Sun Devil Fitness Complex

Great Rec center. I’m lucky enough to get affiliate membership and it’s very much worth the Semester long pricing. Has 100+ cardio machines, 2 weight rooms with lots of equipment and free weights, pools and more. Staff are super friendly. Only a couple things keep it from 5 stars. 1. No sauna. It’s a bit surprising considering how huge the place is that they didn’t install saunas or at least steam rooms. The locker rooms are massive and 99% empty most of the time so you easily could have space. My old gym was 5% the size and had them. 2. Some of the cardio machines have been busted for months. I think they are getting a refresh later this year but they should probably just pull the broken ones. 3. It *can* be packed depending on the time you go. If you want to avoid the crush just go anytime before noon or late at night.

Sdfc does have good courts and a nice pool. But it's management is so bad. Some people in management are nice and helpful but they are lot of people who are just bad with attitude and never helps. Not sure why they hire people like them. They just talk rude. There is one tall Indian dude who never helps and always rude.

The facility is huge! Very spacious, nice. I really want to try the group fitness classes to get a better idea but overall the location is good
