Empower Martial Arts of Aberdeen & Matawan

Classes at EMA Matawan has been an amazing experience. My kid loves them and is always willing and excited to attend these sessions,even though she may be tired from school. The teachers are very nice and its a pleasure to watch them work with all the children.

Our daughter has been attending Empower Martial Arts since she was 3 years old. As a young child, attending class helped our daughter develop coordination, confidence, and learn to follow instructions in a group setting. 3 years later, our daughter still enjoys attending classes bi-weekly. Empower has helped her increase her stamina, build leadership skills, and understand concepts such as perseverance, focus, and self-discipline. The staff at Empower work hard to engage all students during classes and encourage parent participation within the child’s experience. Empower Martial Arts provide activities outside of typical classes for the students which include parents’ night out, opportunities to bring buddies, and holiday events. I would highly recommend Empower Martial Arts as its not just taking a class but joining a community that really encourages their students to learn and grow.

I have nothing but good things to say about EMA. It’s been such an enriching experience for my girls. Not only do they teach them life long self defense skills (which is valuable in itself), but they also reinforce discipline, and good character. Our family is very impressed with how much our girls have bloomed. Thank you EMA!!!

I don’t really write reviews anywhere but this place deserves it. EMA is an awesome place for kids. They treat everyone with respect, have great manners and try to meet your kids needs. As a parent I enjoyed watching my kid being trained there. Keep up the great work!!

Deshi Kelsi and the team are amazing. My daughter enjoys training with the crew. She was hesitant in the beginning as she is eleven and taller than the rest of the kids but she always feels welcomed. Very supportive team 👍😊
