Clean, nice, different typa L.A. Fitness! Loved the layout and more chill, friendlier "neighborhood" vibe and staff! Equipment seems pretty well maintained overall, and facilities are enjoyable including an outdoor pool and adjacent sauna & rarely seen steam room (although it was out of order as of the writing of this post). Will come more often to this L.A. Fitness because I enjoyed it and to mix it up as far as the locations I choose to work out. Definitely recommend!

This gym is falling apart. The patrons always mess around with the sauna temperature and went I brought it up to the front desk they said they couldn’t do anything. Sometimes it feels like your skin burns up as soon as you walk in. The machines are rusted and seats are torn. I just tried two out of 4 Steppers and where broken. It’s the worst LA fitness in this area and that I’ve ever been to. This has been going on for years and they don’t do anything about it. Not to mention the steam room is always out of service. Avoid this location at all costs if you can. Unfortunately it’s the closest one to me and I have limited time.

I have been coming to this gym for several months and I had the opportunity to compare it with another LA Fitness, although the staff is of very good quality and give good customer service, the conditions in which the establishment is located leave a lot to be desired, the sauna of very poor quality, the bathrooms look very old and deteriorated, the showers give some disgusting and the steam bath, well that one is always broken. It is definitely time for the purchase to take this place into account for a remodeling because the competition is providing very good quality. I repeat the staff is first class but the material leaves a lot to be desired.

Excellent service! Milena Estevez welcomes you and explains in detail each of the plans and benefits included with your membership. Thanks to her guidance, I’m convinced I made the best decision to start at this gym

Signed up for a free 3 day pass, went only once, and didn’t come back the other 2 days because this gym is TERRIBLE. It’s old, dirty, rusty, musty, messy, any negative adjective you can think of. Machines are ALL falling apart. Literally all of them. There is not a single machine that is not rusting. The weights are scattered EVERYWHERE and the rack is completely disorganized, good luck finding a set of dumbbells. No one wipes down their equipment or puts their shit back, though can you really be surprised that members don’t care about the gym when management clearly doesn’t either? As a woman I also personally did not feel comfortable here. It’s a big boy’s club and even with my husband around I felt like the men were super judgey and annoyed with me using the benches for example. Not to mention the casual, loud, open conversations from old Cuban men talking about condoning slavery and deporting legal immigrants who vote Democrat… so I guess if you’re views are as outdated as these machines then you’ll fit right in. Otherwise, stay far far away.

I love this box! The members are friendly and supportive. The coaches are amazing! They are helpful, motivating, and insightful. I’ve been at the box for a couple of years and they helped me transform my life. I dropped 80 lbs and am now more athletic than I was in high school. I can’t say enough good things about my Tam Fam. If you’re reading this and considering joining, DO IT! Don’t overthink it, come by for the intro classes and start your fitness journey. Then come say hi if you see me around! I’m looking forward to it!!

I've been a member for 3 years. Like most people, when I started... I didn't know anyone and I was really intimidated by the workouts and movements. So, I asked a lot of questions, made conservative weight selections, and made sure to chat and exchange names with each person next to me in class. Fast forward a few weeks... and I was overwhelmed with the feeling of belonging and connection to a fitness community that FAR exceeds any club or commercial fitness membership I've ever had in QUALITY, ACCESSIBILITY, and CLEANLINESS. I've made friends here that I consider family now. This gym is also really family friendly. My kids come and watch/participate. It has been really easy to stay motivated because all I have to do is look at the person next to me who is pushing and training hard and that's enough to inspire me and make me want to push and train hard, too. I tell people all the time that we are spoiled when it comes to equipment because the implements are really well kept and nicer than most of the other CrossFit gyms I have been to.. if you are thinking about trying CrossFit but scared.. just do it. Show up, ask questions, exchange names, take it slow to start... it will grow on you. Best place to try it out, Tamiami Fitness! Give it a shot!

I have been going to Crossfit Tamiami for close to a year now and I am so happy to have found this place. Everyone was so welcoming from the beginning. The coaches are great in helping and instructing us and leading the classes. There’s a Crossfit class and a Pulse class that you can choose from depending on what you prefer. The space is huge so you rarely feel like you can’t move during workouts. There is plenty of equipment for the classes and it is all kept very organized and clean. Overall I am very happy to be part of the Tam Fam!

