I wish there was more information available here, like the gym's operating hours. There's also another gym at Dragonfly Park, which is much larger. I like this gym because it has stairs, but if the Dragonfly Park gym also has stairs, it would be a great option since the current one feels a bit small.

I looked forward to not having a gym membership since moving to this neighborhood, but I was mistaken. With how nice it is here and the amenity fees we pay, I was surprised to find out there are only 2 small gyms to accommodate thousands of residents. Some machines are broken, there are barely any benches or normal lifting racks, and there are a bunch of middle and high schoolers playing around in the gym. Really off-putting. I also raise the question of why there’s so many cardio machines when there are quite a lot of trails in our community.

For how expensive HOA fees are, this place is a massive embarrassment. Its poorly maintained, half the machines are breaking or already broken. Teenagers open the door for people without a fob so it’s constantly full of people who don’t even live here. Parents either bring their kids here or let them come alone when the rules clearly say children 12-15 need to be accompanied by a parent. So there’s always kids horse-playing and abusing the machines and there’s no one on site to tell them to stop, so be ready to be an unpaid baby sitter while you’re working out. People also don’t take time to learn gym etiquette so there’s a ton of campers who spend 50 minutes watching TikTok while sitting on a machine, saving machines when they’re doing something else, lifting right in front of the dumbbell racks or not wiping down machines when they’re done. A good start to fixing things would be adding the age restriction in large font on the door. But over all this place is a hell hole and should be avoided at all costs.

I mean it comes with the neighborhood which is cool and all, but it just ain't too much. For starters, there's no reason this place can't be open 24 hours. The Towne Lake gym is. There's no reason it can't have more equipment (like the Towne Lake gym). Do we really need 4 treadmills and 4 ellipticals? Last I checked, you can do cardio for free outside by walking or running. You can't do a bench press or deadlift on the sidewalk. Speaking of those exercises, why can't we have a free bar? Why must it be stationary on a machine. Makes it harder to do certain exercises. I'd get it if cardio machines weren't taking up half the space but they are. If you can, just go to a real gym.

Another tiny “world class amenity” here. If you move here, do not think you don’t need a gym membership, you do. They have 2 Tiny gyms for 10’s of thousands of homeowners and their kids…
