Overall, I’ve been very satisfied with this gym as a member at this location for over a year. The facility is spacious and bright with plenty of equipment making for an enjoyable place to workout. My strength training sessions with their Master Trainer Brock have been exceptional—he’s highly knowledgeable, professional, and I’ve achieved great results with his coaching [I give Brock 5 stars alone!]. The rest of the staff are also deserving of recognition—especially Jack at the front desk, and Jacob at the muscle bar, who are always friendly and helpful. The one downside is the bathrooms could use an upgrade; it smells like the plumbing is old and outdated.

If you want a community piss lake, employees who freely take from lost and found and a disrespectful operations manager then this is your gym!!! For example, I mentioned to the manager the men’s locker room needed attention, his response: “janitor will be here in an hour”

LA Fitness offers a great variety of equipment, group classes, and amenities like pools and saunas, making it a solid gym choice. The nationwide access is a plus for frequent travelers. However, some locations struggle with cleanliness, and peak hours can get crowded. Customer service varies by location.

This fitness center offers almost everything you could want in a gym: a super friendly manager and staff, a beautiful basketball court, welcoming members, and updated workout machines. However, there is one significant drawback—the swimming pool water is uncomfortably cold. We’ve enjoyed swimming at numerous other fitness centers, including 24 Hour Fitness, Las Vegas Athletic Clubs, City Fitness, and ClubSport, all of which maintain warm, inviting pool water. Unfortunately, the cold water at LA Fitness makes swimming an unpleasant experience. As a result, we’ve had to stop swimming altogether, even though it’s been our favorite sport. It’s truly disappointing considering how excellent the rest of the facility is. Is LA Fitness the only gym that doesn’t keep its pool water warm?

This review is totally based on customer service dealing with canceling my Pilates class. I originally signed up with Paul and at that time I was told by Paul if I wanted to cancel, I had up to 30 days from the date that the Pilates studio had been built and open to the public. Paul reassured me that I would get my refund of $99. Keep in mind I never trust auto pay to the point I paid 3 years of gym membership up front to avoid this type of situation. I decided to cancel the class before the studio was opened to the public. I spoke with Edward in person three times and on the phone two times to cancel the class and receive a refund of my 1st $99 then to request a refund of the 2nd $99 that I was charged. The last time I went in to speak with Edward and Jeff the operations manager, I was told by Jeff my Pilates class had not been cancelled and I would not receive a refund of my $200. I was in absolute shock. Jeff was rude and dismissive and did not listen to his employee Edward who told him that I had spoken to him several times to cancel the class even before the studio was open to the public. LA fitness really needs to investigate the poor quality of service at this club and provide customer service training. Edward absolutely failed in customer service by not handling this situation correctly by making notes on my account and follow through. On my last visit he called customer service in front of me to confirm I should get a refund. Once off the phone he gives me the phone number to customer service and tells me to follow up with them. Edward lied and said he would call me back which he didn’t. I should have stayed with 24 hours fitness. At least they didn’t lie. Bottom line I called customer service and was told that Jeff denied my refund so I’m out of $200 for a class I never took. Make sure you get everything in writing. Don’t trust Edward or Jeff to do the right thing.

I took my first Pilates class at Sweat House and I loved it! I’m definitely sore all over as that’s how I know I had a great workout. Erin was really nice and welcoming….. I look forward to my next class.

I’ve been doing HIIT and swimming consistently for the last seven years, and this workout is by far the most challenging. I get sore after every class, and the burn is real! The workout is very different, and I recommend everyone try it once. They offer a free first class so there’s nothing to lose.

I recently just graduated from college and was looking for a good way to stay active. I have never been big on going to the gym because it’s always very intimidating for me, but I absolutely LOVED this Pilates class. I feel great after every session, comfortable/safe yet also challenged during the exercise, and I love how they switch the classes up so it doesn’t feel repetitive.

An intense but energetic environment that motivates you to get the workout done! Place is clean and instructors are clear and helpful with anything that you need help with. This is my first Pilates studio and so far it had been great!

What a workout!! My muscles were shaking the entire time and I feel stronger just from one class. The gym is clean and there is plenty of space so you don't have others bumping into you. I told the instructor Rilie that it was my first time doing Lagree and she was so helpful to make sure I was doing each workout correctly and adjust my form so I would not get injured. She was so kind and attentive!

This Gym has everything you need. It’s very nice to have Tesla chargers right under and also have a theater and a restaurant upstairs. The gym however does need to upgrade some of the machines that they have about the gym. It’s quiet late afternoons it’s not too busy like other gyms where there’s too many people you can’t even work out you have to wait for a machine, however, also be aware. Don’t leave anything in your car this week there was a break-in in don’t leave anything visually inside your car cause there was a break-in. There are some cameras outside. I would suggest they upgrade the machines maybe have someone at night cleaning more other than customer service at night is amazing. The guy on the Door always does an amazing job saying hello to everyone, very convenient next to the freeway and gas station right across they don’t have kids club, which is a downside. I hope they bring it back soon.!!!!