Please, read the contract thoroughly! I signed up for what I was told was a three-month trail, and I went almost every day. After seeing no results, I stopped attending, only to find out they kept charging me! When I called to resolve the issue, they just shrugged it off with, "It's in the contract." It's clear they only care about the money. I was charged for two extra months without a single follow-up or call to renew-how unprofessional! I had no idea I'd still be charged after the trial period; if I had, I would have kept going. Instead, they took my money without providing any service. The only way to cancel is by emailing them, which wasn't even mentioned during sign-up! If you're considering paying $150 a month for workouts you can find online, think again. You won't get any real benefits, like tracking your progress or achieving personal fitness goals while you're there. I'm furious and incredibly disappointed, especially knowing that other gyms prioritize customer satisfaction.

All around intense workout in 1 hour only. Coaches are great and make sure you have proper form when doing all the different exercises. In addition, coaches provide upbeat attitudes and a positive environment. They offer a large variety of exercises so that it's always something different each time you go. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

This gym is amazing. Very family oriented gym. The owner is very down to earth and willing to help in what is needed. It’s that old school gym with a good feel to it. I left LA Fitness and came here and it was the best decision ever. Machines are clean, location is great and overall I’m super happy. No crazy sign up fees. I can’t wait to go everyday.

Overall, our family has enjoyed our time at Lifetime Fitness Club at The Falls. We’ve celebrated our daughter’s birthday there, and the staff at the Kids Academy genuinely loves our kids, a sentiment that is definitely reciprocated. The amenities are fantastic and the facilities are brand new, which has made our membership quite enjoyable so far. However, I’ve started to notice some issues with maintenance that are concerning, especially given the club’s premium status. For instance, this morning, the jacuzzi was not working (fixed since then). Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time; the last time it happened, it took two weeks to get it repaired. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the stretch zone floor was dirty, and when I pointed it out to the staff member in charge, she seemed ineffective in cleaning it properly and even responded with attitude. Moreover, a treadmill has been out of order for several weeks now, which is disappointing. As a founding member who has just celebrated our one-year anniversary with the club, I’m beginning to worry that in one or two years, this club could decline to the level of an LA Fitness, which also started as a luxury fitness club. Despite trying to address these concerns on behalf of five founding member families who share similar feelings, the response from the General Manager was less than satisfactory—he came across as arrogant and condescending. While we still enjoy many aspects of Lifetime Fitness, these maintenance and management issues are starting to affect our overall experience. I hope that these concerns will be addressed so that the club can maintain the high standards we joined for.

I use the facilities at the lifetime at The Falls. The facilities are amazing and the staff keeps everything looking perfect! They even dust the plants. Two employees need to be singled out. Katie and Isa work in the recovery area. (Pictured below)They take the time to learn your name, and go out of their way to help you. Very knowledgeable about the equipment, they make you feel at home! If there is an employee award I recommend them both! Bob P

Put some respect on Lifetime’s name!!! I am a proud member for over 2 years. Lifetime is my happy place and my second home. I have been a member at the one in Coral Gables but I went to the Falls location for the first time today and I was blown away. Love it so much. Everything top tier. I had to make this review because the best place on earth should have a better Google rating than 3.9 stars. Cmon Karens!!!! Stop hating on Lifetime. Greatest place ever. Don’t sleep. 🤍🤍🤍

Very impressive facility in a former Bloomingdale's! It has amenities I've personally never seen at a gym before like a bar (with both alcoholic beverages and coffee), a cafe for tasty eats, a cool spa (complete with a barber shop, facials, mani/pedi, & more), really nice locker room (w towels, sauna, & steam), 2 pools including an indoor "Olympic" style pool for laps as well as a large "resort style" outdoor pool, 2nd floor has all your workout studios, water massage, & more, and 3rd floor has alota modern cardio equipment, weight machines, & free weights. Thank you Natalie for a great tour! It's a pricey membership, but seems well worth it if you can afford it. Recommend you take a tour and see for yourself. I would've posted more pics and a longer video if I had been permitted. Beautiful though. Trust me. You'll go gaga! Lol

Great facility especially the gym! I would however be very particular of what trainer you pay for, as some are more professional and not rude like others. I highly recommend James as a trainer due to his professional level and patience. The trainer Martin, not so much because I don’t think trainers should be raising their voice at you or give unnecessary attitude because you are of course paying them, for a service! I didn’t pay to be disrespected by a man!

