Cho's Legacy TKD Martial Arts

Cho's Legacy is a wonderful martial arts center where my special needs son had the opportunity to grow in skill and character for the past two years. Master Acevedo is an amazing teacher. He has been supportive and shown care to son throughout his martial arts journey, whether by sending a handwritten note to celebrate belt rank milestone or birthday to accommodating my son's constant need to know what happens next by providing a schedule for me to go over with him in advance (this was for a summer camp week). We are thankful to Master Acevedo and his staff for making TKD such a great experience for my son, though he has now moved on to other interests.

Master Acevedo is a Saint! Our 5-year-old son, on the spectrum, attends private lessons with Master Acevedo. Master Acevedo has the patience (of a saint) and discipline when teaching. He looks and finds different strategies in teaching to accommodate our son and his needs. He is always positive and encouraging. We have seen amazing progress in our son and are greatly appreciative of Cho's Legacy and their outstanding program. Highly Recommend!

My four and 3/4 year old daughter has been coming here for several months and we could not be happier with the experience. Master Acevedo is an exceptional instructor, able to instill discipline, perseverance and build self confidence on my daughter - even at her early age. As others mentioned, he is great with kids, patient yet able to pass down the sense of discipline and respect the sport requires. This past weekend my daughter earned her yellow belt and not only did he do an amazing job successfully encouraging her to break her first board, he took the time for photos at the end. Tae Kwon Do is great character building sport and Cho's Legacy takes it further.

Cho’s Legacy has become a second home for our son. Master Acevedo is an incredible leader. He works everyone very hard but with compassion, understanding and an eye toward keeping it fun. He tailors his teaching approach to each student individually so that they can learn optimally. Thank you, Master Acevedo, for such an incredible dojo!

Highly recommend Cho's Legacy in Morris Plains! Master Acevedo and his staff run a highly efficient business and very welcoming classes for new students of all ages and skill levels. They lead from the front and teach fundamentals of confidence, discipline, and respect. The best part is they make it fun and engaging for beginners and all belt levels. Great programs, lot's of communication, and additional optional activities for all ages. Our young daughter was interested in tae kwon do as a beginner, loved the classes, and started to advance at a great pace. She takes pride in what she learns at Cho's Legacy, and it has positively impacted her daily habits and responsibilities.
