Best Gym near Las-vegas, Nevada

For anyone who thinks this gym is small, overpriced, or has rude staff, those are misconceptions! I’ve been a member for a year, and I’ve never encountered any issues whatsoever. I genuinely appreciate the staff here; they’re always friendly and welcoming, which every gym should do anyway! The prices are reasonable, unless you opt for personal training. If personal training isn't in your budget, I’d recommend skipping that option. Overall, I rate this gym a solid 10/10! Much love to the EOS staff!

My lord, let me start with saying that this is the best gym I’ve been to in a long time. I’ve been working out for almost 10 years hopping from gym to gym and not being able to find anything that makes me happy. I’ve always been skeptical about switching to this commercial gym but it was easily the best experience I’ve ever had working out. The staff is incredibly friendly, the amenities are amazing, and the machines are just perfect. Special shout out to Ananda for being such a great help in making my membership and being such a hard worker and an even greater person.

Being new to working out this location goes above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy, comfortable, and clean. Checking in is always a pleasure when Eva greets me with a smile at the front desk. Having a facility close by that has all the machinery and equipment to do my workouts makes it all so much more enjoyable. Keep up the good work EOS!

Busy at all times; don't fall into the trap that it's emptier at certain times. No, it's not! And for a tiny gym with little variety of amenities and machines, 2 dozen people inside are enough for everything to be occupied. I stayed there for 12 days, and in at least 4 I returned home because I had no place to do my stuff. Even explaining all this and trying not to pay the annual fee for a mere 8-12 days of use, the initial speech that "at EoS we are a family" quickly changed to "I can't do anything about it". Costs: $29.99 just to be admitted $9.99 first month $69.99 annual fee $9.99 second month TOTAL: $119.96. FOR 12 DAYS!!! Stay away from this gym.

Saw the manager cleaning the machines his self. I was very impressed. This gym is well kept, fully equipped and in a great location. I was very pleased with my visit. Thank you

Had a great time at this club and it was my first time there . Nice facility but I don't like the way its structured and the shower didn't give much heat with the hot water on . Everyone was working out , friendly but taking care of business . I enjoy my workouts there

I am very disappointed in this company. I went to an interview and after waiting for over an hour for Philip to come, I decided to leave because they already set the temperature for working there. I figured it was better to just leave because I would have quit soon after. I was also thinking of getting a membership there but I would never give these people my money. Planet Fitness should employ responsible and respectful people.

I'm a member of the club since August 2023.(Agreement Number: 31623). there was no issue till September 2024 with membership charges. After that I'm getting late fees every other day despite of the fact that I've 3 different accounts on the file and there is no any issue/blocker from the bank side and all of them has sufficient amount in it. I'm tired to call back to the club every single day to ask to waive the fees, to argue with them but there is no any solution yet. Probably I'm about to quit my membership with Planet Fitness

I love that this location is not too far from where I live, making it just that more motivating to workout. I like that it’s never too crowded and I’m able to get in and out. No complaints.

It has what you need. We were here for a few weeks and they really helped us out with options for membership. Service is fantastic, I love the employees. My only qualm was they didn’t have barbells, but I should’ve done my research beforehand. Also, what’s up with calling certain people “lunk” and having an alarm for it? It’s a form of judgment to - even if jokingly - sound off an alarm just because someone grunts while working out.

I love the atmosphere. The staff are very gregarious, and helpful. I love how they know your name, well some of them and use it. I believe I have found Mrs. Randall there. If she would only say hello. I am in love and thank you for the pass. Oh, and change the music station. 😘

Definitely delighted with the management and staff at the Nellis PF. They are constantly asking for feedback and seeking ways to improve and support customers. Being greeted with a big smile and welcome is always special when you enter the facilty.

