LA Fitness

The gym just got renovated per they say…(it appears getting rid of most of the workout machines and replacing them with a big long black carpet on the floor means renovating for them). They left 4 elliptical machines and little over 10 treadmills and that is about it. The entire half of the gym is just empty space. Of course they did not do anything to the old gross bathroom or showers. It appears their goal was just getting rid of the machines. Management needs to get replaced/fired. This gym is a joke now. I will be looking for another gym. I can see majority of customers leaving this gym. Extremely disappointed customer.

Management/employees do very little in regard to the upkeep of the gym. Weights left anywhere you can imagine, never have I seen a day where the weights were racked and very little is done about it, they’re thrown everywhere. Garbage anywhere you see, do gyms not enforce that as a rule or is it just for show because this seems like the case. The idea of the type of gym this is, seems great. This is executed poorly though. Enforce basic decency in the gym, this would be a 4 star easily.

I had been doing PRT with Austin for last 9 months at least. Very calm yet focused trainer. Addresses all my concerns and questions. Strength/ resistance training in high intensity is the best training one could ask for at my age. Thanks to Austin and Gabe for keeping me motivated! @ LA fitness/ Garden city!

The moment I walked inside the facility I was shocked at how beautiful it was inside. Matt was very helpful and accomodating. He assisted me during my membership process and answered all my questions. He toured us around and from then on, I knew I wanted LA Fitness (garden city) to be my home gym. Price is great and affordable given all the benefits you have. It definitely makes you feel like you wanna work out everyday! 😊

I go to LA fitness at Roosevelt Field Mall. It has a lot of wonderful equipments. lately it’s cleanliness is not as good as it used to be. Steam room was the main attraction of the gym. It is broke for a many weeks. In Sauna the bench broke. Nobody is paying no mind to fix it. This particular gym has a lot of potential to draw a lot of clients but unfortunately, the management is not paying any attention to it in my opinion. This LA Fitness can be the greatest LA Fitness ever if the management can conceptualize it and work towards that goal. Hopefully someone will take care of it and make this gym the greatest ever LA Fitness in your state. I can see that potential but somebody has to dream and do the right job to make it happen
