Vlad also tailors instruction to individual student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. The more you put into a dedication of learning and being in the present, the more Vlad will put into you. The gym and students encourage a safe environment for all levels and still challenging no matter where you are at. Multiple students have successfully competed and advanced in regional and national competitions under his guidance. It's a place where people come to learn and leave their ego at the door and excel. Coach Vlad is beyond hands down an awesome instructor and a master at what he teaches. I’m grateful to be going to a professional establishment that respects time and treats all with fairness. Vlad, Lori, and Nick are the best coaches I could have asked for. They are talented, very knowledgeable, and patient. If you live in the RGV and are passionate about BJJ or Kickboxing, KGA is the place to go. I came from out of state and I didn’t know anyone in The Valley, but they made me feel at home. KGA is a welcoming place and everyone is very friendly and eager to help you improve. The highlight of my week is going to class and learning + working on my technique. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. 10/10 would recommend.

This is one of the greatest martial arts schools I have ever been a part of. Coach Vlad is a wonderful instructor who gives the same amount of respect as he demands. He is knowledgeable, and is a gifted instructor. His standards are high, but isn't that what you want from your coach? As both a full time doctoral student and worker, my time is limited and precious. I highly appreciate coach Vlad's punctuality, and efficiency in managing the class. We get more done in an hour than other schools do in 2. Finally, Coach has been nothing but kind to my family and me. I highly recommend KGA.

Achievable curriculum for my young child. I appreciate the positive training environment and courteous staff. Affordable prices are a plus. My son and I are enjoying our learning experience.
