Im new to golf and I came to Jim to get an assessment. My swing wasn’t up to par, I kept chunking and topping the ball. Jim helped me go through my movements and sooner or later I was hitting dimes down the range and on the course. I highly recommend Jims training for any beginners or even experts to improve their swing.

It’s been said that the greatest equalizer in life is age. Continuous pounding on the body will impact us all. Bone on bone on my left hip made it challenging to walk, yet alone play golf. Had total hip replacement surgery at HSS in NY, October 2021. Cleared to get back to exercise + in January 2022. Was looking for sports rehab and came across TPI, Core Golf and Jim. Jim is level 3 certified . Initial plan was to train for three months in prep for the upcoming golf season. Results were so positive that I continue to train twice a week. Jim provides an initial assessment / evaluation and tailors a program to your needs and possible limitations. Customer service is second to none. Workouts are varied and camaraderie with other guys is great. My strength, flexibility, and endurance has improved tremendously and better than ten years ago. Yes you will gain distance with all clubs. Highly recommend Jim for anyone serious about golf and overall fitness. Lessons, practice, equipment fitting are important, but you need core strength and flexibility so you can continue playing and enjoy life. FYI, I’m also an avid bowler and have seen quite an improvement in ball speed and revolutions, while increasing my average.

I have trained with Jim for more than seven years. He has an excellent understanding of physiology and corrective exercise and his training methods produce results. Core Golf’s facilities are impeccably clean and the equipment is state of the art. My most recent workout at Core Golf assured me that Jim has taken all steps necessary to keep the gym safe and sanitary during these trying times. Core Golf’s programs not only brought my golf game to the next level, they also improved my overall health and fitness far beyond my expectations. Give it a try. I guarantee you will be satisfied with what matters most - RESULTS.

UPDATE - Aug. 2020 - I continue to benefit from the workouts that Jim provides. The space is very clean and sanitized quickly after each use. Jim has everything well organized and he has clean equipment available quickly for any type of workout that he wants you to do. I continue to recommend Core Golf Performance as Jim strives to make you a better golfer. If you want to improve your athleticism as it pertains to golf, this is the place to go. Jim is a very good trainer who really knows the physical attributes that make you a strong golfer. He focuses on flexibility and strength as it pertains to your golf game and you work on those based on your ability. I highly recommend it. Update - July 2023 I have remained injury free thanks to Jim's training and efforts to improve us as golfers. He listens to any pending issues and works to make sure you stay on a healthy path.

I’ve trained with Jim at Core Golf for over a year. The programming balances mobility and strength with golf moves behind each exercise. I sometimes felt like the Karate Kid, except it was golf. Jim has a tremendous knowledge of anatomy and exercise science, and I highly recommend him and Core Golf if you are looking to improve your game.

I started bringing my son who is a distance runner to SCI 5 years ago and SCI had an immediate impact on his approach and performance. Not only did SCI train for his specific events but also his general fitness and health. My daughter decided to also run in High School 2 years ago and the first place I brought her to was SCI. I noticed that while they had the immediate same impact on her, the approach and techniques were different and tailored to her specific needs. We all learned valuable lessons that they will be able to use now and in the future. Just a great team with top notch training. I would recommend SCI to anyone of any age or ability.

My son Jon has been going to SCI for 2+ years. He is a high school XC/distance runner and was looking for training to augment the workouts he was receiving from his high school coaches. The staff at SCI works with him individually, gearing the exercises to what he needs to work on, including strength, form, and general conditioning, and most important, injury prevention. We believe the coaching and support provided by SCI has helped him to become the best athlete he can be. --Carol Marcus

My Great Nephew did strength and conditioning at SCI this past summer. He is a wrestler. He had a fairly good Freshman season at Indian Hills High School. He has started this season out very well. He was runner-up at the Cutter Classic and placed 7th at the BCCA Tournament at 120 pounds. He has remarked to me several times that one of the biggest reasons for his improvement is increased strength. He was shown a number of training routines that he was able to continue on his own during the fall. I have known Brad Vaccaro for many years and have great respect for his knowledge and teaching skills. I highly recommend SCI for everyone. Whether you are an adult looking to train or a parent looking for quality instruction for your child, you need to visit SCI.

Ever since I started coming regularly to the Sports Conditioning Institute in Sept 2014, my running times have decreased, even in my late 40's. The workouts are intense, yet safe as the trainers concentrate on form with an emphasis on staying injury-free. My running life has entered a 3rd life because of SCI! Thanks!

I've been training here for over 10 years and all the trainers have helped me get stronger, and turned me into a better runner, Spartan racer, and overall better athlete. And not mention - have helped me stay healthy and injury free with their knowledge and training expertise.

Hector is a wonderful trainer! I would highly recommend his expertise to ANYONE! He is simply the most professional and knowledgeable person I have met in his field. He takes the time to ask his client what THEIR goals and focuses are, as well as expanding on them. Hector has been a wonderful personal trainer. He is extremely punctual, reliable and professional. He has a clear passion for his field and is dedicated to helping his clients reach their fitness and health goals. He is highly knowledgeable in all areas of physical fitness, from anatomy to proper form and nutrition. I needed to improve my posture and balance and build core strength. I started training with Hector last month and I am so glad I did. Hector is very knowledgeable and experienced. He pays attention and makes sure I am doing each exercise correctly, with proper form.He is also very patient with newbies like me. I will continue to train with Hector for quite some time. He is a pleasure to work with.

Hector is great at motivating and pushing me to succeed. He is extremely hard working and dedicated to his work and clients. He is knowledgeable and understands the science of weight loss, building muscle, etc. As a trainer, he is motivating and pushes you to your limits and helps you to meet your end goals. I cannot recommend Hector enough.