I like this location for the most part but it can be really busy. A lot of people at this location do not wipe down the equipment when they are done with it so I recommend always wiping equipment before you use it as well as after you use it. I have had a problem with girls taking photos and videos in the restroom/locker room which I have reported to staff and staff does not seem to care so if others taking photos and videos of you in the bathroom bothers you, you probably should not go to this location. They also have an issue with keeping womens restroom clean and stocked with paper towels.

Something in my mind I never do my entire life which I am told to do. The gym equipment are broken, while some equipment, particularly the treadmills, only operate by simply get on the machine and make it work, including the bicycle and the escalators. Besides, the gym environment is superannuated, in terms of how old this facility is. I don't enjoy much of the workout routine. And to be clear, there is too much distraction going on around me.

Don’t know a better gym I’ve ever been to for under $20. You get more than what you pay for. Locker room needs updating but no big deal. Love this place. Staff is great. Environment is friendly.

I been coming to this gym for 2 years, I absolutely love the atmosphere in this gym everyone is super friendly. The employees Jenni, Maria are always helpful. Laura the manager is always making sure the gym is running smoothly. I highly recommend this gym!

Pretty much the “east side” gym. I paid about $50 for a sign up fee and $19 a month (I think…). The price is well worth it if you live on the east side and want to go somewhere convenient and close. Just don’t expect Equinox and be reasonable. Pros are that this gym is 24/7, the key fob really makes it a safe place to come. Also a lot of equipment the machines are all pretty much Matrix brand which are on the way cheaper end but a few plate loaded machines make up for it. Has more bench press stations than it does squat racks and smith machines which is odd. The music they play is pretty good, mostly hip hop and reggaeton not the pop stuff you normally hear in commercial gyms. I found myself taking off the headphones and just listening time to time. People definitely don’t put plates back and the free weights are a bit disorganized but that’s because most of the clientele are high school boys working out with their amigos. They’ve been doing construction and use a big black tapestry to cover it and it’s pretty ugly to be honest. Really makes the gym look cheaper than it actually is. There’s a vegas discount nutrition in the gym which is super convenient to grab protein. The best part of the gym is that there’s no contract. You can cancel such a 31 days notice if your monthly payment

Honestly, I would only recommend this gym to others in the local area if it's your only budget and you have no other choice. Other than that if you are willing to drive a little more do it. Besides the features it used to have not being available. It's feels like you are working out outside during summer and that's vegas heat I'm speaking of. I can't tell if the owner turns the a/c on. It's decent but could use lots of improvements. At the very least turning on the a/c regardless of the capacity and especially with the summer heat. It's always unpredictable besides cleanliness if you are going to have a good workout. Personally, I know several other members that feel they can't workout the way they want to due to the heat in here on top of the heat they produce with movement. If I were to push myself the way I would normally do, in this heat I would feel sick from the heat and probably pass out. It is known that this building can handle better a/c conditions considering the previous name of this establishment (24 hr fitness). This gym is for you if you like a free sauna.

Best gym around! So glad I found such a supportive community and the coaches are the best they all make you feel welcomed. So if you are looking for a gym give this one a try. 1st class is free and you won’t regret it.

Black box is such a great experience! The week leading to my sign up was intimidating but I don’t know what I was stressing!! They have been always so welcoming and encouraging throughout the workouts! The hour goes by so fast and it feels like a nightclub with all the lights off and having the disco lights. No regrets!

Black Box Gym is a top-notch fitness facility. The coaches are exceptional, they take the time to guide each individual through workouts with precision and care. They create a welcoming environment that feels like a second family. At Black Box, the pressure is off, making it enjoyable to break a sweat and push personal limits. Highly recommend the coaches and the overall experience!

We dropped in for the weekend while we were visiting Las Vegas and felt right at home. The coaches were wonderful and made our visit special and gave us some great workouts. Had a great time and a new experience with the dimmed lights and pumping music. So amazing!

Black Box Gym is awesome. The coaches really focus on you, helping out with form and keeping you motivated. It's like being part of a big fitness family there. The vibe is friendly and supportive, making workouts something to look forward to. Definitely a great spot for a fun and effective fitness journey!

