I visited Lifetime Clarendon in November using a friend’s Guest Pass, with the intention of potentially joining this gym later in the month. I’ve heard good things about Lifetime facilities and was looking for a more upscale gym experience. Unfortunately, after my visit, I was very disappointed by the way my friend and I were both treated and how Lifetime handled the situation, which has led to my decision not to join. After entering the locker room and getting ready for my workout, my friend and I headed to the squat rack area. We were in the middle of our warm-up sets when a female staff member approached my friend and informed her that she had to leave immediately, without offering any explanation. Despite repeatedly asking for clarification, we were left in the dark about the reason behind the request. There was no explanation given and the Lifetime employee seemed to take joy in the power dynamic they had over us. It was a very confusing and unsettling experience, as we felt unfairly singled out and treated with a lack of respect. I had to watch my friend be pushed back into the locker room and then escorted to the front desk all the while not being given an explanation on why this was transpiring. My friend was in shock and traumatized because of how she was treated. I was appalled at the lack of human decency afforded to my friend through the entire ordeal. We later discovered that the situation was related to a membership issue. For something so small, the whole experience was blown out of proportion given my friend was treated like she was a criminal even though she had not bothered anyone. We were forced to leave the club and it was all handled in a way that made both of us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. After leaving the club, my friend alerted me to the fact that she was followed into the locker room by the staff member as she gathered her belonging and changed. That is really dehumanizing. While Lifetime markets itself as an upscale gym experience, this encounter left much to be desired in terms of customer service and communication. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Lifetime Clarendon. For those in the NoVA area, there are other gyms like Vida that prioritize treating members with kindness and respect and a sense of community that I did not get at all when I visited.

I absolutely LOVE this gym. The classes are a lot harder than other lifetimes in the northern VA area and feel more like a professional workout class. I’ve only been doing the classes for about 2 weeks and already notice a huge difference in my physique. The gym is not crowded, SUPER clean, and the employees are helpful and very kind. I usually have the spa area to myself and listen to meditation music…it’s like I’m on vacation. If there are other people in the spa area it’s super quiet and peaceful 😌 Cons - the cost is pretty steep, free parking in the garage provided but for only 3 hrs. Would be awesome if they upped it to at least 4 hrs. There’s no pool. But other than that, totally worth it and life changing!

I love this gym for so many reasons! The community is fantastic, and it’s a great place for networking. One of the best features for parents is the kids’ area, where they can play indoors in semi-structured classes while I get a solid workout in. It’s perfect for those days when the weather isn’t ideal. The “Parents’ Night Out” program is a game-changer—our kids enjoy pizza and games from 5-8pm while my wife and I have a date night. On school days off, like teacher conferences, Lifetime has been our go-to. The only area for improvement would be adding more amenities, like a pool, pickleball courts, and additional indoor sports spaces. The upstairs work space feels like a big miss. In the summer, we often have to drive to Reston for a nice outdoor pool, which is inconvenient. I’d gladly pay extra for those features. Overall, this gym is a fantastic family-friendly space with great amenities, but the lack of certain facilities like a pool keeps it from being a full 5 stars for me. Highly recommend it if those aren’t deal-breakers for you!

Definitely a premium destination! I was surprised at how much space this city location had as compared to the Atlanta Buckhead location. A lot of equipment, so if it does get crowded, you have choices even for squat racks. I managed to get there while it was quiet around 10.30 or 11am, but it started picking up as I was finishing my workout. There is a cold tub which is unique to this location and is very refreshing after the intense breathing and "ah, oo, that's cold". Steam room is very nice to get all the impurities out of your system. You can chill out at the lifecafe, or there is wholefoods next door so finding a quality snack or meal is easy. Nicest and friendliest staff out of all the VA locations! Go check it out!

Great workout facilities and very peaceful spa area. The space and the equipment are very well kept. There is no pool, tennis courts or any of the athletic faculties however. The classes are great. Definitely try out the heated yoga with Natalie . She is amazing and has an amazing playlist!

