CKO Kickboxing North Brunswick

My experience with North Brunswick CKO is amazing !!! I enjoy the classes and the trainers are always there to help with any questions I may have… the trainers are motivating and the classes are always a great time … ilove cko !!!!

Seriously, can’t say enough great things about CKO NB!! My opinion is that it all starts at the top, and Matt finds great people, and helps make them great trainers! Of course it helps that Matt himself is an awesome trainer…. They have been there for me thru thick and thin, guiding me and encouraging me. I had open heart surgery 1-1/2 years ago, and after appropriate Rehab, clearance to get back to CKO in Feb. 2023. They have been fantastic, helping and watching me, getting me back into the swing of things (pun intended)!! At 68 years old, I am so happy with my choice of CKO NB, and will keep coming back!!! The N Brunswick establishment is a clean, and super fun location with parking. Tho encouraged to do what you can at your own speed, all instructors perform a safe/intense workout. From hitting the bag you select (different weight capacity) with punching and kicking combos, core isolation to hand/barbell weights/medicine balls. Warm ups/down, breathing and stretching techniques are included as well. All while speaking clearly using a headset, listening to a music selection of their choice to entice an upbeat mood. They provide a cleaning solution/paper towels to wipe your area after your workout. SUPER DIVERSE from ages etc., to skill levels, ALL ARE WELCOMED, advanced and beginners (like myself) however, I don’t feel judged as instructors and seasoned participants alike take the class also. I look forward to every class as early as 5:30am to evening time slots (Not really any late afternoon wkday classes 12-3 or late Sat-Sun. Get it in early, ppl have lives!) as I continue my 16wk challenge. I also anticipate making this type of exercise regimen a way of life to stay fit and physically healthy…. And it’s so much fun!

Cko North Brunswick is great! The instructors actually care to get to know you and they truly make class fun. Everyone is so welcoming here. The workouts are intense and I have yet to leave after a class not drenched in sweat and smiling ear to ear! I recommend it to everyone! 9/10/23 I'm editing this review because I canceled my membership in October 2022 with the owner and suddenly started getting charged monthly again (a higher amount even than I was paying when I was a member) in June 2023 and still cannot get resolution from CKO. I have a chain of emails where I am just ignored. No one is there to help me when I am in the area as my work hours are concurrent with their class schedule. It's a shame because I thought this was a great small business for the area and they have since proved me wrong. 1/10/24 Updated again - finally resolved my situation. I still think CKO North Brunswick is great if you are looking for a fantastic workout and crew. My schedule just doesn't work with their class times anymore.

I’ve been a member of 4 CKOs and I absolutely love them. North Brunswick CKO is no different. It is always clean. The trainers are so attentive and the members make for a pretty awesome community. Here to stay!!!