This planet fitness is great because it's a 24 hour location. The staff members are phenomenal, friendly and on point ☝️! This facility is always clean , well lit and the air conditioning is wonderful. There are usually not too many people here at any time of the day and I've been here all times of the day and week . It's a good way to get cardio with plenty of exercise bikes , treadmills , row machine , stairs climbers and more. It has ESPN and all the basic sports cable channels displaying. There's a place to stretch, do calisthenics and yoga . This planet fitness could use a little more equipment but overall I enjoyed it

I've joined planet fitness about 5 times or more. That should tell you how Great it is. It has a very comfortable atmosphere. You can exercise, tan, massage chair or just read a book. I love it and pray 🙏 to get my finances and time balanced out to take care of my health at 55 years of age.

This is my local PF; so it's a point of convenience for me. Sure there are homeless around but I haven't seen them inside so it's non-issue for me really. Most reviews are 3+ years ago so it may have been worse then. Anyway, it's clean, you can workout there and they just put in new machines. Enjoy it.

Today I had a bathroom emergency need. I am a member. And the store manager female. Without a business card was rude and unprofessional. She says. " if would benefit you" if I listened to her aggressive unprofessional tone I would like a store owner or district manager to contact me or leave info here. This is a horrible representation for your store.

Better service at the front desk. I don't typically patronize this location, however a friend wanted to show me their gym. The guy at the front was simply rude with his tone, inattentive to our questions and was on his phone not wanting to be bothered. The 2 extra stars given are due to the location being clean.

I love it here. My kids do also my kids did six weeks for the summer program. It was amazing. Everyone was beyond nice. Very easy process. I love being able to work out on my own time rock climbing wall outdoor area. The pool was amazing during the summer

I know they do a lot of good work for communities everywhere but this location is so dated. The layout is very strange, it's mixed in, confusingly, with an international school? For gender diverse travelers... are 4 (maybe 5) single private bathroom/showers but don't even bother... the showers are gone and that area of the building looks like it's out of a 90s survival video game

No private showers and the showers they do have only have cold water with the exception of 2. One is moderately warm. The other is hot but doesn't stay on for more than 5 seconds before you need to hit the button again and there's no shower head. They don't have basketballs laying out to use on the courts either. The weight room is nice but I wish the dumbells increased by 2.5lbs instead of 5lbs.

Best family gym ever! First they have many family events such as Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas. The pool has an adult slide, kids slide and much much more. Bigger kids can exercise in the gym equipment area with adult supervision. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like family. I highly recommend YMCA especially if you have kids. There are many sports, education and other learning programs for adults and kids. Don't forget Parents Night Out!

Sizeable free weight and Precor machine workout room. A few machines are missing (lat pulldown cable) but you'll still find what you need. Elizabeth has the warmest welcome of any Y. Thanks!

I would have given it more stars, but the facility is small compared to other modern places. It has very limited massage and sun tanning beds. John/AM and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The place is very clean and well equipped, the shower has NO HOT WATER and is small, a SAFE location; the Place needs MODERNIZATION !!!!

I moved to this area in July. One of the team members helped me make the move to this location. I really like this gym. It is always clean. The support guys always greet you and say goodbye with a smile. The bathrooms are clean and the equipment works perfectly. I have been to several locations, and this is one of the best. Thank you very much!

One of the older locations and due for a remodel of the the Black Card area this one still uses tokens for the massage chairs. That's how old it is. The other locations have Hydroloungers as well as more equipment and new massage chairs. This location upon entry smells like a urinal. When you lay down in the massage bed it smells like the exhaust from the bathroom vents right on to you. If you can deal with that this is the location for you.

