Retro Fitness

This gym is the first one I have joined, so I don't have any comparisons to other places, but my experience has been great so far. The staff and coaches are always welcoming. I appreciate the point system, which motivates me to go to the gym regularly. Evenings around 7-8 pm during the middle of the week are very busy, and I sometimes have to wait to use the equipment. However, most of the equipment is in good condition. On weekends, I can use any equipment without waiting. My hypertension issues have improved significantly since I started going to the gym, so I will continue coming here to maintain my health.

This Place is Crooked!!!! I signed up during sometime post Covid for a non contract monthly service. Went ONLY once or twice.They tell you that you have to connect a credit card or bank card to get services, which I connected my credit card initially Then immediately Went back to the location to try to cancel because they would not let me do it over phone. They told me I had to come back when the person who is responsible for canceling services is there. I attempted to go back again but missed the person again because they supposedly left work. I also have a job also which I couldn’t miss work and the location wasn’t convenient. It slipped my mind and A year or more ended up passing with Retro getting free monthly payments from my credit card even though I could not go. As soon as i no longer had the credit card, Retro Fitness began to threaten, harass me and accuse me of not making payments. I explained over the phone that they have some nerve to try to get “FREE MONEY “ off of services I did not utilize and tried to terminate. They received free membership money for possibly two years!! I told them to check the account and see for themselves. Instead they hanged up the phone in a disrespectful manner and later investigated to try to ruin my credit history by putting my account in collections for $265. BEWARE!!! Of RETRO FITNESS!!! THEY ARE WICKED!!!! THEY ARE EVIL !!!!

It is a decent place to work out. Continuously renovates and improves itself. I have a good impression. However, it is completely uncontrolled. People continuously uses their cells in workout places, weights are not arranged at all and people loudly talks here and there-even a trainer creates this kind of loud talk. They think it is social-friendly environment. Maybe it is good for some but not for me.

Recently had some redesigning done so it's better than it was 2 years ago, but it's still kind of lackluster and unhygienic. Men's bathroom floor is dirty and the water stations often have bad filters. A policy of cleaning machines after use needs to be reinforced, currently no one cares enough to do it and most machines are covered in sweat, and people don't bother to clean up after their stinky selves. This Gym is quite in good place for workout and the size is massive but the equipments aren’t smooth !! feels terrible because it’s very big gym but to much people. no place to stand on certain time. they need another branch nearby.