No pool, sauna, or steam room. There are a lot of treadmills and bikes. Double row and lat cable pull down, so that was nice. Didn't have to wait. Good variety of weights. Even duplicates of most used weights.

The South Dade YMCA has been such a blast for our family! The classes are super fun, and there’s something for everyone, no matter what you’re into. The place is always clean and ready to go, which makes working out way more enjoyable. Our kids are all about the sports clubs—they get to run around, have a great time, and burn off all that energy. And there’s complimentary child care—seriously, it’s a lifesaver! You can drop off your toddlers for up to two hours while you hit the gym or join a class, and they’re in good hands the whole time. All in all, The South Dade YMCA has it all. It’s the perfect spot for the whole family to stay active, have fun, and just feel good!

They have lots of personal trainers that I see there including my friend Archy who is a great motivator and inspiring person. I always tell my friends they need to go try this gym. They have protein shakes, showers and lockers, and Friendly / positive environment that makes you feel good to go workout every day. 😁💪

Facility is decent enough for the price but the staff is extremely unprofessional. I had to freeze my account because I was away from work and they told me just to send an email to Chuck the owner. The next month I got charged so I call the facility and they told me they were going to send a message to Chuck to resolve the issue. I said ok no problem. A month passes and I get charged again. I call the gym again the third time, they tell me I'm lucky because the guy is there to resolve the issue in person that he is going to call me back. (He never does..) So now I'm mad. I call in and demand they get him on the phone so I can at least get my card off the file so they can stop taking my money. Chuck sends me an email that they are finally going to freeze my account and get refunded for those two months. I call in because I want to cancel my membership and not do any business there anymore and Chuck picks up and tells me I need to apologize to the staff.. I tell em: Dude cancel my membership I'm not apologizing. Facility is ok as long as you don't have to interact with the staff there.

My son attended a one-day camp here, 8am-3pm. He did express that he had a good time, so that was a plus. However, I was disappointed to find that he did not eat a single thing for 7 hours. The lunch and snacks I packed for him were left completely intact. It looked like it had never even been opened. I spoke to the manager and owner, and their reply was that they don't force-feed the kids if they don't want to eat. In addition to actual lunch, plenty of snacks were left untouched in the bag. In 6 years, I've never had to force-feed my kid yogurt, bananas, or granola bars. If they're going to care for kindergarteners, there needs to be some kind of care involved to ensure they have something to eat over an entire day.

I strongly discourage anyone from attending this gymnastic place. The most unprofessional, disorganized, and unreliable business I have ever encountered. Specially one that is dedicated to children. My 8 year old had been attending this gymnastics place for 8 months and has barely learned anything. She’s been through 5 coaches in 8 months. The only coach who was any good, was moved to another age group after a month. They then didn’t have a stable coach for two months. In the meantime the substitute coaches were no good and would basically just have them jump the trampoline for 45 mins. I inquired about private lessons for months and was only given a call back when I said I was pulling my daughter out of the school. First private lesson I paid for a full hour and the coach got there late and only received a 30 min lesson. Second private lesson, I called to confirm the day before and was told it was all set, yet when we arrived, there was no one there. 20 mins later someone arrived and we are told the coach didn’t know about the private lesson. I’m now waiting for a refund and will be looking for a more dependable gymnastics school.

I initially came for the concierge physical therapy and Joann was excellent! Joann diagnosed my issue right away and created a plan that I could work on from home and while on vacation. Through my PT journey, I started doing Pilates again at Sensory and the Pilates studio is beautiful, clean, and the teachers are excellent. They have a ton of classes that focus on different disciplines which keeps the classes really fresh and engaging. They also have a ton of equipment - so all the bells and whistles when it comes to reformer Pilates. The workouts are just phenomenal, I’m so happy I’m doing Pilates at this studio. Oh and they play normal sound level music throughout class to create a fun/relaxing vibe. If you live in Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, the Falls this is a great place to do Pilates versus traveling to south Miami or the grove.

