Feedback on Staff Behavior Hello [Gym Name/Management], I am member with my wife I wanted to share some feedback about a recent experience I had at your gym. While I really enjoy the facilities and think the gym itself is great, I encountered an issue with one of your staff members that left a negative impression. When I asked to purchase a drink, the staff member seemed dismissive and appeared more focused on attending to a new customer. Additionally, their tone felt unprofessional, and they even said “bye” in a way that felt dismissive rather than helpful. I understand staff can be busy, but this kind of attitude doesn’t reflect well on the gym’s overall environment. I hope this feedback can help improve customer interactions moving forward. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Facilities are very clean! Child care is great! It does get busy but that no fault to them. Everyone there is respectful and re-stacks weights. The only complaint I have is communication could be better. We were charged $40 “yearly maintenance fee” 3 months after signing up. We were never told of this and it is not in our contract. So that’s not cool. Also the kids club changed hours and there was no notification of it. They have the hours posted small in the room but an email or text (they send quite a few automated texts in the beginning) would have been nice! Even a social media update. The music they blare is awful rap. It used to be more popular music from the early 2000s which was tolerable but now it’s just bad and they play it SO LOUD. Overall we like the facility and definitely recommend it. Just wish communication was a little better and the awful music wasn’t so loud.

My daughter and I have been coming here about five months now. Everyone is generally kind and helpful, but the highlight for us has been Jenni, our personal trainer. For a couple of girls unaccustomed to working out at the gym, Jenni has transformed us to feeling empowered and knowledgeable. Jenni is encouraging and kind and has tailored our workouts to fit our goals. We absolutely love her!! We also like the smaller, community feel of this gym.

I have been a member here for quite some time. My entire experience has been wonderful! From their equipment, to the employees, and just the whole "vibe", is just what I look for in a gym. But get this... here's the REAL test!.. I was moving away from the area and had to cancel my membership. Most gyms make you jump through hoops to do this. They made it SUPER EASY to cancel! I can't wait to re-join this gym if I'm back in the area! I highly recommend this gym!

Great gym with a motivating atmosphere, but the equipment could use an upgrade. The mix of different brands and scattered weights affects the flow. A bit more organization would really elevate the experience!

Worst gym of forney goes to these guys! I’m writing a BBB complaint on them today about the fraud on my account. I tried this gym out for a week “free trial” back in 2021 and now I have creditors calling me all day about a $500 bill!!

Its so difficult to breathe in gym due to the fact it's extremely hot. No AC for the majority of the Summer and it's been triple digits here in Texas. The AC would work for 2 days then go out for month..Not sure why they can't get this fixed but it sucks

Great place to go for free weights. If you need assistance you should come during the day. You'll find the manager 9 to 5--not the movie.

Edit: It has been quite a while since I've been back to this location. Everything is clean, working and the staff are great! There was a Remodel this last year and the gym looks very nice! Everything from my initial review has been rectified and removed from the review. Props to the anytime fitness Forney staff - thank you guys!

I’ve been a long time loyal member with the gym since 2012 and it was great at first but the last few years, I feel like it has gone down hill. They did start a recent remodel however, I feel like all they did was paint, add carpet and move equipment around… nothing worth the excitement they are putting on. Most of the cardio equipment still doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for quite some time. 1 of the stairmasters has been out of order for months now and usually never works anyway. The other 2 are always breaking down along with the treadmills. The water fountains are now not working although they do have a sign saying please be patient as they continue to remodel and work on the water fountains. In my opinion, if management knows their water fountains aren’t working in a gym mind you, then the least they can do is provide cheap bottled water for members as they work out. The restrooms have never been nice and are almost always very nasty, dirty and smelly. The toilets are always clogged, restrooms just need to be demolished and rebuilt to be honest. To be fair, they have replaced some old equipment with new equipment but I’d rather much use older equipment that works than to have nasty restrooms and non functional water fountains in a gym where hydration is critical. All of this and on top of that, they are increasing their fees once again, come April. I’ve been loyal to this place and have made some good friends but when the Planet Fitness opens in Forney, I will cancel this membership and switch. What a shame, this used to be a great gym.

Friendly, clean facility that has a variety of workout equipment. They offer classes and open-play sports, including pickleball. They also offer amazing kid sports programs. A great place to meet new people and do what you love! It's like the rec center forney doesn't have. Only missing a pool. They do need more treadmills though because they are usually all taken.

Very nice fitness center. No contracts and no hassle if you need to cancel which is very important to me. The people that work there are nice. Important to note that this gym is part of a church so it is closed during service times on Sundays and Wednesday evenings and occasionally during other special events. The price is very reasonable compared to other gyms.

Really like this place. It's quiet for the most part. They are a little lax about enforcing the dress code for women. I see women in there with questionable to inappropriate outfits and violations of dress code.

