Our daughters love going as well, they have so much fun, all while building confidence and gaining self defense skills. They have made great friends, who help each other out during class, and show them how to improve their skills if they notice them struggling with something. Alex is patient, informative, but also very fun! After awhile, it’s not just a class, it becomes a lifestyle. My 9 y/o son has been training here for over 3 years and I've seen him become quite the fighter training in this academy with Alex and his team. Alex is very articulate with the children and over these years I've seen him teach more than skills on the mat but lay out life lessons to be used out in the world. I am proud to say that he is more than just an instructor to my son, he has become a mentor who I trust. This is an incredible gym that makes you feel like family!

I signed my 6 year old son up about 6 months ago for classes at Quintella. The experience has exceeded my expectations more then I could ever imagine. Alex is really great with the kids. He is patient, kind, thorough but also tough when needed. He recognizes that each kids personality is different and figures out which way works best when teaching. My son is on the shy side but his confidence has grown so much since he’s been attending classes. Most sports he has tried in the past I would find him alsways asking how much longer, but with jiu-jitsu it keeps his attention the entire time and has him always looking forward to the next class. I trust Alex and Quintella Jiu-jitsu so much that I was able to convince my 9 year old daughter to give it a try and so far she is doing great. If you are a parent thinking about signing their kids up for Jiu-Jitsu I would 100% recommend Quintella!
