Orangetheory is TRULY for all fitness levels and I genuinely enjoy working out now! Do not be intimidated! The trainers are all awesome and the classes are dynamic, it's something new every day. I have been a member since February, I went from going 2 times a week and barely making it through the workouts, now I'm going 4 times a week and getting stronger, faster, doing things I never thought I'd be capable of doing with each workout. Absolutely worth the investment for myself!

One of the first gyms I’ve consistently been able to go to. The trainers are awesome - Kristina is my fave! She works with all fitness levels and there is enough challenge there while keeping in mind your fitness level. This is why I’m encouraged to return weekly, and will probably level up my membership because of how welcoming the staff are.

This place has bad management and I would never think of ever wanting to sign up here. I was walking down the street with a friend when we noticed this Orange Theory had a shattered window and it appeared to be unsafe as it could fall on someone walking by. My friend, who works for a very reputable glass and window repair company, and I walked into the facility to inform the manager of this broken glass situation. The nice young man at the desk was very kind and was very thankful to us after we pointed out the broken window. Now the problem was the manager who came out from the back and instantly started to berate my friend and I before even asking why we were in the lobby. He came up to me and said our kind were NOT welcome in his fitness center and we had to leave. He tried to shoo us both out the door without even asking a single question as to why we stopped in. If I was a new client I would have been appalled at this behavior and I would have never returned and made sure others knew of the tone this manager took with me and my friend. He didn't even greet us he just asked me and my friend to leave because "OUR KIND" wasn't welcome there. I asked him what he meant by that and he assumed we were either street people and me being part Hispanic I think there were racist undertones there as well! Anyway after he got done berating me and my friend I informed him of the broken glass issue and he suddenly changed his tune. Its unfortunate this establishment has such an Ill mannered manager working for them. Maybe next time he should learn to ask before jumping to conclusions and keep his "YOU PEOPLE" comments in check.

Immensely disappointed after such an initial positive experience. Immediately once mine and my husband's pleasant free trial experience ended and we singed contracts (with someone at the desk who it turned out processed our paperwork incorrectly, which we were called to be notified needed to rectified by a different staff member the following day when we were scheduled to next come in for a class) and were charged, we were baited and switched repeatedly. At NO point was it explained that the arm bands were an additional fee, until we showed up for another class and were told we needed to drop another $100 each on top of our Elite memberships to order arm bands. We were extremely uncomfortable with this sudden bait and switch and asked to just rent the arm bands instead, and agreed to those $10 per use per person charges, even though it did not sit well with us. After my husband caught the flu and we were left with no choice but to cancel the next class we'd signed up for, we discussed the matter and made the decision to end our memberships altogether because we were just left with a sour taste in our mouth from our experience thus far. We requested cancelations via the website and received emails saying our cancelations were being processed and someone from that studio we attended would be reaching out to us. No one from the studio ever contacted us past that point. Fast forward a month later, and we have been charged again for a month that we did not attend any classes for because, like I said, in the previous month we initiated cancellation. We hoped this was just a simple mistake (like the one the studio had made previously with our contracts and needed to rectify) and so my husband called to have the charge refunded but the Orange Theory manager he just spoke with on the phone doubled down and insisted we could not be refunded. Extremely disgusted and feeling used and abused by Orange Theory and will forever forward tell anyone I know to NEVER trust this company. They get you in the door with kindness then take and take and take from you. I'd give 0 stars if I could, and just wish my husband and I could be refunded, per our cancelation request that was ignored. At this point, I'm concerned they'll continue trying to take our money next month, and the month after, and the month after... Since they've made it clear all that matters to them is taking money.

Orangetheory Fitness and the North Tempe/ASU location are excellent. I've never been able to stick to an exercise routine until coming to OTF (now in my 8th month of membership). The class structure and coaching in class make it easy to show up and make progress towards your fitness goals. All you have to do is show up, and your coach will guide you through an intense and productive 1-hour workout that is different every day! I also love that I can track my progress and routines in the easy-to-use app. Five stars all day!
