Has some of the nastiest people working there especially the lady that works at the front desk at night time. She stops me as I am coming in as usual to tell me with a straight face that I owe them two months of membership fees and if if I do not pay they will terminate my membership in few days. This came to me as news as I am coming in regularly and scanning my ID and nobody said anything about the payment not received before today. They have my credit card information on file and charge my card regularly in the beginning of each month. She did not provide any good answer as for why they did not collect the fee as my credit is valid with plenty of funds and is being used by me on daily bases every where. She also said falsely that they called me. And, I absolutely have no records of that. Again and again kept telling me to pay or lose my membership. This is the way they are treating a member of the organization for more than 20 years who is in good standing and used to bring my entire family there. It is disgusting to say the least.

The North Brooklyn YMCA needs help, changes, caring people and more clean and new equipment, the bikes are falling apart, members are falling from the bikes when doing the classes. and please stop interrumping the Instructors with stupidity.

The facilities are not bad, I would have continued being a member if they did not close so incredibly early! 8:30pm on the weekdays and 3pm on the weekends! This really needs to change, no other NYC YMCA closes this early!

Lifeguard Daniel is extremely rude. He's difficult to work with. Parents have asked him to be nicer on multiple occasions. He yells at kids & degrades parents. If he is the lifeguard on duty it's clear what kind of experience you will have.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at the YMCA. I went to cancel my membership and was told I had to give 15 days' notice. I canceled 14 days ahead of my next billing date, but they still charged me for the following month. I've been a member of several other gyms, and I've never encountered such a ridiculous and frustrating policy. This has been an unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
