Aikido Mountain West is the place to go for top notch Aikido Instruction! Their head instructor, Shawn Ellingson has been to Japan several times and is an amazing black belt as well as an advanced BJJ practitioner. You can't go wrong with Aikido Mountain West!

I've been training at Aikido Mountain West for almost 3 years now and have really liked the people, the teachers, and the organization. The teachers do a great job and really enjoy the art (both Aikido and Iaido). The organization is really organized (not always the case for non profits) and has great communication. The dojo itself is lovingly decorated and maintained and is a great environment for training. They provide fantastic value at a very low price. Well worth giving them a try at the very least! But be sure to do it properly and sign up for at least one month.

I've trained here since it opened, and it's an awesome place with great instructors. Each teacher has something different to offer. You get a great feeling of community as an adult student. The kids also seem to have a great time.
