Clean facility and lots of different things to do to stay active! I enjoy coming here to workout without the crowd you get at larger gyms. The team is also friendly and people are welcoming. Lots of activities for the little ones and they offer preschool and daycare as well! Parking is behind the building and you pay about 1.00 an hour through an app called “Pango”

Wouldn’t recommend child care here! Also don’t think the director (Alex) is fit to be a director for child care. She’s a nice person however doesn’t fit the job, I’ve removed my daughter from there in April & she started bright horizons in Moosic & that has been the best decision ive made! let me just say “you go cheap, you get cheap” meaning I decided to go cheap with my daughters school (YMCA) & I felt like she was an outcast because she was a bit delayed in her speech, she also missed a week of school nearly every month because she was was getting sick literally everytime she was in school, everything I knew my daughter knew how to do, the school said she didn’t, from November to April I can honestly say my daughter has learned really NOTHING! I moved her to bright horizons, I’m paying more but it’s worth every $$, my daughter is talking so much more, hasn’t gotten sick not once, the teachers are phenomenal, you have no questions to ask because they tell you everything you need to know. My daughter actually enjoys going to school. THE YMCA sold me a dream & if you guys knew most of the things that pissed me off with this school, you wouldnt want to come either. There is so much more to say about this school but if you ever decide to come to the YMCA you’ll see exactly what I mean.. best thing was removing my daughter from here. The director sold me a dream in the beginning which I explained to her once before & again she’s not a horrible human being I just feel the role of her working in child care isn’t for her.

I like YMCA but they need more gym machines. We pay so much money for just some machines. They need to add more.

I started my daughter Harper in the preschool program this past fall. There was one teacher I didn’t much care for, but she has since left. My daughter loves all her teachers now, and they are amazing with her (shout out to the Ashley’s and Arianna) The director Alex Dewey is phenomenal , and though I saw a review about someone having a hard time getting her on the phone, I can tell you that’s probably because she is. In a classroom actively engaging with your children! Her program just got 4 stars in the keystone stars program, which is amazing considering she has only been there a couple of years. The kids are always doing something new! They take them on walks and field trips. They are doing the community helper unit right now and they are going around Pittston visiting local businesses and learning about all the jobs they do! When we had snow we were asked to send their snow gear in and they went out as a class and built a snow man. They take them to the park and the library. They’re always up to something fun! The program includes twice weekly swim lessons, which is huge to me because my family members have pools and my daughter is a sneaky one. I want her to be able to get to the side of a pool and out if she were to fall in. Brightwheel is an app they use to give updates and communicate with parents, and it is updated regularly throughout the day. Many times throughout the week they are sending pictures through it. If there’s an incident or anything I am notified immediately on the app. Messaging is easy and if my daughter is having a rough morning it makes checking in to see how she is doing throughout the day much easier. All in all, I just can not recommend the program enough. They’re just simply amazing and I’m so lucky they are able to handle my little terror with patience and love. The sweetest is at the end of the day when my daughter is leaving and she tells her teachers and the director she loves them and they tell her they love her too, and let me tell you, I truly believe they do!
