I've really enjoyed my time at Gold's (3.5 years). I've built great rapport with management, trainers, and members. There's a wide swath of ages and backgrounds that workout here, which makes it more interesting for me. I have gym buddies in their 20's to 80's (I especially appreciate the kind words from the older generations.) As with any gym, you get what you put in. So if you bring that positive, supportive energy, you'll get it back in spades. There's enough space and equipment for bodybuilders/fitness competitors, but it's not an environment where you need be a competitor to fit in. You're allowed to have a personality. In short, most of us are working folk with varying goals. And this Gold's allows you to realize those goals.

The gym is nice. There’s plenty of equipment for people who want to work out. Maybe because it’s January and the crowd is heavier with “new year, new me” people but there are a lot of teens and young adults taking up equipment and staring at their phones. Same with the sauna. I have yet to be able to use it because it stays full. Maybe Golds should consider an over 40 section with a bigger sauna or do like the pools and blow the whistle and the kids have to get out for 20 minutes!

I have recently re-joined Gold’s Gym Coleman Blvd. I am extremely happy to be able to take group classes again that are amazingly effective and add a strong element of safety; Pam, Jeanne Anne, and Lois’ classes in particular! I do truly wish Gold’s would have more of these types of classes versus the uniformed, patented, costly to the gym, class. Sadly the patented type classes fill valuable times, class spaces from what I believe should be much safer, whole body, easily altered for different individuals’ needs workouts. The type of class I am describing which I feel are best (non-patented) are offered with very low frequency at GOLDS, requiring I pay more money and search for a more well-rounded, safe group exercise classes in addition to my GOLD’S membership. If you want a workout that requires very little thinking, little stretching and not alterable take Body Pump or another patented, very structured class. It is a shame money is once again more important than safety and enjoyment while trying to help our community to be safer and healthier.

Just joined and I am thrilled that I found this gym. I check out a bunch of duds prior to finding Gold’s. I moved here from Pittsburgh and was a member of a full service gym and everything else paled in comparison big this location is awesome. Nice clean equipment. Clean locker rooms and lots of space to get fit. Also large saunas for those who love them. Update 5-10-23 this place is headed down hill fast. Dirty and very unkept. Lots of broken machines often, filthy bathrooms, molded rags that keep flooding from rusted door.

Loved this gym. Friendly staff and lots of space. They also have a sauna! Even when crowded there’s enough room for everyone to do their own thing