Our team had an incredible workout experience at Barry's Arlington! The intensity of the workout pushed us to our limits, and we definitely worked up a sweat but loved every minute of it. The atmosphere is electrifying, and the instructors kept us motivated throughout. You can really get your heart rate up and will feel the results of your workout the next day. Highly recommend for anyone ready to break a sweat and achieve their fitness goals!

Evelyn was such a fun instructor to take class with. Her playlist was high energy and she had a great flow for seasoned and non-seasoned runners. I also loved her streching/yoga incorporation at the end of class. Will be booking class with her again!

I've recently started going to Barry's once/week as a part of my weekly movement routine during pregnancy and it's been a great addition! The staff is welcoming and accommodating and the instructors have been amazing. Each instructor has allowed me the space to modify as needed and I always feel part of the class/group even when I'm doing something different. Thank you, Barry's team!

We booked a gymnastics birthday party with Mimi at YMCA Woodmont, confirmed the date, and paid the full deposit to hold the party date. When we showed up to the party the facility was dark and no one was there. We had to frantically try to reach someone at YMCA while figuring out what to do with the whole party of 8 yos, a birthday girl in tears, and no gymnastics. Someone from YMCA finally showed up 2 hours later and ran an abbreviated party. They explained that they'd written down the wrong date, even though we'd booked the correct date. After discussions, YMCA agreed to refund the full amount of the birthday party. But it's been months now and I'm still chasing them for the refund. They again aren't honoring their agreement. Just horrible.

I give 1 star because I need to, I Pay 300 dollars for my daughter to do Gymnastics in Arlington, my daughter was doing Gymnastics before with Arlington Park and Recreation since 2016 to 2019 because COVID she stops for about she was doing Gymnastics on and off With Arlington but is hard to get spot. February this year 2024 I enrolled my daughter in YMCA Arlington and my daughter was nervous because after 6 months she was going to do it again, after the class she told me she got headaches and the couch told me in from of the other parents: YOUR DAUGHTER DOES NOT HAVE ANY SKILS. (My daughter have anxiety) as a parents you can imagine how my daughter and I we feel after that. I just left and my daughter was crying telling me please mom don’t make me go back to this class. As a parent I listen to my daughter. I call to YMCA I explain to everything and I ask for my money back they transferred me with Miss. Williams, she told me it takes about 30 to 60 days to get my money back, until this day I’m still waiting for my money back, I pay membership + the 300 dollars and now I email her and I just got email back telling me we are working on it. Thank goodness I call Arlington Park and Recreation and the got my daughter back in gymnastics.

The reason this place isn’t 3 stars is because the men’s sauna is spectacular. The sauna is above and beyond all other ymca saunas I’ve been to. The weights are acceptable but not great, there’s no pool, the people at the front are pretty useless but that’s par for the course at many YMCAs, at least they’re not as rude as the staff at Alexandria. Also they recently started doing towels which is awesome. The hours are what you would expect for a smaller YMCA. If you can get into XSPORT when they have deals that’s probably better overall since it’s 24 hours. Lifetime is nice but not worth the money.

The facility is new and houses one of the only Olympic-size pools in the area. (Most of the time, the pool is configured at 25 yards.) there’s also an entirely separate pool and a hot tub. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful and includes (8?) EV chargers. The gym is spacious and well-equipped. My only complaint: The locker rooms are a little dirty

A beautiful new facility. I’m happy to look at the spreadsheet to make sure lanes are available and plan ahead for the Wednesday cleaning of the spa but I cannot deal with the facilities not being cleaned regularly. I went on Friday 1/31 in the middle of the morning and was disgusted by the litany of flies in the locker rooms and by the pool showers. The spa had garbage all around the rim and the floors were covered in green mold. Like what is going on???