Before becoming a member I did not have a history of visiting gyms. I did not come with any knowhow of lifting weights or how to even spell pilates. I do not consider Sensory Fitness a gym but a safe space for me and members to find balance through their many services. Today I am 30+ lbs lighter at my best physical and mental shape, the very opposite condition I arrived at. I celebrate two years this November! Maintaining a healthy weight isn't the only thing I learned. I live by their mantra: that Challenge Creates Change and that balance is vital to our personal goal setting. The environment, atmosphere, and care at this establishment are unmatched. What is more impressive to me is that after 2 years, the same instructors that introduced me to the world of living healthy are still here walking me through every move. Each person working at Sensory Fitness contributes in some way to you reaching your goal. I started by going 3 days a week for several months. I suggest starting with a few pilates courses. This is where I learned to breathe properly and work on my core. Now I take their Sweat (HIT) classes almost daily. If you are looking to invest time into yourself then Sensory should be one of your top options. Message me if you have any questions about my time here.

I have been coming to this gym for more than one year, and this is maybe one of the most friendly and cleanest gyms I have ever been, the people working here and amazing, starting with Rosa, who keeps the gym spotless. You can use the floor to exercise knowing that it is perfectly clean, plus she is a ray of sunshine, always has a smile and a good morning, yes she works in the mornings. The gym is organized, and again, the people who are coming and working here make it even better.

I have gone to this gym for 3 years and generally was a good experience. I recently started using another gym and would not come often to this PF gym. My problem here is the process of cancelling the membership. I called them and a girl answered the phone (I wish I had gotten her name), I asked if I can cancel my membership and she said I would have to “come in person and sign some documents.” I said “Okay, I will come right now to cancel it” I live less than 10 minutes away from the gym so it was no problem to go in person. I drive there and enter the gym. I see the girl and greeted her and asked if it was her that I spoke to about canceling my membership. She said yes, but then adds, “Oh but the manager just left” and that she was not allowed to cancel my membership. When she told me that I asked her again, “Was it not you that I spoke to on the phone?” And she said “Yeah”. A complete waste of my time and lack of consideration. This was clearly done on purpose so I would not be able to cancel the membership and continue paying. I had to call my bank and explain the situation in order to stop the payments.

This gym is probably one of the worst gyms I've been to. The staff are really nice and they try their best, but the patrons are completely disrespectful of the place. People leaves dumb bells and plates around. People leave their used paper towels everywhere. The bathroom is disgusting. I feel that staff should pressure the patrons to re rack and clean after themselves. We're all adults here and we shouldn't have to be cleaning up after other people. The gym needs to be bigger for the volume of people that it services. The parking lot definitely needs to be bigger. I only come here out or convenience.

Edit: adding on to my review here as I really tried to give this place a chance. Super expensive for the low end product they produce. In the 4 months since my last review I have cancelled my membership, there has been no improvements on cleaning like promised. It’s actually gotten worse. Bathrooms and showers are dirtier than ever before, equipment is in even worse shape, and the sauna is disgusting, and literally falling apart. Plus it’s never on. If you want to use the sauna you have to go out to the front desk and ask them to turn it on or if you’re in the sauna and it turns off you have to call the front desk. Unfortunately this gym has continued to go downhill at a rapid pace and done nothing to improve with membership fees continuing to sky rocket. Hours are cut so it’s no longer 24/7. Only Monday-Thursday so for many working people it’s no longer useful. Eos now has a super awesome and clean sauna, showers, and 24/7 for $10 a month. I sincerely hope UFC figures this out as I would love to return to this gym someday because I really enjoyed my time here but unfortunately as much as I’ve tried to continue to justify paying the higher price, I just can’t anymore and had to leave. It’s just a disgusting, dirty, and outdated gym with missed potential. Hopefully one day it’ll be under new management or ownership and fix its deep problems but who knows. For now there’s many better and more affordable options.

