Very beautiful and large course! There are two courses here and you can spend a lot of time getting through them. The greenery is spectacular. The courses are challenging but fun. Golf carts are well taken care of but we did get one slightly wonky one. We all had a blast and cannot thank Stonebriar enough! The facilities overall are very well kept. Very clean and spacious. Inside has plenty of space as well for events. I would highly recommend this course. They are particular about the dress code so make sure you review before going!

Attended a Holiday Luncheon. The service was great, food good. 15 Spice Salmon Salad. Upon arriving the tone was set regarding the clientele. As I was walking in, an old, much of a very elderly man, advised me that it was his vehicle I walked near (not sure at the time why he engaged in a very insignificant conversation). My reply, was limited, adding nice car. His next reply was, "you can take it and wash it". Again, not sure why he felt a need to engage in a very unwanted, insignificant conversation with me, for I was not dressed like one working in that career, nor looked as though I was working in that industry. Totally insulting. Again, his lack of character let's one know some of the clientele the venue attracts.

Just wanted to leave a shout out to Thane. He's an awesome salesman/employee at CF Frisco! Kind, friendly, professional and definitely not pushy. I read some of the other reviews about jerks who worked there but, since CF is so close to home, I had to judge for myself. Gotta take what you read with a little grain of salt. I did my research and asked what the policy was before I signed up. It was pretty straight forward. Gym is clean and not crazy packed when I go which is roughly after 8pm. I hear it does get packed after 5pm, though. Overall, nice gym. Glad I joined. A new CF opened in Plano, so to potential new members, if you live within 15min of that new location, go there! Will be a new gym and not so crowded!

After the demise of Texas Family Fitness via absorbtion by Planet Fitness, and having tried what was supposed to be my new gym with Planet Fitness, I felt that I needed to go with another option. Fortunately, there was a well maintained Crunch Fitness relatively close by. I am impressed with the Crunch Fitness in Frisco, and after quite a few years of gym experience (free weights and machine weights mostly) at Texas Family Fitness, and having tried other gyms in the past, I found this gym to be pretty excellent. It's because of a few appealing qualities that add up: It's really big and really well equipped for a gym. This means that I was able to find just about every piece of gym equipment I could think of, and there were several multiples of almost each piece of equipment. This all seems to add up to not having to worry about waiting in line to use equipment, even when the gym is busy. The atmosphere is appealing. It has a sort of "big open loft" feel to the space, and the colors of the interior decoration/wall paint is actually kinda nice, rather than bland like most gyms. The equipment itself all seems to be kept up with and maintained better than what I experienced at Texas Family Fitness, such as all of the cable machines pulling smoothly and without "jerking/skips" hindering the motion of the pull. There is a slight increase in price for the base membership compared to what I was paying at Texas Family Fitness, but it is pretty much negligible and worth it compared to the quality difference between the two gyms. I'm sure there are some cons to be found somewhere, but can't think of any just yet, other than Preston Road being annoying and necessary to deal with in order to get to this gym. I'm pretty happy with this gym.

I've enjoyed going to this gym a lot. It's spacious on the inside. Each sections is dedicated for each training goal. The workout areas are always clean and well maintained. The restroom can use the same treatment, though. It's smelly in there. Front desk is attentive and friendly. Too bad I am moving away and have to cancel my membership. They charge me a last month of membership even though I can't use it anymore.

Worst than a used car lot. Their management style is “bother customers every day to buy something”. Garbage environment too. There’s 30 better gyms than this in frisco. Still getting charged even tho I cancelled.

It’s a nice, clean gym with good facilities, but the weekend hours are very inconvenient. Closing early on weekends causes overcrowding before closing time, making it almost impossible to find equipment to work out. Extending weekend hours or better managing the crowd would greatly improve the experience. I hope management takes this into consideration.

Really horrible gym. The management is greedy and money hungry and only care about memberships they sell they do not care about the safety of their members . The equipment is old and dirty and mostly broken. The bathrooms are disgusting. And the gym closes early. I have not seen them adding any new equipments in the last couple years. Jason the new GM is horrible. And will not listen to the members when they bring up issues in the gym.

Would give 0 stars if possible. New management is horrible and they are impossible to get ahold of for anything. DO NOT JOIN HERE, they make canceling a nightmare and you have to go in person to do it. They never answer calls or emails, and they do not care about their members whatsoever. Gym overall is okay but it does not justify the price at all. Avoid this gym and go to literally any other one cause this gym will always be a terrible experience unless something changes.

I paid $1500 for 30 training sessions upfront and it’s been over a month and no one will return my texts for me to be able to use my sessions. I’ve asked for help at the desk but they tell me they can’t ask the trainers to return my texts??? At this point I just want my money back.

I’ve been attending this gym for a little while now and have had mix feelings on it. The gym is always clean, the atmosphere is great and i’ve never had a bad experience with any of the employees. But still I give it a 3 out of 5 stars and it could just be personal preferences. i’d say it’s a decent sized gym and decent equipment but nothing that’s stands out from any other gym. which is okay but for the price it wouldn’t be my first recommendation at all. another thing that kinda upset is today is the day before thanksgiving and they closed at 5 which i think is just silly. especially because the majority of people go after work. I’m all for closing on big holidays like thanksgiving but i don’t really see the reason on closing early the day before thanksgiving. I do enjoy things gym most of the time but if you’re someone who enjoys working out consistently and doesn’t want to spend $100 a month then i wouldn’t recommend this gym for you.