This is the best public pool and fitness facility in the Arlington-Alexandria area. It has a 50m pool that is usually cordoned into about 15 25m lanes. Check the website for lane openings, as some times of the day only 6 or so are open to the public. Great time to go is before 4pm. Second pool is good for families and those wanting warmer water. It has much more limited hours. Locker rooms are clean and have shampoo/conditioner. They offer a family locker room, too. Fitness area has everything you could ever need and a limited class schedule (extra fee). Great views on the surrounding area and/or pool. Usually very few people there. There are also community rooms for rent (?) that seem under utilized. Staff is very friendly and professional.

Do and I mean every bit of NOT come to this pool. The life guard “Will” , has horrible people skills. They clearly do not communicate because someone told us one thing and he told us something is. Extremely RUDE. Talked with his back towards me. Asked him to speak up and he still turned his back. Mind you there is music playing. He put his hands in my face and even stared at me as if he was going to do something to me when I asked for a manager. He then grabbed a manager by the name of “Janelle” who was just as rude. We were told as long as you are doing laps you can swim in any lane other than 1. My 13 year old brother was doing laps . He came up for air once or twice and she made him move and out somebody else in that lane (who also was taking breaks). When I tried to explain it and explain how rude Will was, she basically said she didn’t care shrugged her shoulders and walked off. My niece lost her phone the guy at the front was helpful. But , then Janelle came out there. I was asking him for a complaint number and explained to him what happened. She Ridley brush a card to me. I told her she was really rude and went back and forth with me about it. She didn’t car. Called Mr. Harris never heard anything back. I WILL NEVER go here again and have to spend my money to be treated any kind of way . BIG NO!!

This place IS beautiful. It IS amazing. What sucks is that now, likely to make money, they have leased out 75 percent of the pool to swim teams and so, if you’re a tax paying citizen who wants to use the pool, you’re screwed. It’s infuriating! And nobody at the facility seems to care. I only come when the sport and health pool is out of service. And I regret it every time .

This facility is actually one of the nicer Planet Fitness gyms I’ve gone to. I recently joined here just for tanning after canceling a more expensive tanning boutique membership. The beds that they use here are the same beds that are one of the top-tier memberships at the tanning boutique I used to go to and for just $25 a month you really can’t beat this. I do have another gym that I go to in the area, but the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of this gym makes it a great facility to go to when I can’t get to my other gym that is a bit further away.

On 12/16 visiting from Rhode Island this location I expected better. First treadmill I hopped in was rickety and clanked. Hopped on a second treadmill next to it and when I was at 15% incline the entire machine swayed side to side, hopped on the third treadmill and after my workout the machine failed to resume to a 0% incline and was stuck. The black card spa was even worse. Massage chair #4 sounded rusty, the air compression didn’t work and the right side massages harder than the left side. Lastly, only ONE equipment cleaning station was stocked with paper towels. Five other stations had no paper towels. One sink in the men’s room didn’t work and one hand dryer was out of service. Thankful to return to my Middletown, RI Planet Fitness.

Giving this one star because of my customer service experience. I highly recommend going to other gyms. After enduring some issues in my life that led to me having to move short notice— this gym still charged me for another month and hit me with the “it’s in the contract” excuse. Absolutely abysmal customer service. For someone who is on a budget and just experienced an unexpected move, this behavior is highly disgusting. Sign a contract at another gym. I will never visit another onelife again, and for the price I’d suggest you might as well join planet fitness in pentagon city since it’s open 24/7.

Decided to hit the gym on my break from work and gave this place a shot so called “signature” location . One of the most depressing gyms I’ve ever experienced . I’ve been to 3rd world gyms better than this place. The equipment is outdated they don’t even have an incline bench , the sauna is shut down and not working and I tried taking a hot shower the hot water wasn’t working lol you can barely even ask anyone a question since they are busy training 80 year olds in every corner of the gym. The lady in the front desk is clueless about equipment. GOOD LUCK NEVER AGAIN. Thanks for letting me workout for free :)

