I’ve tried out other studios around the area and Pilates Platinum is my favorite! I’ve been coming for about two years and recently moved but whenever I’m in town I always stop in for a workout! Instructors are attentive and workouts will challenge you (in a good way).

Fantastic studio and great teachers. Pilates Platinum changed my life. I had chronic back pain after 20 years in the Army. After 3 months taking class at Pilates Platinum, my pain is gone, my posture is better, and my range of motion and strength is better than it has ever been. I'm a believer and can't recommend this studio enough! Emily and her teachers are incredible!

I really have mixed feelings about this place. I have always loved pilates and I am relatively new to San Antonio. I picked this place solely because I knew someone else who comes here and I knew that would motivate me to stick to it. Its not traditional pilates like I was used to so it took a bit to get used to it. However, it really is hit or miss with the instructors. Aside from your intro class, they really don’t know if you have been coming in or if its your second or 20th class. Some instructors I have noticed can be very impatient, others expect you to know the name of the exercise/position. For the most part they fix your form but most do not give you alternative exercises to scale down if needed. My main point for the review is that they can apparently cancel your class without notice. I drove 30 min just to get to the studio and it be closed. I thought I was loosing my mind since I distinctly remember booking the class ahead of time to not have any excuse to not come. I even showed my husband to hold me accountable. But there is no sign of my registration anywhere on their website, I didnt receive a notice saying there would be no class either. I just wasted 1 hour of my time driving to and back for a cancelled class. List of instructors I’ve taken notes on Leslie Dorn - Engaging/distracting Lexie Murphy - hard / no scale alteratives Alexy Rojas - Peaceful / overall good workout Angelique - very rude towards new people/no form correction

this review is specifically towards the instructor Ellie. She was extremely rude, distasteful, aggressive and gave off extreme mean girl vibes. She was not helpful. Everyone in the class looked confused. No one knew what they were doing. The whole energy of the class was uncomfortable. I’ve been to this location before with the instructor Emily and honestly I did enjoy that instructor. She was very nice and helped everyone with fixing their form, the music was catchy, and overall had a great workout. With that being said, after the workout with the instructor Ellie, it really left a bad taste in my mouth. This review is letting people know that if they want to attend Pilates platinum then don’t go with Ellie as your instructor. If you want a good instructor go with Emily.
