Melissa and her team are a really exceptional group. The studio is friendly yet the classes are challenging. All the instructors are absolutely amazing but I find Alice, Kate, and Melissa particularly awesome.

Review of CSX - CorePower Strength X (Upper Body) at the Clarendon Studio (1929 Clarendon Boulevard) I attended the CSX class at the CorePower Yoga studio in Clarendon, and while the workout itself was solid, the overall experience left much to be desired due to misleading advertising and poor customer service. The studio prominently advertises a “free week,” giving the impression that you can attend your first class without commitment and only begin payment if you choose to continue. This seemed like a great opportunity to try out the studio. However, when we arrived for the scheduled class, we were told that the “free week” wasn’t allowed and payment was required upfront. This directly contradicted the email we had received just prior, which explicitly stated, “Your free week starts after your first class.” When we brought this discrepancy to the staff’s attention, their response was dismissive, offering no real explanation or resolution. Being told, “it’s not allowed,” without addressing the conflicting messaging left us feeling misled and undervalued as potential new customers. While I understand the need for clear policies, it is unacceptable to advertise a promotion and then fail to honor it. This lack of transparency and accountability reflects poorly on the studio’s professionalism and respect for its clientele. If CorePower wants to attract and retain new members, they need to improve their communication and honor their advertised offers. Sadly, the experience felt like a bait-and-switch, which overshadowed what could have been a positive introduction to their studio. Until they address these issues, I would caution others to carefully verify terms before signing up or committing to a class.

I tried a free trial week here. I took two classes, one was core restore which was a relaxing class. The studio was not full and I enjoyed this one! However, the next day I tried a yoga sculpt class which was definitely overbooked. My friend and I came maybe 1 minute late and there was literally no room left in the studio for us. The instructor was mad we were late and didn’t help us find a spot. She was clearly annoyed with us and wasn’t afraid to show it. Unfortunately people being late is part of the business, if you can’t put on a good customer service face, then don’t work in a service based industry. Luckily we weren’t paying customers, just doing the free trial. If you’re going to overbook classes, there should be someone in the studio instructing everyone where to put their mats so there is optimal spacing and room for everyone. We were nearly touching the people next to us. We won’t be buying a membership or any more classes - there are more professional studios out there.

Had the BEST class with Natalie Di in yogasculpt today! Loved the pacing, cueing, and programming of her class!! I hope I get to see her more on the schedule !!

I love CorePower! I never thought I would like heated yoga, but I’m addicted. The instructors are great, the facilities are clean, and I enjoy all the classes! I probably go to Adam’s classes the most (he teaches hot fusion and C2), great instructor. This is my favorite location, although they are all good!