I am a legally blind soccer player and I came to this location out of a recommendation. I had the opportunity to work with a trainer named Bella. She was great! The facilities there are impressive. At one point; however, I had a very negative experience. I felt judged and humiliated. I was using the power outlet near the entrance to charge my phone and I was approached by security and staff that someone expressed concern about my behavior. All that I did was approach the turf. From a couple feet away from the turf, I observed the high school football players train. I communicated with a staff member that was next to me admiring the students training. It seemed evident that this staff member didn’t want to communicate after I made 1-2 comments so I returned back to my phone. Soon after, security and staff expressed that there was a complaint. I definitely do not feel comfortable going back anytime soon. I will happily choose to train elsewhere.

Sports academy has been the best experience!! I started about a year ago and have seen so much improvement in my personal physical goals. My awesome coach Bayleigh Wheat has been the absolute best I always love seeing her. She pushes me to be my best, but always pays attention to my safety and comfort. The staff at Sports Academy goes above and beyond to make sure everything is clean, safe, and a great environment. If I am ever bothered or uncomfortable about something, I know I could ask and they would do everything they can to make sure I’m comfortable. They have my highest recommendation. The equipment is extremely advanced and well kept, and the recovery equipment is extremely helpful. I appreciate everything the staff has done for me and will always value the relationships I have built there. Love them so much!!

I was so excited as both of my 4 year old grandsons were signed up for Junior Rookies Hockey Camp. I live in Allen and not being familiar with Frisco left early for grandsons fitting appointment. I arrived at 6 pm and knew I was early however, I went up to the desk for directions to the fitting area. Tommy Evanyk was behind the desk, he looked at me and said in a very unfriendly tone, “you’re an hour early!” I advised that I realized that and that I just needed to know where to go so we could be ready. He was extremely unprofessional and not nice and totally ruined our experience. He pointed to a young lady beside him and said, “when it’s time this girl will give you information.” I said ok and asked his name to which he replied , “Tommy Evanyk and I run this camp. I’ll give you my card if you want to report me.” I advised I didn’t need his card to report him. Terrible people skills!

Love this rink, I go there to figure skate all the time. It's the closest one to me and I've never had a problem there. The ice is always clean before a session, the staff are always courteous at the desk, it's not usually very crowded, and the skaters actually seem to respect each other's space. They could work on their etiquette on the phone as I've called up to ask them questions before and they always seem to be in a hurry to hang up, and have lied to me before because they don't know how their own online sign up process works, but it's usually kids running the desk so I always take what they say with a grain of salt and the understanding that this might be their first job.

The good - ice is almost always resurfaced prior to public skate sessions and even on hot summer days it holds up well. The BAD - sometimes about one-third of the ice is blocked off for parties or other reasons. If you prefer to skate on the entire ice sheet, this may not be your best option.

I joined Orange Theory Fitness when I was looking for that extra motivation in my workouts, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and at ease, never feeling out of place. The sense of community here is evident, fostered through challenges, themed workouts, member socials, and celebrating individual milestones and birthdays. Whether you're new or a regular, you're made to feel like part of the family, with no pressure to participate in activities that aren't your cup of tea. The gym's culture is warm and inviting, with the front desk team always greeting you by name and the coaches taking the time to get to know each member personally. They also take care to understand any orthopedic concerns you may have, ensuring a tailored and safe fitness experience. It's clear that they care about creating a supportive and friendly environment for everyone. What sets OTF apart for me is the variety in their classes. Whether it's strength training, 90-minute sessions, or group workouts, there's always something new to keep me engaged. The ever-changing workout templates ensure that I never get bored, helping me stay consistent and accountable in my fitness journey. Overall, Orange Theory Fitness has been a game-changer for me, providing not just a great workout but also a community that motivates and supports each other. If you're looking for a gym that feels like home, look no further than OTF Frisco on Main Street.

I’ve been working out at this studio since 2015. It’s a great way to get a full body workout. The coaches are well trained. I appreciate how they watch my form. So I don’t injure myself. Julia is new to our studio and is on it when watching form. I love that and really appreciate it. I don’t know how the coaches can watch form and call out instructions to different groups all at the same time but they do and they do it well. My entire family goes to OTF. My daughter’s one in Chicago and one in DC. And my husband and I in Frisco and Leander. I highly recommend OTF it is for every fitness level.

