After having a good bit of back issues and taking time away from weight lifting, I was looking for new ways to move my body that felt good. I took my first class at LSF a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since. It was never intimidating, the instructors are great, and people of all levels are there. I love the smaller class sizes as you get a lot of one on one time with the instructors. I genuinely look forward to my time here every week. If you're looking for a good studio, this is the one!

I've previously taken reformer pilates classes under a second generation pilates master trainer and at a national chain, and so far the classes at LSF are high quality, as good or better than classes I've taken elsewhere.

I have been doing pilates at LSF for a couple of months now after receiving a gift certificate from one of my daughters. I had been recovering from a herniated disc that also led to the discovery of mild scoliosis, which is not abnormal for older women, in particular. I took all of these issues to LSF and was rewarded with excellent knowledge and experience helping others like myself work back to a strong, flexible body. While I don't always love it (but need it!), every instructor has been on me for positioning and form, which is key to not getting reinjured. As a pilates newbie, it's been helpful and I do not exaggerate when I say that I have been mostly pain-free since starting. My only struggle is with signing up for classes. Because they fill up very quickly, it is hard to budget because you need to sign up for a lot of classes in advance, which means you have to pay for a lot of classes at once. (They're certainly worth it and priced fairly.) I have had success with the waiting list, however, and there was only one time I did not get into the class. The silver lining of all this is that clearly people think highly of the classes/instructors and want to get in! I also appreciate that the owner/staff "hear" clients and try to make class policy changes that are sensible and not just penal. It's not easy running a small fitness business, so just them being there as a resource is terrific. They play great music, everyone is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the studio is cute. Thrilled to be an LSF'r and look forward to a pain-free spring and summer unlike last year! Thanks, LSF!

I am so happy to have found LSF pilates. As somebody who is injury prone and very limited when it comes to working out, pilates has changed my life. I stopped going to clinical PT for my back and started taking pilates, it has been a true game changer. The small class size is amazing, as the instructors are able to focus their attention on all participants, correcting form and ensuring a safe workout. Every class is different and I thoroughly enjoy my time spent at LSF. Great music, great workout, great instructors and a great boutique studio :)
