Overall, I’ve been very satisfied with this gym as a member at this location for over a year. The facility is spacious and bright with plenty of equipment making for an enjoyable place to workout. My strength training sessions with their Master Trainer Brock have been exceptional—he’s highly knowledgeable, professional, and I’ve achieved great results with his coaching [I give Brock 5 stars alone!]. The rest of the staff are also deserving of recognition—especially Jack at the front desk, and Jacob at the muscle bar, who are always friendly and helpful. The one downside is the bathrooms could use an upgrade; it smells like the plumbing is old and outdated.

If you want a community piss lake, employees who freely take from lost and found and a disrespectful operations manager then this is your gym!!! For example, I mentioned to the manager the men’s locker room needed attention, his response: “janitor will be here in an hour”

LA Fitness offers a great variety of equipment, group classes, and amenities like pools and saunas, making it a solid gym choice. The nationwide access is a plus for frequent travelers. However, some locations struggle with cleanliness, and peak hours can get crowded. Customer service varies by location.

This fitness center offers almost everything you could want in a gym: a super friendly manager and staff, a beautiful basketball court, welcoming members, and updated workout machines. However, there is one significant drawback—the swimming pool water is uncomfortably cold. We’ve enjoyed swimming at numerous other fitness centers, including 24 Hour Fitness, Las Vegas Athletic Clubs, City Fitness, and ClubSport, all of which maintain warm, inviting pool water. Unfortunately, the cold water at LA Fitness makes swimming an unpleasant experience. As a result, we’ve had to stop swimming altogether, even though it’s been our favorite sport. It’s truly disappointing considering how excellent the rest of the facility is. Is LA Fitness the only gym that doesn’t keep its pool water warm?

This review is totally based on customer service dealing with canceling my Pilates class. I originally signed up with Paul and at that time I was told by Paul if I wanted to cancel, I had up to 30 days from the date that the Pilates studio had been built and open to the public. Paul reassured me that I would get my refund of $99. Keep in mind I never trust auto pay to the point I paid 3 years of gym membership up front to avoid this type of situation. I decided to cancel the class before the studio was opened to the public. I spoke with Edward in person three times and on the phone two times to cancel the class and receive a refund of my 1st $99 then to request a refund of the 2nd $99 that I was charged. The last time I went in to speak with Edward and Jeff the operations manager, I was told by Jeff my Pilates class had not been cancelled and I would not receive a refund of my $200. I was in absolute shock. Jeff was rude and dismissive and did not listen to his employee Edward who told him that I had spoken to him several times to cancel the class even before the studio was open to the public. LA fitness really needs to investigate the poor quality of service at this club and provide customer service training. Edward absolutely failed in customer service by not handling this situation correctly by making notes on my account and follow through. On my last visit he called customer service in front of me to confirm I should get a refund. Once off the phone he gives me the phone number to customer service and tells me to follow up with them. Edward lied and said he would call me back which he didn’t. I should have stayed with 24 hours fitness. At least they didn’t lie. Bottom line I called customer service and was told that Jeff denied my refund so I’m out of $200 for a class I never took. Make sure you get everything in writing. Don’t trust Edward or Jeff to do the right thing.
