This is one of the very few full blown gyms in the area - I guess the only other one is YMCA. Even though it’s newer than the Y, it is still old. The equipment itself is OK, but that sofa at the entrance what the heck is with that? (See photo) Imagine a prospective member comes in to perhaps sign up for a membership and is ask to sit there!!! It is peeling and unpresentable! Locker room and the pool/hit tub areas are other examples of lacking proper maintenance. Moldy tiles and rusted ADA accessible chairs. What is nice though is the variety of activities you can do with your membership: cardio and weights of course, but then add sauna, swimming pool, hot tub, racket ball courts, basketball/volleyball court, group classes, spin room, and child care room. That is a lot! Membership promo as of today is $20/mo plus $59 annual fee. So that’s $25/mo after the initiation fee of $99. Not bad assuming you stay as member for a few years, or it’d be like $33/mo. But I think this reflects the fact that the gym is getting old.

This gym's awesome. It has everything and isn't too expensive for what it offers. But, you might wait a bit for some machines.

I don't really know where to begin. I'll just start by saying: I love LA Fitness, it has become my home away from home. All of the staff are amazing, friendly, kind and supportive. One particular staff member that I had the pleasure of working with, was Justin Edward's. Justin is very kind, friendly, and attentive to my needs and concerns relating to my physical fitness and physical discomforts that I brought to his attention during the Complementary Assessment. I've had experience with other Fitness Centers doing assessments with me, for my physical fitness, which was supposed to be tailored to my physical concerns and limitations, but, this time it was different, because I came away confident and hopeful, which was rare. Maybe they didn't take me seriously, but, I felt Justin took me seriously and he really wanted to help me achieve my goals relating to my overall health. I feel I can accomplish the goals that I've set for myself; to age with dignity and grace. Justin's process showed my various exercises that will not only eliminate some of the pain that I had been experiencing, but, also ways that I can use the exercise equipment to support, strengthen, and protect me from injury as I do my daily task at home, which is important for many who choose to age at home and stay active for as long as they can. I left the session feeling inspired, encouraged, motivated and with a plan and visuals in hand. Oh, and I just love the hot tub, for relaxing, stress relief and pain management...LA Fitness is a very healing and healthy atmosphere, the people that I've met at LA Fitness are kind and friendly, too. It has been my favorite place to practice Self-care. The staff don't mind answering questions, either. Thank you LA Fitness, staff and thank you Justin, too.

LA Fitness is hands down the best gym I've been to! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and motivating. The staff is incredibly supportive and helpful... Justin and AR are always willing to help, whether its answering questions about equipment or offering fitness advice. They have really inspired me and made me comfortable in my own skin. Plus, they take the time to educate you about proper form, nutrition tips and recovery methods. I had my complimentary training session with Justin and I learned so much from him He took the time to actually understand my goals and the limitations I had... What sets this gym apart is the community vibe- its comforting to be around people who are just as committed to their fitness journey. The group classes are energetic and professional making the sessions both fun and challenging. If you are looking for a serious gym where you'll feel supported and actually look forward to working out, this is the place to be.

What happened to this place? The floors were dusty, the bathroom filthy, the weight section full of grime and the weight benches were falling apart. Clearly they have stopped caring about their infrastructure or investing in new equipment. I saw only one station with antibacterial wipes. Definitely not a culture of cleanliness or caring about their customers.