Love this gym and affordable personal training. This is my home and don't want to ever go anywhere else. Great warehouse style gym. People are friendly but get in there to work and leave. Shout out to Chase for being an amazing personal trainer! He pushes you hard but knows what he's doing and keeps you motivated!

I've been going to this gym for almost a year now and have found it to be a great experience. The staff are friendly, the members are welcoming, and it fosters a positive community atmosphere. The gym is very clean and well-maintained. Although it is smaller and doesn't have an extensive range of equipment, it provides everything you need for a solid workout. Even during the typically busy 5 o'clock rush hour, the gym remains manageable, allowing me to complete my workout without any issues. I truly enjoy this gym, and my only reason for canceling my membership is the lack of air conditioning. The gym is housed in a space resembling a garage, with large bay doors at both the front and back. As summer began and temperatures soared into the high 90s with increasing humidity, I noticed the owner consistently refused to close the bay doors and turn on the air conditioning. When I asked him about it, he simply replied that it was good to work up a sweat, so I continued to work out there. However, with the extreme heat in July becoming unbearable, I had to reconsider. This week, the temperature inside the gym reached 99 degrees, with a "feels like" temperature of 105. The bay doors were open, and it was just too much to handle, so I left. Having an intense workout in such heat is not just uncomfortable but outright dangerous, posing significant health risks. If the gym kept the doors closed and the air conditioning on during these extreme temperatures, I would have retained my membership. Exercising in such high heat and humidity is not only uncomfortable but also poses health risks, making it difficult to perform at your best.

Great gym and very well maintained. The environment is amazing, and you’ll never want to go anywhere else after going to this gym even just one time. Paul is an amazing guy and genuinely loves helping people get better at lifting and getting back into the gym.

I’ve been bringing my 9 year old boy here for the past four months and have seen a world of growth from him. The instructors are all great and are able to demonstrate the techniques for different types of learners. The learning curve is steeeeeeep but it’s been great in fostering a no quit attitude. Lately they have been teaching techniques based on a scenario and that’s definitely helped my kid understand the lesson more. I like that the higher ranked kids are paired with the newer kids as the more experienced kid gets a chance at teaching and the less experienced kid gets to have it explained by someone on their level. All the kids that have been going here for a while (about a year+) are awesome and definitely seem to have more confidence than the average kid in the same age group. Everything here is earned. There’s not promotions every week/month that I hear about with some other martial arts schools. There’s been one promotion ceremony since the start date with another approaching soon. In a generation where instant gratification is more often the rule than the exception it’s great to see the kids proud of their well deserved accomplishments. Acting a fool is not tolerated by coaches, parents, and most importantly other students. As we approach the end of our first 6 month contract there is no doubt that he’s going to do another. My kid has expressed some interest in going to a competition which is not something I was expecting. Overall I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes him.

Horrible experience. Jerry is rude with people. If you forgot something and ask him again he gets upsets. A mother who didn’t seem to speak good English asked him about how to sign in and he was very rude to her saying: “this is last time I’m telling you, you come here everyday and still don’t know? I shouldn’t have to repeat myself to you” basically embarrassing her in front of everyone. If your child is a beginner forget it. They have kids from ages 5-12 in the same class very advanced kids with beginners. My kid was a beginner and they were partnering him up with experienced 9 year olds, they expected my child to just know it all instead of TEACHING. My kid went one week and did not want to go back. He is now very happy somewhere else. Jerry said he would give me back my money and never did. Jerry says he’s been working with kids for 20 years, it doesn’t look like it, he made my kid very uncomfortable and instead of gaining confidence he made him lose confidence. Unless your kid is older or experienced I don’t recommend.

Absolutely love Wolfpack. My daughter has been training here for over two years, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and environment. The coaches are a diverse group of personalities that all clearly love working with kids. I think they do a great job of balancing supporting the kids while also holding them accountable for what they’ve learned and treating their teammates with respect. One of the coaches even came to my daughter’s last birthday party, which thrilled her to no end.

"I can't say enough great things about Wolfpack MMA Gym! My son has been attending for 9 months, and the positive transformation has been incredible. The coaches are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also deeply dedicated to each student’s growth. The training programs are well-structured, challenging, and designed to build strength, discipline, and confidence. My son looks forward to every session, and it’s clear how much he has improved in his technique and mindset. The atmosphere at Wolfpack Gym feels like family — welcoming, supportive, and motivating. Whether you're looking to build skills, fitness, or character, this is the place to be. I highly recommend Wolfpack MMA Gym to anyone seeking a top-notch training environment!" To all parents considering bringing their kids here, remember that discipline begins at home. Establishing structure is essential to help them follow instructions and understand direction effectively.
