North Hanover YMCA

Love the North Y. Have been here for plenty of events including the SnackTown Fun Run. Staff is always super nice and the new renovations look stunning! Location is amazing, super convenient and easy parking. Plus their summer camp programs are so much fun for kids, they always have a so much fun!

Stupid and ridiculous setup to just get to the pool area. You have to walk through the locker room maze. There's one sign. Go through that door then play a guessing game. Theres like 6 other doors. Make the wrong turn and there's some naked old dude just standing there. Turns out, you have to walk through a shower, or a jacuzzi room, or a bathroom stall, just to get to a hallway that connects to the pool. Makes no sense.

Very nice warm pool for older people to workout in and roomy enough to share with the kids too! Staff friendly and helpful and other people who come in to use the facility are very nice and friendly . Love our North YMCA.

Be aware that the YMCA makes it very difficult and very expensive to terminate membership. They place unauthorized charges on your account and then refuse to cancel membership until you pay these unauthorized charges. If you want to do good for the community, don’t help this organization - instead donate to your local food pantry or homeless shelter.

Talking with the staff is beyond painful. No one ever knows any of the questions you ask, you can literally hang up the phone call back and get someone else on the phone and get 100% different answer than the previous person gave you. They're more concerned with spending money on useless renovations than having knowledgeable staff. One of the most dysfunctional organizations I've ever dealt with
