea what to say to people and there is only a female representative therefore she can’t come in and check what may be wrong with the heater.

Love your company. It helped me accomplish The 75 Hard Challenge (required 2 workouts a day). I got life changing results and it wouldn’t have been possible without Planet Fitness. The convenience and depth of your equipment is perfect for a traveling sales person like myself. Gratitude to your team.

Facilitaity could have been cleaner, and two of the core trainer machines I tried really needed to be serviced as they were wobbly and as you moved there was clicking you could feel while moving. The third machine was good though. Spa area was clean and well kept. Staff was fantastic

Great place if you go during off peak hours. Which makes sense. Equipment is not the cleanest. A lot of dust and debris in corner areas of the equipment. Other than that, it's good.

Patient, caring, and detailed instruction for young kids new to the sport. Michelle and her sister are wonderful as are the younger instructors who demonstrate. Guide, and inspire. Our five-year-old daughter loves the facility!

The great array of classes to choose from ~ both water and land. It is just terrific and the coaches/teachers/instructors of the various super balanced classes are terrific as well. I also appreciate the abundance of open lanes for general swimming time as well, as distinct from lap swimming only. I highly recommend.

Camp Harbor Quest was so great for my little one! She started off in the younger group and turned 7 in the summer so she was able to attend the next group up and did great. She loved the different activities that were offered. The program ran very smooth and great communication between the staff & parents.

Other Y locations, like the one in Beverly, may have much better parking, but that is not an issue for me. (And if you come in the early morning, there is still plenty of parking available, and it's free until 8:00 AM.) The facility itself has much more to offer on the inside than you'd think from the outside. The pool is a little small, but I usually go for the gym equipment. The fitness room is packed with equipment to make best use of available space. The equipment is up-to-date and well-maintained, and the facility is very clean overall. There are several water stations where you can fill up your travel mug, and stay hydrated. Best of all, in the thick of summer: The AC is very effective! :)

Good gym facilities, but it is insane to me that the day care has no security measures for checking kids in or out. The Greater Beverly Y sections off the area the kids are in and requires you to scan your badge again when picking up or dropping off. At Salem Y you literally walk into the kid's space, grab a child and sign them out on a piece of paper. No one vets you or that you're signing the correct line. This is a disaster waiting to happen, copy what other YMCA locations are doing and fix this.

I have been coming to White Wolf for almost a year and I am so happy I made the decision to join! Every coach is so nice and encouraging (shout out to my trainer, Greg!) and there is always a dog to greet you when you walk in. Who can be in a bad mood working out with dogs? 😂 Seriously, if you are looking for a local gym with good people, this is the place for you.

I’ve been going to this gym for personal training the past 6 months, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I recently had a herniated disc and I was wary of getting back into weight training after going under the knife. That said, after training here for 6 months, I already feel stronger and my back has felt better as a result. Shout out to Joe (owner/ trainer) for his guidance and striking a balance between pushing me physically and keeping my health top of mind. Everyone here is great and, if that wasn’t enough, the doggos are adorable. 100/10, would recommend!

White Wolf has been my go-to gym for the past few years and I’m so glad I found it! When I finally mustered up the motivation to try my first class, I was hooked. It’s not your typical big-box gym, which is what I love about it. Joe, the owner, and roster of trainers—Greg, Joe, Chris, Maggie, Anthony, and Colby—really focus on you as an individual. Whether you’re new or trying to take your fitness to the next level, the 1:1 coaching and programming during each class feels as close to personal training as you can get in a group setting. My favorite class is Boxing Bootcamp with Greg! Before White Wolf, I never thought it would be something I’d try, but now it’s a weekly staple for me. I also love feeling part of the local community/"pack" both in and out of the gym (the gym doggos definitely help seal the deal ;)).

Great gym and programming for all levels. As a beginner, I was intimidated to get started, but it's a fantastic group all around. Trainers are engaged and attentive and the group is always helpful and supportive.

I never write reviews for things but I wanted to post about my positive experience with TD Athletes Edge. I had been dealing with several nagging injuries for years and came across Tim on Instagram. The videos he posted and his philosophy really resonated with me. I am not local so online training was my only option and despite being skeptical about the effectiveness of online personal training, I decided to give it a try since nothing else was working. I’ve been online training two days a week for about 10 months and it has been nothing but great. The exercise videos are very detailed and I rarely have any issues figuring out what I am supposed to be doing. The program designed for me is always challenging but doable and can be tailored for travel. Tim is very responsive when I do have questions and I have more than enough time to discuss my progress with him during monthly phone calls. Best of all is that I’ve had noticeable improvement with my nagging injuries and my daily quality of life has improved. I feel stronger and healthier than I have in years and I am thankful that I found Tim!

We have been working with TD Athletes Edge for the last 2 years. Tim and his talented staff are the most knowledgeable and professional trainers we have experienced. Every 4 weeks they change are routine while focusing on our individual needs. We have seen tremendous results. Thank you TD for improving our lives! Amy and David P.

I got in contact with TD Edge after a back injury and multiple sessions of PT. I wanted a second opinion and came down for an evaluation. Since I live out of state, I could not attend in person training but I have gone through 10 phases of personal training online with Tim/TD Edge. I have loved Tim's positive, upbeat, support throughout, especially through flare ups when I really needed the support to get through the challenging times. I also love the accountability piece of having someone check in on my workouts throughout the week. The start of the phase is most challenging, with starting new exercises to learn but this is eased with "how to" videos to listen to and watch repeatedly when needed. I have gained a toolbox of exercises, and stretches and learned to keep moving through flare ups! The best take away is realizing your body craves movement! -Kristin Cole

Working with Tim has been an awesome experience. I have been a personal trainer myself for over 20 years, and I find that Tim has taught me ways to progress my workouts in ways I have never thought of. I love his ability to help me rehab a few nagging injuries while also to helping to continue to work towards my other goals. Tim's the best!

I value my experience at TD Athletes Edge on so many levels: - As a lifelong fitness enthusiast - As a fitness coach, myself - As a client in recovery from 3 back surgeries including a spinal fusion I became a member at TD when I was 3 months post-spinal fusion (my third back surgery). Both my parents, in their 70s, and my husband were already clients who were having great experiences. The programming was safe and thoughtful as I was just able to begin lifting anything again. They didn’t let me push myself faster than was safe (even when I wanted them to!) In the two years since, Jess has coached me to a superior level of strength and fitness than I had pre-injury. Her expertise is unmatched and she individualizes my program based on my goals. She has taught me a tremendous amount about smart programming and technique, as well as the importance of de-loading and not overtraining, all of which have also made me a better fitness coach and instructor for my own clients. The atmosphere at TD is professional but always fun and light-hearted. All of the coaches are helpful and professional. Lucy, Gabe, Jess and Sarah are some of the best coaches I have worked with in over 23 years of training. I’m always impressed by the wide spectrum of clients, from elite competitive athletes to people who first started lifting weights in their 80s. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to benefit from strength training.