I had an amazing experience with Reilly as my boxing class trainer. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, making each session both challenging and fun. Reilly was patient and attentive, ensuring I understood each technique and pushing me to improve every time. His positive attitude and dedication to his clients are truly inspiring. If you're looking for a top-notch boxing trainer, Reilly is the one to go to! I recently had the pleasure of working with Andrew to set up my gym membership, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Andrew was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand my fitness goals and budget, and he went above and beyond to find the best deal for me. His knowledge and dedication made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. If you're looking for exceptional customer service, Andrew is the person to talk to!

THE WORST!! The front desk Jacqueline is BEYOND rude and disrespectful. Would not be a member here solely because of front desk. Head down street to EOS were the staff is respectful. You would think for the price UFC would hire staff with manners.

The staff are so friendly and respectful, so many different and flexible pricing packages, clean, welcoming, great location and even the smoothies are awesome. I’ve never been treated bad, looked down upon, by the staff or members. Great for kids and teens also. Ms. Andrea R is so helpful, fast and knowledgeable. She is everywhere in this place usually with the phone on her ear helping someone while still working the front desk also. She takes the time to answer all your questions and fit you properly for your BJJ gi. Instructors for the martial arts classes are experienced and helpful and welcoming. I love this place. It doesn’t even feel like a gym, it feels like a hangout spot that happens to be gym with everything you will ever need. Coach Victor is one badass dude and makes BJJ so much fun.

This particular facility is so disorganized when it comes to the dumbbells. The staff should do a better job on organizing the dumbbells from small to big this way. My workouts won’t take twice as long since I have to look for and scavenge throughout the facility. The up keeping/maintenance of the equipment is low. The backboard of one of the benchpress it’s not level due to damages. Cushions on some of the machines are also teared and broken. Not sure why I’m paying the annual fee if nothing is being done. I hope they can do better. It’s sad with such much potential on that location.

Here's a review you can use for AMPED Fitness: --- I’ve been a member at AMPED Fitness for a while now, and overall, the gym has what I need in terms of equipment. The machines I use are available most of the time, and if they’re not, I can easily find alternatives to accomplish my workout goals for the day. No complaints there. Cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms and showers is an issue. I usually go between 6-8 AM, and the bathrooms are consistently dirty. Both the toilet and shower stalls. The showers are often unkept, with hair on the walls and floors clogging the drains. On top of that, there always seem to be fruit flies in the shower stalls, which is pretty off-putting. I hope AMPED Fitness can address these issues to make the experience better for all members.

DO NOT COME TO THIS GYM! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I started at amped about a year ago and I got a trainer. The guy told me whenever I wanted to cancel to just let him know and that it would be no problem. The original trainer I had left and then I got another guy and then he left also. I expressed that I wanted to cancel and they said it was fine. Months later I get a call from collections saying I owe $600 dollars. I went into the gym and spoke with a manager and did a buyout of $180. They told me I would never be charged again and that the training was cancelled. I was hoping that would be the end of it. A couple days ago I get a charge of $90 so I come into the gym today and speak to a manager and he told me I still owed two payments. This place is a SCAM. I paid what was due and canceled my membership. The manager pretty much didn’t care about anything I had to say and still insisted I had to pay. If I did a buy out how is it that I still have to pay for a training membership I do not have????? There are way better gym who won’t treat you like this and run your card without consent.

They only have 3 working stair masters out of 5. They don’t have enough plates for their machines in the lifting area. The ac ventilation is trash so you will feel like you are suffocating during rush hour. This location is pretty trash. The only plus is the 24 hour access (when their mobile access works) Update: this place is pretty ghetto. People that don’t even have memberships use this place at night when the staff is gone. Someone literally brought their entire family in here to goof around while people are working out. If you are paying for your membership you are getting ripped off. Yikes and they harass black members that aren’t white I guess for not re racking weights in the time they like. Pretty nasty establishment.

I’m give a review specifically for the front desk employee Leah Fernandez, I created my account originally with another employee but it turns out it was completely created. Leah helped me finish setting up my account and answering all my questions. I appreciate this staff member a lot for giving me another perspective on this gym. The gym has great equipment and is clean I enjoy it, but I wanted to leave this review because she help me a lot when it Comes to my plan and the amenities for the gym.
