I like the coaches in this location, but I decided to cancel my membership and they charged me an extra month. I messaged them and asked why, and they never responded. When I cancelled my membership, it was the middle of December. They usually charge me on the first of every month, but they said I also have to pay in January. It’s ridiculous that they didn’t even respond to my message when I asked why. My overall experience with orange theory was ok, but I personally don’t think it’s worth the price. First of all, the class times are awful. This isn’t anything particular to this location specifically, but it’s the same in every orange theory across the US. For $170 a month, the weekend classes only go to 12pm. This is ridiculous considering the fact that most people want to relax on their mornings off. If you sign up for a regular gym like lifetime fitness, you can have access to similar HIIT classes and other classes, nice gym facilities, spa services, etc for the same price. I only wish I didn’t waste 6 months of my time and money at this gym because I wasn’t able to attend some times when I wanted to due to their lack of class times. And their classes filled up pretty quickly too. Seems they have too many members in this location. Another thing, is that they will not let you in to the class if you are like 5 minutes late. This isn’t the type of quiet class environment like a yoga class which you would be disturbing everyone if you entered late. Everyone is doing their own thing and they won’t even notice someone walking in late with the loud early 2000s music blaring over the speakers. Therefore, I don’t understand with that policy and I completely disagree with it. They never explained this to me when I signed up for this gym and I once came a few minutes late and they didn’t let me in. It was the rude female brunette manager. This is not a job where you need to clock in at a specific time, nor should it feel that way. For the price I’m paying, I should be allowed to walk in five minutes late after wasting my time to get there. Not to mention, this location is in a very high traffic area next to the freeway where it’s usually very difficult to find parking, and they should have some level of understanding. I should have cancelled my membership right after that due to the lack of respect. Edit: looks like I got a response from the owner. First of all, including my personal information such as contracts that I signed on a public google review is highly unprofessional, and I am alarmed that this information was shared to the public. Please do better. Secondly, I signed up for the membership online, but your staff never took the time to explain these policies to me. As these are not policies in most other gyms in the country, I was taken aback by this. It is their job to explain these policies and they failed to do so. So no, there is “no confusion caused” just a lack of competency and accountability from your end. And the “warming up” thing doesn’t make any sense. The only times we have ever had a warm up routine is for the weight lifting classes. If I start on the rower or the treads, there is technically no “warming up.” Lastly, you never addressed the fact that your staff never responded to my text message. Completely absurd.

The owner, management, coaches and staff are supportive, motivating, and always provide guidance, excitement and fun. The studio has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the community of members is truly a good time. A great place for workout! Excellent coaches! Love that it’s a variety on the floor so you train different muscles every day. I’ve been going 5 days a week for almost a year! And this is the best decision I’ve made for my health. I used to get intimidated seeing super fit athletes, achieving top percentile results. But now I see improvement in myself and it’s a Great feeling 😊 In addition, they have different challenges and activities every month. And the coaches are super fun 🤩

Been a part of this OTF location since early 2022. I have loved every minute of it. It has helped with all the "issues" I had with working out post college. I am now working out with friends and have a coach telling me what to do, letting me put my phone down and enjoy an hour of simple hard work. You won't regret joining this gym. Feels like family.

Great coaches. They are always friendly and helpful. This location is inviting and I feel more comfortable at Brentwood OTF than at other area OTFs.