This is the worst OneLife Fitness location in the DMV area. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET A GOOD WORKOUT IN YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. I came here to workout and had an allergic reaction that sent me to the emergency room within 5 minutes of being in this gym from the chemicals the cleaning staff used. They clean very close to you while you’re working out or in the locker room changing you will be inhaling toxic chemicals that will put your health at risk. I broke out in hives, and my face swelled up immediately. I reported it to Management and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. After I recovered I decided to give the gym another chance. I signed up for a yoga class and they schedule it the same time as a spin class with loud music in a room adjacent to the yoga studio. I reported it to management and was told it’s only a 30 minute overlap and next time they will try to turn the music down. Instead of just rescheduling the spin class to begin and end 30 mins before the yoga class starts so it doesn’t clash. The gym is TINY! The personal trainers take up all the space there is when they train their clients. Unlike other gyms that have designated training areas for that reason. The gym is already small with limited equipment and the little bit of space there is always is being occupied by the personal trainers. Back to the cleaning staff. The gym closes at 9pm on weekdays and the cleaners decide that it’s a good time to mop the locker room floor at 8:30pm. I slipped multiple times and they don’t think it’s anything wrong with mopping during a time Period when people will be walking on the wet floor putting them at risk. Instead of just waiting until the gym closes and clears out to mop. Every time I brought these issues to management they have an excuse or justification for why they do what they do and they don’t care about their customers. They only care about the personal trainers and their clients.

The gym is pretty big and staff are nice. Most of the equipment is new though some are a bit worn and has rust around bolts and flat surfaces. There are quite a few machines, so even at busy times you will be able to workout without having to pause for a free machine. One major problem is ppl don’t put back weights and they are mostly strewn around the work out area and you waste a lot of time looking for the correct set. There are lockers but you need to bring your own padlock. I’ve seen a few ppl with gym bags around the gym floor as an alternative. They have branded clothes, snacks and drinks available for purchase as well. There is free designated parking, which is nice as other locations are paid.

Today was my 2nd time visiting this particular location. I live in DC, typically go to Golds in DC. The gym is decent. The equipment is nice. The restroom stalls need to be updated and maintained better. However, BEWARE OF PREDATORY TOWING. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARKING SPACES.*** Pulling into the parking lot, I did not realize that literally one side of parking is for Golds and the opposite side is for &Pizza so when I got out of the gym my car was towed. $150 down the drain! I’ve seen Golds respond to other complaints stating that you can’t do anything regarding parking. YES you can; Advanced Towing has so many complaints surely the businesses that occupy this space can advocate for better signage and to utilize another company. Signage that is a pole with labels for businesses and parking instructions. It is very easy to miss writings on the ground when spaces are adjacent to each Golds can also advocate to work with another company. There are HUNDREDS of complaints on ADVANCED TOWING GOGGLE REVIEWS STATING BEING TOWED WITHIN MINUTES!! It’s PREDATORY. PEOPLE ARE BEING TOWED WITHIN 5-10 mins of parking. HOW MANY COMPLAINTS WILL IT TAKE!!!

The Ballston golds gym location is great, I enjoy starting or ending with the sauna and there is ample warmup space upstairs. The equipment is mostly old school and is fairly well maintained, can't complain about that. People are generally kind and the gym environment seems very inclusive. They have 6 power racks downstairs and 4 power racks in the functional strength (turf) area. Almost always able to get the equipment I need within 5 mins of when I need it no matter how busy it is! The staff are fine, I haven't interacted a whole lot with them but they give tours and such for new folks.

So Tuesday 10/29, the gym at 5:45am is still locked up. I’ve been coming here for years now and generally have positive experiences regarding everything, but definitely would like to see this resolved going forward. Reading through some other reviews this seems to have been a recurring issue in the past. People generally have other commitments to get to and pay money for the promise of the gym being open at this time. Hope the staff can find a way forward on this as I really do love this gym. Thank you!

