I am feeling that the stuff working in this location are racist and discriminate non white members. I also noticed that the swimming pool stuff/safe guards are receiving gifts from certain swimmers/members which should not be allowed. My son 8 year old using the treadmill for walking with speed only 2mile/h under my close supervising, which is recommended my our UPMC children's hospital doctor for physical training. One of the trainer at YMCA abruptly stopped us however there is no written policy can be searched on their website or posted on wall saying the same thing. Even during our first day orientation staff clearly said that kids of 7 to 9 can use facilities under parents close watch and supervising.

My daughter (6 yrs old), just finished up a round of private swim lessons with John and he was excellent! In just two short hours she is so much more confident in the pool. The whole time she felt safe and had a lot of fun. She's already asking when we can come back for more lessons. Thanks John!

This gym is one of the cleanest I've ever been to. It's reasonably priced, there is support for low income, the trainers are amazing and I feel like the staff actually cares. The classes offered are varied and most are included in the normal fee. Even when it's busy, there is plenty to do and space to move can't recommend it enough.

Very good spot for all kinds of exercise, classes, swimming, basketball and pickleball. Conveniently located by the High School. Lots of parking.

I gave them two stars due to a very positive start. I had wonderful interactions with the first two ladies at the front desk. Both were super helpful and very kind. The reason I went so low was due to a severe lack of professionalism and an absolutely rude trainer. Upon my enrollment for the YMCA, I was told I could have a 30 minute one-on-one with a personal trainer. I had my time set for 11-11:30. The trainer did not arrive until 11:20 and upon arrival, she got right into it. She didn’t even apologize for being so late. She did not ask about my specific gym experience, what I wanted/needed to work on, she just started in right away. I at least thought she would have asked me what I wanted to focus on or my experience level. When I said I needed to leave “early” (at 11:45 as I had other appointments , I got a very sour reaction from her. When I cancelled my membership due to joining for the classes (which a few were taught by her and I did not feel that I would do well), the person I talked to was very dismissive of my poor experience which only made me want to leave that much quicker. Maybe this will work for other people, but it certainly did not work out for me.
