Have been coming to this gym for coming up to 5 years and never had a problem. Some of my highlights about the gym: Staff - I feel comfortable reporting that I haven't had a bad interaction with any of them. Most of the staff are super respectful and helpful if you have any questions. It helps building rapport with them so you can have those friendly interactions before bringing any issue or concern to them. All of my concerns regarding gym access or amenities for my kids or updates on gym fixes were always addressed without issue. Kid Programs - From what I see, the kids who participate in the afterschool appear to be having a ton of fun. My kid isn't part of the program because she attends another school, but TCR has events for kids such as Halloween night and July 4th celebrations where it's catered appropriately for kids. Let me remind you, this is a kids event. Some of the adults dress up like they are going out to a Manhattan lounge. I have gone to the Halloween party every year and my kids absolutely loves it. What I love the most is that it's from 6 pm - 8 pm so enough time for them to get out energy and go right to bed. Gym Equipment - For a relatively small gym, they have the equipment you need to do your thing. Plenty of free weights for the heavy lifters and many cardio machines for you larger people. Cool note - it's currently underway for upgrades so management is aware and are working toward giving it a much needed lift. The TCR cafe is pretty solid as well. Always a fan of their protein shakes. Overall, if you live in the area, it's a solid gym worth the price of admission.

This is the third time this has happened so I can't imagine this is just a mistake and only to me. It feels more like a scam. You should check your credit cards or bank account to see how often this "accident" or "mistake" keeps happening. We've sent our kid there for classes in the past with no problem. But now they have our contact and card information, they keep charging our card without a word for classes that we've never signed up for. We never even contacted them since the last time they fraudulently charged our card out of the blue but now I have to contact them again. To correct it again. Somehow they they keep making the same "mistake" again and again. If this has happened to you please come forward. I think it's time for a class action lawsuit.

Our daughter (7) goes here for an after school program, and we pay extra for tennis and swim lessons. These extra lessons supposedly come with the ability for free swim outside of her classes. But when we showed up, I was told that I needed to pay $30 each time, as an observer, not even swimming as well! And because she is under twelve, an observer is mandatory. So the "free swim" is false advertising. Especially as there is no observation area that would not incur this additional charge. Paying $30 just to sit in a chair is ridiculous under any circumstance, but after our payments for an after school program, tennis lessons and swim lessons they are an insult.

I've been coming to the gym here for a few months now and there are a couple problems here and there but none of them take away from getting a great work out. They are never so busy that you have to wait for anything, they have a large cardio area, multiple cable machines, dumbbells, barbells and kettlebells. They have a deadlift/free squat area, punching bag and a steam room/sauna in each locker room. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great fitness center.