The instructors for workout classes and yoga are great. I’ve only ever had positive experiences with them. However, the gym, locker rooms upstairs, and large rooms where workout classes are held are dirty. The large rooms have dust and hair all over the floor, occasional broken equipment in the corners, and they are often in general disarray. It is hard to believe this gym is ever cleaned. Additionally, the air conditioning has been broken for almost 2 months now. On cool days this isn’t a problem, but hot days leave the inside so hot and muggy it’s often unbearable. The thermostat reads 82 today. These issues are more than inconveniences and make the overall gym experience feel unsafe. The manager told me to just go to a different location and that no refunds on memberships would be given. Do not pay to go here.

01/15/2025 The management does not care to fix and upgrade broken equipment and features and provide average service. 1. They charge double monthly fees in December to fix/upgrade equipment but they don't fix anything on time. One year dues = 13 months! 2. The steam room has been broken for over a month since 12/10/2024. Photo is attached 3. The stretching mats are always missing or beat up. They won't replace them. 4. They will increase your monthly dues without any notice 5. The water fountain was broken for 2 months. The front desk is not bothered to pass the issue to management and get it fixed!

I was a member of the gym before and now I’m back after some time being abroad. I love that the gym has a variety of classes. As a new member you get two complimentary personal training sessions and after my sessions with Kevin I decided to continue them for a few months. I was impressed by Kevin’s knowledge which was the reason for my continuation of personal training. I have back pain and I needed to strengthen my muscles and body before I can do things on my own correctly. Kevin ensured that all exercises are a good fit for me and that I hold a correct posture which is really important to me. I love that he incorporates mindfulness, breathing and visualization while exercising. It’s inspiring to train with him!

Kevin is the ultimate personal trainer!! He seeks to understand your fitness goals before engaging.( I think that’s very important). He gently but firmly will encourage you to push yourself, while remaining attentive & present with you in the moment. Above all he ensures you retain the good & safe exercising skills & techniques you learn to continue to build on your success & wins from the sessions you get with him & beyond.

Nice gym and great trainers - specifically Kevin who is phenomenal! After not having been to the gym in months due to a broken wrist, it was difficult for me to return back to my old routine. After just two sessions with him, he helped me with my motivation and get me back to looking forward to entering the gym. From the start, he has helped me figure out my goals and has given me a customized program to work through and view my progress. While the one-hour full body sessions are intense, he has pushed me and shown me what I am truly capable of doing. This is supplemented with his great insight and knowledge on proper form, techniques, and mindset. In particular, he has taken great care in making sure I can be healthy and improve my performance through ways outside of the gym with nutrition and lifestyle advice. I went from barely making it 30 minutes into a session to pushing my limits through the entire hour. As someone who has frequently gone to the gym over the past couple of years, it has truly been a breath of fresh air to work with Kevin. By returning to basics and building a solid foundation of form and mindset, it has taken me just a month to break through plateaus that I had been stuck on for almost a year. If you are looking to build your physical fitness, find motivation, and build a strong mentality, you have to work with Kevin.

After a two-year break from OneLife Fitness to focus on running, I decided to return because I wanted to focus on strength. The gym offered a free assessment and a session with a personal trainer, which is how I met Kevin. Since working with him, I’ve seen great progress in both fat loss and muscle gain. I feel stronger, more stable, and my posture has improved—a big relief for my back. Kevin also encouraged me to join his Saturday core and mobility classes, which have become one of my favorite parts of the week. These sessions complement my strength work and have made a noticeable difference in how I feel day-to-day. What really stands out about Kevin is how detailed and thoughtful he is. He explains each exercise clearly, shows me how to do it, and ensures my form is always correct. This focus on technique has helped me avoid injuries and get the most out of every workout. Kevin has also been a great resource for nutrition advice, offering simple, practical tips that fit with my lifestyle. I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made so far and grateful for Kevin’s guidance and encouragement along the way.

