East Shore Branch YMCA

I think that the layout of this is weird. But overall the facility was nice. It's extremely confusing if you've never been there before since there's so many stairs and places to go. All the equipment was relatively new though so that was nice. The group fitness classes are really good. They're hot tub is currently drained so I think that is a downfall. The pool is really pretty but it's very small. It's giving church vibes. Definitely don't love that you have to pay for parking here. I wouldn't come back because of that.

Great place, I went there for the sauna and steam room, enjoyed both very much. Didn't like the fact that you have to pay 1 dollar for parking token to exit parking lot, I guess it's City life.

I like the amenities available. Basketball, racquetball, pool, hot tub, steam rooms, 3 different weight rooms, parking for members (OSP is what I think they call this level of membership) also the proximity to the riverfront. Nice to bike the area and return to the hot tub or pool. The layout is challenging to navigate but you get used to it (take the tour). A cafe of sorts would set this place apart from other gyms. But it is downtown walking distance to restaurants.

Great facility. Great staff. Friendly atmosphere. We love going there. 2024-0107 update. This is the best. My wife and I go first thing in the morning before work begins. It keeps me out of trouble. Two inches off of my waistline