So train your employees to explain it clearly to the customers. One employee said that an adult just being present at the OT while their 14 year old is joined is enough. One employee said you need to take the membership and accompany your 14 old while he or she is doing the workout. One employee insulted us because we asked questions as we were unable to understand the process. ******Also, why did you take the fees or accept the fees when a membership is bought only for the 14 year old and not for any adult. Didn’t the OT management know at the time that there should be 2 memberships together as it is 14 year old for whom the membership has been paid for ????*****££ It’s just a way to rob money. Honestly speaking this is not about whether we are getting a refund or not, this is about how cunning your management is. ***BOTTOM LINE- JUST WANT TO CAUTION PEOPLE WHO PLAN TO JOIN ORANGE THEORY. ***

This gym is the newest around Frisco/Plano. They really had a good opportunity to keep this gym clean and organized. Though this gym is closest to my house, I still drive 7 to 10 miles to other locations. The Sauna has been closed for almost a year. The gym is mostly clean, but the facility is smallest compared to other LA fitness of surrounding areas. Also, the worst part of this gym is, the crowd, not trying to sound rude, but this gym equipment is always occupied by a group of people who hardly workout they just sit on engage equipment, talking to each other and on the phone mostly. They use the weights and never re-rack the weights. Overall they have a good opportunity to improvise but, I guess management knew that, they don't have to do anything, people from neighbouring area continue to come irrespective of how bad and unclean the gym maybe.

I had a terrible experience with LA Fitness, particularly with their customer service. Before signing up, they seem accommodating, but once you sign, they make it nearly impossible to cancel or pause a training membership. When I joined, a trainer mentioned a three-month contract, something that was never disclosed during sign-up. The staff rushed my friend and me to sign, vaguely explaining the details and failing to mention any contractual obligations. They assured us we could “give it a try” and promised we could reduce, pause, or cancel sessions at any time. Later, I found out this wasn’t true—they said we could only increase sessions and that pausing wasn’t allowed. On another occasion, I was told by a different trainer that I could pause the membership by claiming I was going on vacation. The inconsistency in their policies and explanations is frustrating and unprofessional. This isn’t my first negative experience with LA Fitness. Last year, I was paying $90 per month for a membership, and when I brought it up this year, they denied having such a membership. Once again, they told me I had to pay for an entire six months of training, even if I didn’t use it—even though their employee didn’t even mention that I was signing a contract. I wish I had left a review at that time and not given LA Fitness another chance. If you’re considering joining LA Fitness, be very cautious. Always get any promises or agreements in writing because verbal assurances mean nothing. I won’t be trusting them again.

I used to love this location, and I actually drove out of my way in order to regularly work out here back when I lived in the area. Every time I visited for the holidays prior to moving, they would welcome me back after signing up for a guest pass. However after walking in today with a guest pass, I was greeted with Jonathan Richards, their sales manager, who turned me away at every opportunity. Even after telling them that I was a former employee for LA Fitness, he still shut me down by telling me to pay up 20 bucks for entry. His failure for flexibility and willingness to accommodate for customers, especially former employees, is the reason why neither I nor my friends will be working out here in the future.
Mitul Gupta (Google User)

Stupid gym. The guest pass policy is inconsistent with what the online portal says and even if I scan in, they won’t let me in because I “have to take a tour of the facilities” and schedule in advance when I want to work out. Don’t come here if you want to use a guest pass because its not really a pass just a forced sales tactic like a timeshare.

I joined OTF just over a year ago, and it has been life changing! I never liked working out and had a hard time motivating myself. The OTF community is so inspiring and the coaches are great and push you to be your best. I spent most of this year pregnant and worked out up until about three weeks before my due date. The coaches helped me modify the workouts as I got farther along, and because of these workouts I was able to be back in the studio less than two months after giving birth! My only regret is that I didn’t find OTF sooner. I look forward to coming here for my workouts.

The staff are friendly, recognize me by name, and provide encouragement. It’s really helpful when you’re tired and have low motivation to workout! The music is upbeat and I always get a decent sweaty workout! I like the option to do unlimited workouts, 2x/ week or 1x/week workout. And you can get class packs at a discounted bulk price. There are monthly themes and challenges. There’s a variety of people who workout here (women and men, younger and older folks). If you’re worried if it’s too hard, it can be adjusted according to your fitness level. Modified exercises are usually an option. Conversely, if you’re worried that it’ll be too easy, the challenge is to compete against yourself, provide encouragement to your peers, get a new PR, and get in more reps/weight/distance, etc. First class is free and the coach explains the hear rate interval training method. Lots of class times available, especially before and after work! Studio locations are all over the country so you can get a good workout in even while traveling.

We’ve been at this gym location for 10 years and have enjoyed the consistent friendly staff (GM Greg, Cody, Caitlyn, Jerald, & Joe) and the upgrades to the facility! It’s not too small or too large. We have created a little community of “fitness regulars” 😊 that we smile and chat with while working out. I love that this gym also hires high school students for part-time work. Cheertastic environment! My two daughters are competitive cheerleaders here and it is a home away from home for them. I truly love the TAC staff and the highlight is the gym owner, Stacey. She operates off a principle of building each cheerleader up with confidence and skills. I'd say give them a try even if it's only for tumbling lessons at first as competitive cheer does include travel. You will see results and your child will feel at home.

Great facility to practice at. Some buckets are broken and the balls are ok. They have a nice place to watch and also a good amount of bag storage lockers. Also, there’s a little area for arm band exercises before throwing so that’s a plus. Note that the Iron Mike doesn’t work so you will have to use the jugs pitching machine. Overall, very good place.
