I really enjoyed my first class with Victor! He was a great instructor with a lot of energy, and kept us motivated throughout. Highly recommend his class!!

I enjoyed my first Rumble class! Atmosphere: As a Philly native, I loved how the decor of the studio tied into defining elements of Philadelphia's culture and history! From the life-size Rocky Balboa statue to wall art that featured the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, you can tell how thoughtful Rumble was when designing this space to be both unique and nostalgic. There were plenty of lockers to use and a well-stocked women's locker room that had essentials for post-workout sessions. Workout Session: As my first workout class, I was surprised by how much can be packed into 45 minutes. Our large group rotated between bags and workout benches twice, which allowed us ample time and opportunity to work out different areas of our body. I also liked how the class began by reviewing the 6 different types of punches we would need to know before the class. If you forgot the form of a punch or dumbbell exercise, there were videos on the wall that acted as demonstration guides to keep you on track. I enjoyed this and the music that kept me on tempo with each set. Tips: I brought my own gloves and hand wraps, which allowed me to save some money. If you want to be a regular Rumble guest, I recommend investing in your own equipment to bring with you!

Showed up for class this morning, but they had no trainers available. The class was announced as cancelled 10 minutes after the original start time. Promised refunds of: class credit and glove rentals, but have not received confirmation email of either refund.

Honestly, it was so bad I don’t know where to begin. You absolutely will NOT learn boxing here. The class I took had over 20 people. The class was held in an almost pitch black room with club music so loud you couldn’t hear a thing the instructor said. He was on a microphone headset screaming cliches about kicking butt but it sounded like static because he ate the headphones. No one got one word of individualized instruction. No correction on footwork. No reinforcement of hands up. No hip rotation. Even beginners were told to do 6 punch combos including hooks and uppercuts with no one walking around correcting form. I am not exaggerating there was a woman doing downward hammer chops (picture a kid having a tantrum) on a heavy bag for half the class and she was never corrected or assisted. If I graded this on an aerobics class it was meh but had no resemblance to anything related to the beautiful art of boxing. Not to mention they should be ashamed that they charge $300 a month! Save your money and your time. This is will not help you with self defense or learn how to actually throw a punch. You could be doing it completely wrong from day one and no one would ever correct you or educate you.

I went for the first time last week. It was easy to follow along and learn the 6 punches on the spot. I had fun and will definitely be back soon 😊
