Vernon YMCA Gym and Fitness Center

This place is a hidden gem and much bigger on the inside then I expected. The equipment is in really good shape to and they have some of the hardy old school equipment that I like best along with some brand new equipment that I didn't realize existed. Its clean the staff is great and all around great vibes.

I love this YMCA, however I do not like the supervisor. My teenager is hired for childcare duties. And does not mind pitching in and doing extra. But the janitor makes more than my daughter and the supervisor is expecting her to help janitor. That is above her pay grade and if she is going to do both she needs paid accordingly. I also have a huge issue sending her into the men's bathroom to clean it. Again she was not hired for janitor. And the janitor isn't gonna help her watch kiddos. My daughter is very happy working here otherwise. And iv always been greeted with a smile and hood attitude! My daughter has made so many great friends but I will be going over talons head on this

I take my clients there and the older lady with the white hair who works there is extremely rude to myself and my clients. She is constantly giving the clients dirty looks and speaking down to them like they aren’t human beings with feelings too. Our company pays the same prices as anyone else and we expect to be treated in the same way. The weekend staff member is extremely kind and helpful though so thank you to her! To the week day lady, you are rude and I hope you find some kindness in your heart someday!

Horrible place. Parking stinks. Staff rude.

The areobics classes with Holly were good at first, until I realized that is not her goal. She shares way too much personal info and cuts her classes short to do so. I am there to work out! I am not there to hear her life story.