This review is really 3.5 stars. I've been an on and off member of this location (last attended Vida regularly in 2023/started back up this Jan 2025) and the overall upkeep of the gym has gone done a bit. With a monthly membership upwards of $120+ there shouldn't be 5-6 broken treadmills. I've gone to the gym during peak hours and non-peak hours throughout the week and people are waiting for equipment to free up, so they can do some level of cardio. Depending on the timeliness of repairs, I'll gladly edit my review. Vida Fitness-Ballston is a great gym, just was disappointed to see the overall quality of it go down since coming back... The recent reviews of the Steam/Sauna are a little fabricated, because they do feel clean. The cleaning staff does a great job and they definitely deserve the shout out for all that they do.

This gym and it's staff are absolutely top notch. I have been a long time member of VIDA and have been to various locations over the years. The Ballston location is hands-down the best. The facilities are always super clean, the staff is so kind and helpful (shout out to Isaac being the GOAT), the selection of equipment is vast, the restorative spaces of the spa & saunas are spotless and always smell nice, and the entire gym's layout makes sense with room to spare. Thanks again for all that you guys do!

I like this gym. Been going for 2 years. I do wish the steam room was cleaned more often. Update: I steam room has only gotten worse, its almost never clean even though there is a sign that says its cleaned daily. Also, there is a new manager here and he only hits on the good looking women, including my wife. No one ever sees his speak to male guests and whenever there is a good looking girl working out, its guaranteed he will mozey on over and start a conversation 10/10x. Like bro, this is not tinder… the steam room needs to be cleaned but this guy is thinking with his you know what. Pic of him in action today:

Vida Ballston is a beautiful and well outfitted gym and the employees have all a been very kind and helpful to me! Especially Isaac, my membership specialist, was extremely helpful for me in terms of navigating my new membership. A great gym and a great team!

Been a Vida member since 2018 and they've been nothing but spectacular. I've been a frequent member at every single location while moving around DC and now living in Arlington, I've been at the Ballston location for 2 years now. My trainer Jonas has helped me reach my fitness goals and then some! Front desk dude Sam is all smiles as you walk in and makes sure to have your smoothie ready when you're leaving. Gwen the Sweatbox instructor/manager has an AMAZING Sweatbox class and really motivates you to keep going. They also keep getting new equipment to keep it fresh! Loving everything about it!

It has been 1 year since LA Fitness took over Gold's Gym. It is has been a quick decline! Equipment is increasingly "expecting maintenance", the working equipment is deteriorating (torn padding, missing pins for machines, child care gone, 1 vending machine 1/2 empty, etc). The ONLY reason I work out here is convenience and I like the layout. Some staff are very pleasant, others look like they hate their job. Also, the gym is now 99% men.....ugh! UPDATE 12/9/24: I was a member at the previous Gold's gym for 20+ years and LOVED them......then LA Fitness took over the location and it has been a swift DECLINE! My photo below shows the biggest complaint...........lack of machine maintenance!! BUT, to show how cheap they are.......notice the TV's with ONE channel playing on the 3 active monitors, while the others are just dark..........they won't even pay for a cable channel! This past weekend I tried to bring my wife in as a Guest.........they said $20 bucks (my monthly dues are $40)! They would not take a guest coupon since wife had been there 8 months ago......and even though she is going to retire in March and WOULD have joined, the manager said "Sorry"! GREAT customer service guys. Like most, I go here because I like the layout and location.................but everything is in decline, including the members! Rude, stinky people who are so inconsiderate they think you like hearing them sing aloud next to you, sit on machines for 30 minutes looking at their phones, or my favorite.....the tools who occupy more than one machine at a time. Sorry to the Manager, but this is a mismanaged, rundown gym with employees who look like they hate their jobs.