Tried and true LA Fitness Equipment is dated and styling is a bit old but the gym is clean and taken care of. They have all the standard equipment plus a swimming pool, basketball court, and dry sauna. No Olympic lifting stations or racketball here and for the price you pay for LA Fitness, you’d expect the lates and greatest. However, it’s a solid gym that is not crowded often, which is a big plus for me. I can usually get bench press or squat rack, even during busier hours. Keep in mind this particular location always smells a bit like sewage but not sure LA Fitness can help that.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the LA Fitness Crown Valley branch. I signed up for a two-month membership starting on August 2024, paying nearly $60 for the initial fee and $70 for the two months. Despite this, they charged my account for two additional $35 payments without my permission. When I reached out to them to request a refund, they ignored my request, showing zero respect for their customers. And they don't reply my emails. The gym itself is in poor condition. The pool, showers, and locker areas are consistently dirty, making it an unpleasant experience to use the facilities. Additionally, the moment you walk in, you're hit with a horrible odor that seems to be coming from a faulty sewer system. It’s honestly unbearable and makes you want to turn around and leave immediately. If they don’t address these issues, I’m sure they’ll lose many more customers. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. It’s been a huge disappointment, from the unauthorized charges to the terrible state of the facility. Save your money and find a gym that actually respects its members and keeps its space clean.

Alan, the manager, has done ZERO regarding the 80+ degree heat in the gym. AC been broken down for weeks and it’s too hot and nasty in there to workout. A couple industrial fans would be nice but he could really care less. I called and left three messages and he has yet to return my calls. I’m paying a membership that I can’t use. The other gyms are too over crowded because people are using those properties instead. A few weeks ago they had zero sanitary supplies to wipe the equipment as well. I think we need new management. In addition, the place reeks of sewage.

LA Fitness crown valley is not ran properly at all! The Front desk manger flirts with the ladies members and makes them uncomfortable all the time! Tell them the butt look good after squats, or that a dress looks nice on them! The club stinks and they don’t fix anything in a timely manner! I also heard front desk manger has pocketed cash also.

I play in 5v5 turf soccer league. $50 for a season it's so much fun. Alot of cool people there. I walked inside the YMCA and there's lots of gym equipment and exercise classes in there.

Become a member today and start enjoying all of the benefits that the YMCA has to offer. This location has a full gym, sports areas, and a swimming pool. They also have several programs for the community to participate in. I recommend the Adventure Guides program for fathers and their kids. They also offer martial arts classes.

I stopped by to see if Mission Viejo Family YMCA was open. This is a great place for the entire family. They have basketball, a small soccer arena and lots of other things to do. This YMCA is clean and we'll taken care of. You should stop by to see for yourself how nice this YMCA really is. Highly recommend

Poor lifeguard etiquette with a lack of consistency in how they treat guests and especially when it comes to random rule implementations depending on which lifeguard you get. It is clear to the casual observer that they lack basic training and are unclear on rules themselves as often times they make them up as they go. Also, if you are a parent of small children I would strongly advise against using this facility if your child's safety is important.

I signed up here to try to get back into swimming. The lane reservation is a cool feature but I found that it was useless. The first time I went, there was another man occupying my reserved lane. The second time I showed up for my reserved lane, I got kicked out within five minutes because there was a "swimming lesson that took priority." The staff didn't really care to communicate what might have gone wrong. The pool also isn't very clean. The staff was friendly otherwise however, and the facility is nice, this place just did a poor job of serving my specific needs and I canceled my membership after two visits.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I’ve been coming to Fitness 19 in Mission Viejo for a while now, and it’s by far my favorite gym in the area. The equipment is top-notch, and the gym itself is always clean and well-organized. The staff is super friendly and creates a supportive environment. Plus, the prices are unbeatable for what you get. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, great place to get fit, this is it!”

I have been a member of Fitness 19 and other gyms on and off for over 10 years and Fitness 19 has, by far, been my favorite gym. All of the staff members are incredibly welcoming when coming in for a work out. The equipment is fabulous - always clean, never worn out. You can tell that the staff and other members really take care of of the facility. It's a more intimate gym so naturally it can be pretty busy during peak hours but all of the other members are friendly so it's easy to ask someone when they'll be wrapping up on a certain piece of equipment, etc.

Fitness19 is one of the best gyms I’ve been to - I’ve been a member for over a year and a half and I love coming to this location. Mo is incredibly helpful and a wonderful trainer. He’s really helped me get in shape for my upcoming wedding and always walks me through exercises at my own pace.

This is a great place to workout. I’ve moved into the area and heard this was one of the top three gym memberships that are worthwhile!! All of the staff are friendly, clean environment , and appreciate the serene views of the lake. Thank you for making this space a great experience for all.
