CrossFit Toy Box

I've been coming to CrossFit Toy Box for just over 6 months now and have been absolutely loving it. The workouts and programming are excellent. All the exercises can be modified depending on your fitness level, which was helpful when I first started. The owner, John, as well as the other coaches, are all knowledgeable and friendly. The gym also has a wonderful community, as all the members are welcoming and supportive. What I've loved most, is that I've been able to push myself each workout without getting hurt, as the coaches and seasoned members have consistently helped me with my form. Before coming to the gym, I had been experiencing lower back pain due to working a desk job and a poor exercise routine. A couple weeks after joining and coming 3x per week, I noticed that my lower back pain was gone, as I began to strengthen the surrounding muscles. And it has felt great ever since! I would highly recommend CrossFit Toy Box to anyone, at all fitness levels. You'll get stronger, look and feel better, and will have fun while doing it!

CrossFit Toy Box is a great place for the workout. The entire group (both coaches and members) are amazing and give warm welcome to all new members. I never felt like a newbie here. All the coaches are excellent and give personal attention to every member during the classes to get the form right. I feel very positive after the workouts. Strongly recommend this place for anyone who would like to try out crossfit.

Over the years I have been going to CrossFit Toy Box and I am consistently impressed with the professionalism of the coaches, the focus on proper form, and the friendliness of all the participants. Given my work schedule I'm not the most consistent member but I've never felt pressure to be there more often other than the fact people genuinely miss you. The coaches do a great job explaining things; even though I will have done a move many times before they are always happy to re-explain how to do it properly - in other words the coaches at this box don't assume everyone knows how to do everything properly, even with consistent members. I feel very comfortable at this box!

My son started a trial class and loved it. We signed up for the first three months and so far so good. We did sign-up during the funnest time of year (Christmas) and were welcomed with open arms by the owner John as well as the Toy Box Kids trainer. She is great with the kids, friendly as well as encouraging. Definitely recommend trying it out. I jumped right into a class and it has been a while since I've done some any type of workout. My form was corrected as to not hurt myself as well as encouraged when I modified (had wrist surgery).

I work in consulting and was a member of this gym community for about 2 months while on a project. Everyone welcomed me and truly met me where I was at. The coaches always emphasized that we all have our own unique journeys of fitness and truly made a welcoming environment. This is a great gym and community and you will grow here with your form and strength. Will miss going here for sure.