Do not go this location because: The bad - there is alot of broken equipment (cardio machines and cable machines or pulleys) and when that happens they leave it broken for a long time. Like a month. There is zero urgency to fix it. - the bathroom smells gross. There has to be a sewage leak or something bc its cleaned regularly its not possible to smell as bad as it does and appear as clean as it appears. - like all gyms, its a pain to cancel.(Denis he’s the manager of the gym if there is some issue he cannot de-escalate situation, he is on the phone all the time only there during 9-5 so if you work regular hours its not possible) The good - the culture of this gym is good. People come here to lift and mind their business. Nobody is filming tiktoks or being obnoxious. Everyone is polite and doing their own thing. - front desk people are chill except the manager (Denis) - they have most of the equipment you could ever ask for

This was a great gym when it was Gold’s. Once it became LA fitness the quality went down drastically. As others mentioned, machines remain broken for months at a time. Basically you’re paying for free weights - which isn’t necessarily a problem but membership rates should reflect that.

Truly horrendous gym. Clearly don’t care about patrons. Broken Machines/equipment will go unfixed for months at a time. There is never equipment. The only “improvements” in the last two years were two god awful paint jobs. The manager sits in his office on his phone constantly. This gym should be viewed as a last resort.

I cringe every time I see the charge come in from this place. I go there because it’s close by, but honestly so are many others - note to self: consider shopping around for another gym. The machines are constantly out of service for literally MONTHS. They have around 6 stairmasters and last I checked (yesterday) only 2 of them are functioning, and it’s been like this for weeks. The outrageous number of treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals is hysterical. They take up so much space and only 1/4 of them gets used at one time (this is me being generous). It’s not 1970s anymore, people want to lift WEIGHTS! Yeah, speaking of weights they’re always scattered throughout the gym, there’s 1 machine for each exercise aside from leg press (2) and squat rack (3) and that’s not enough!!!

Excellent gymnastics facilities with talented staff. The spectator gallery is clean and airy. There is an exercise/ weight room that can used (checkin at the front desk, probably a usage fee). Clean restrooms and locker room. Excellent outdoor facilities include sport park and tennis courts. Easy parking.

First off I love this gym for the facilities and the opportunity to have my kids do gymnastics. However the problem is they don't have enough staff to actually staff their classes. My child has been enrolled for two sessions totaling 12 classes and actually only attended three because they constantly cancel. In the last session the director told parents they fired a teacher (which is not entirely professional to share) and then canceled the final 4 classes. Then we did not get any priority to sign up again and had to wait through the whole process of sitting by the computer as soon as registration opens for the County. This session we were let me know last week a couple hours before class the class was canceled after planning our entire weekend around it. Then tonight we show up and there was a crazy storm had knocked out power and its canceled again- by no fault of theirs-but it's just frustrating to have this consistently happening.

There is a workout facility available with an inexpensive membership. The gymnasiums are for gymnastics. Arlington County offers classes for any age. There is a mezzanine from where classes can be observed. A great facility in a very nice park. Also, there is a nice playground. There is food available from a vending machine.

I like this place. The coaches for gymnastics are great, dedicated and supportive. This is a real gymnastics club so don't expect the usual tumble you get at other county provided gymnastics classes in the area.

I was a member here for ~5 years or so but moved to a different area so had to end my membership. This is a great gym, the equipment is very well maintained and clean, the staff and other members are really friendly. It’s a great environment to work out in / staff does a really good job of maintaining everything and creating an awesome experience for their members. Would absolutely recommend and sad to be leaving this place!

Been going to this gym less than a year and it’s been a good experience. Tons of cardio and lifting equipment to get a good workout in. They add plastic privacy screens between the cardio machines to allow each member to be protected in our COVID era of life. It’s a clean gym, open 24/7, friendly staff, fair cancellation policy and a convenient location for myself. I would recommend you come to do a tour and see for yourself.

If you don’t fit their target demographic and forget to not sneeze, as soon as you step foot outside of their gym, you will receive a creepy email alerting you that you do not fit their “gym guidelines”. I was in the gym for less than 15 minutes, used 3 equipments and got a nasty creepy email indirectly and condescendingly telling me I do not belong. Do better, and that’s just this AnyTime location. Had no issues at the other ones