PF on Decatur Blvd was a wonderful experience. Staff were super friendly. Gym was super clean and organized. Machines worked great about 99% of the time. Even shower area was super clean. I would highly recommend PF's Decatur Blvd location to anyone. Everyone feels like they belong here as they do not allow showing off via slamming weights here. Only reason I left is I moved to Los Angeles and transferred my membership, Thanks everyone for a wonderful gym experience. Bob

My wife and I are dues paying members for over 4 years. One of the “perks” is being allowed to have a guest. She and her son (who is visiting from Europe) were denied entry because he didn’t bring his passport along. To exercise. Apparently the front desk considers themselves Homeland Security agents. Absolutely ridiculous! There’s a fundamental contradiction here, either you entrust active members when they present their ID to responsibly invite a guest (that you brag about during orientation) or you do not trust your members. There’s no other conclusion. It’s a gym, not a bank. He wasn’t going to get far stealing dumbbells. I’m considering canceling my membership. This is pure ego at the front desk and there’s other options throughout Las Vegas.

Low price gym. You Get what you pay for at this place. Manage your expectations! Im trying to cancel my month to month membership however they make it very challenging to cancel and have to jump through hoops to cancel a simple membership. It’s funny cause it was so simple to sign up.

Been a member for several years and have been mostly happy. The pooks and hot tub are only open. A few hours everyday due to corporate being unwilling to pay a lifeguard. I see the women's locker room getting lots of cleaning attention and there is sanitizing spray and paper towels in many areas. I stopped going to spin because even with ear plugs I left class with my ears ringing- too damn loud, even the cool downs are ear drum popping loud. The dirtiest part is the parking lot where bad customers drop plastic and aluminum, weed containers and take out food. I can always find an open machine and there are many, many options for all kinds of workouts and classes. Though I think aqua classes are also cancelled because of life guard issue

The equipment is outdated and poorly maintained, which makes workouts frustrating. The customer service is unhelpful and lacks professionalism. I expected much better and will be considering other options.”

Terrible nasty gym. Quitting the gym is an ordeal. They require “notice” through their billing department so they can keep their grubby hands in your wallet as long as they can. Predatory company. Very unethical. I highly recommend avoiding this gym. Also the FTC will make it a requirement for companies to have a “click to cancel” button for their membership in April 2025.

Fantastic gym to visit while on vacation if you’re heavy into powerlifting or compound lifts. The week pass was easy to get and it’s 24/7 access. Very well kept, organized, and PLENTY and I mean PLENTY of combo racks for those who are specific.

The best powerlifting gym in Vegas, BY FAR. PERIOD. The community is tight knit but extremely welcoming. The best of the best powerlifting standard equipment, including competition kilo plates, bars, and collars from brands like Eleiko, Hansu, Kabuki, etc. Very affordable compared to a lot of other private gyms and the owners and even the members were always be willing to help out however you need. I love this Gym!

I’ve been a member for 5 months since moving here. If you’re serious about powerlifting/strength training this is the only place to be in Las Vegas. The environment is unmatched as well as the knowledge of those in the gym. Best gym in Vegas

My favorite powerlifting gym! The energy amazing on Monday and friday afternoons! But if you need a calm gym setting its not many people earlier in the day 10am to 3pm.

Great gym, love the atmosphere. Got a great pump in with their awesome equipment. It through me off because there wasn't anyone at the desk and it's like a members only gym. The good thing is the owner called me and I got to train there. It's definitely a hardcore, which I love!!

Hardcore gym that is only a few years old but is already legendary. One if the best gyms i have been to. Small space but has all equipment and free weights to have an awesome training session. Dumbbells go up to 200lb. Very motivating environment in case you need extra motivation. Will be back for sure next time I'm in Vegas. Was worth the 20 minute Lyft ride from the hotel to train here. Offers daily passes for visitors.

Was on a trip out in Vegas & came across this gym , has everything you need . Very old school , definitely gives that intense gym vibe, it gets you pumped . Great gym overall !

A great place to do work . Plenty of machines and plates and leave tour phone in your car. Put in work!!
